Well, just because they are revealed via trailer or Battle Arena, doesn't mean they are going to throw them up on the site.

Besides, websites like those, usually don't stay up-to-date. That's just how it's always been with all their previous games.
dude there still probably fixing bugs and polishing up the game since its out april 16th wich isnt that to far away.

also i just caught word a demo will be at c2e2 in april sadly i cant go do to money but i thought id mention it to those who are going

I don't believe the game designers are the ones actually updating and managing the website. They have seperate people for that. Just as the facebook and twitter pages aren't managed by them either. They have community managers etc. for that stuff.

Either way, these characters haven't even been revealed for a week yet(3 days since Cap M, and just today for Aquaman), so give it some time.

MK9 stuff got revealed just perfectly in my opinion. I don't like them revealing everything months ahead of time, nor do I need a gameplay trailer for every character. But then again, i'm not an entitled gamer either. I appreciate what we're given, and enjoy the anticipation and speculation that takes place in between reveals.

I've really enjoyed the marketing/revealing of this game as well.

But hey, positivity is overrated I guess...

The MK9 website had pages for only what, 6 out of 28 characters? So we're already way ahead.

I don't have a problem with the speed at which they reveal characters.

But I DO have a serious problem with the way that we USED to get renders and concept art before the games came out in the DA thru Armageddon era and got almost none from MK9 until the game was already released.

That said, they're doing a far better job with that this time around.

I'd hope they add Hal and Slade before/at the same time as the others. They were confirmed long before the two you queried.

It just depends on which perspective you're coming from. The lore types tend to prefer a slow trickle of pictures, artwork, and interviews, while the tournament players like character-specific gameplay trailers. The way Capcom marketed MvC3 is the best FG marketing campaign I've seen to date.

What they did for Aquaman today was amazing, but I would have liked to see the other reveals get the same treatment. For whatever reason, WB took a slower, minimal marketing approach. Nothing wrong with that.
But it isn't hype. Either WB doesn't understand what hype is, or they're not concerned with it (probably the latter).

Though on the subject of MK9, Smoke's official reveal being a clip of his KotH avatar was dumb. No one is gonna sway me on that one. I still don't think Smoke's late reveal had anything to do with the marketing; I think they knew the hair looked bad and they were trying to figure out a way to fix it.

And since that never happened...

IMO it has nothing to do with being entitled or negative. I just like to know what I'm buying. Like I want to know literally EVERYTHING before I buy it. I don't enjoy the constant speculation or waiting. Now I'm not saying they should release everything all at once but I like a steady stream of stuff up until the release.
