Now Test Your Luck I can never really get into. Too random. Like...I'm the kind of guy whose favorite fighting game is Smash Bros...but plays it with items turned off, lol.

See I like that stuff. The Smash series is one of my favorites and the tourny crowd has liquidated it to a bland state. Their argument being they don't want random elements screwing them up, and that it isn't a true evaluation of their skill. So matches are no items 1v1. But I think if you are a true master of smash you are able to use items properly, defend against them properly, and also able to fight 3 other opponents at the same time. It actually makes for a deeper and more challenging experience.

This is why I think for competitive play Injustice should always have stage interactions.

When it comes to test your luck, I think it's fun to fight with the randomness and the crips. I don't take it very seriously but its a nice change of pace and it's fun to fight against the obstacles.

My friends and I usually get together and play 3 or 4 player matches. We just don't use items because it gets kinda boring and repetitive when it turns into a contest to see who can pick up and chuck things at each other the fastest.

I find that playing as someone else at the drop of a hat is incentive enough. I mean that's the whole point of having a tag-team mode in a game, the ability to be two different characters at the same time and flip between them at will. I don't need any bonus reason to tag like getting health back or something, I'm gonna tag because I want to be the other guy.

Maybe I just have a really short attention span for fighting games, but I often stop in the middle of the ladder to go back to the select screen too because I'm sick of being the same guy and want to change it up, and I play story mode a lot even though I hate the game's plot, just because it gives you a different guy every 4 fights. I just cannot be the same guy for too long or I get bored.

Like I said, I never play anything but tag now. I don't think I've played 1v1 Arcade since the first month I owned MK9. I did it to unlock all the endings as quick as possible, and then I never looked back.

Also, personally I really enjoy the tag attacks and assists. I just wish there were tag matches in story mode because there are so many scenes where it would make sense to be fighting with a partner. Like Kung Lao spends half of his chapter traveling with Liu Kang, so why couldn't I be the Shaolin Monks together? Or why not have a point where you get to be Sonya and Jax, or Sub-Zero and Smoke, or Sektor and Cyrax? Half the cast rolls with a partner and you never put that in the game, but oh, you'll do the reverse and put the player in handicap matches where I'm alone and the enemy gets a partner? That's not very fun...

And I'm sure there will be many situations in Injustice where the same is true, like Batman and Nightwing are partners. Batman and Superman roll as a team sometimes, "the World's Finest", If Poison Ivy's in the game, her and Harley Quinn are well known for working together, Green Lantern and Green Arrow are best friends, etc. I'd like to see these partnerships represented in the game's story mode with them getting to fight together in tag matches.

Batman and nightwing.Ok someone put tag team in the story....NOW!
But really i.would .love.that.
