Couldn't tell ya why it's modeled so weird in the render, though. Makes his head look tiny.

His costume is nearly identical to his New 52 costume, minus the busy designs in the red parts of his costume. And I know there are going to be alternate costumes, and more than likely Classsic costumes, via DLC.

The bigger question for me is, who's side is he on?

not sure what to say about this one. I wanted SHAZAM in this game, but I'm not really syked with this news. Maybe it's just the render and he looks better in game. This is gonna come of as a little gay but I pictured him looking buffer and with a better looking face

Probably Batman's

He's a kid remember. I don't think a kid would be too keen in the idea of killing bad guys.

This is Netherrealm's take on Shazam. I wouldn't think so Disney cookie-cutter if I were you.

I should have known they couldn't improve on the perfection that was his Alex Ross inspired look from MK vs DC, but I also hate the new 52 so I suppose I'm biased. Here's hoping for classic alts for the whole cast

Also, this is NRS's take on the design specifically. I think the story is being done by DC writers.

From what I've heard it's the same Netherealm writers that wrote Mortal Kombat, but with Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Grey giving them a sort of guidance in "how would so and so react to this", keeping it in line with the continuity, but otherwise it's an original story from the NRS writers, I believe.

Mixed feelings I like this costume in the comics but it hasn't translated well to this Render, still the costume could look well in game.

Overall I'm pleased Captain Marvel is back.

Yeah. It's being written the same way MK vs. DC Universe was written. Vogel and co. do the script then have Palmiotti and Gray come in to check over the dialogue and make sure the characters are talking the way they would actually talk.

I like that new design. But like most other characters in this game, the looks just don't translate very well. I don't like the render, at all.
