100% not moving Scorpion? That wasn't said at all. Who's to say that they can't put a hero on the villain side anyway like they did with Scorpion?

I'm going to guess that Scorpion is moved to the villains side. If he's counted as a villain throughout modes and statistics, I don't see why they wouldn't move him.

Scarecrow, Bizarro, Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Circe, Black Manta, Professor Zoom, Captain Cold, Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Darkseid

Personally, I'd like to see Swamp Thing(save Dr. Fate for the main roster in the next game) on the heroes side. For the villain, Scarecrow/Ivy/Clayface would make for some very flashy specials and effects, so any of those would be really neat to see at some point.

Or all addon characters can be placed in a multislot like in MK
(Skarlet-Frredy were selectable in in 1 panel; Kratos on PS3/V)

I hope not, I hated that way of putting characters in the roster.

They could easily put more character on the roster, all they'd have to do it shrink the character portraits somewhat. They can all fit nicely on the screen if they didn't take that much room. Most portraits in other fighting games only take about half the height on the IGUA ones.

As for Scorpion, I can totally see him being moved over to the villain side. Hero characters seem more popular to the fans than villains, so it would only make sense if they gave the fans more new heroes than villains.

I agree with blackcyborg, although I would still really like to see Dr Fate I don't see it happening and I hope Swamp Thing makes it in. For the villain I would rather see Black Manta or Atrocitus.

He could be on the villains side though. So many anti-heroes.

I think it's not done because Injustice, unlike MK, renders a body portrait of the fighter in middle of screen rather than on the sides. so I don't know if NRS is willing to work around that if they were to give use more (than 2?) new characters.

I've been hoping for Fate, but when it comes down to it, I'd rather he be included in the main roster of the sequel. There's no shame in that, and I can wait. I just imagine myself being more hyped up and excited leading up to the next game, than if he were to be released as DLC a few weeks down the road.



Yeah, I considered that, but these days he's considered to be on the side of good. But yeah, either one would work.

I don't care if they're heroes or villains, as long as every DLC character they add from here on is female.

As much as I like sausages, I think you're right. Poison Ivy would be a welcome and unique addition.

I'm fine with two villains as long as it's not an enemy of Batman or Superman in either slot.

If I were Netherrealm I would save some of the fan requested characters for the sequel (if there ever is one) just to get people excited for it. With rumor's of a complete edition coming and the next generation of consoles getting ever closer I would imagine that all DLC is about to come to an end. I think they will eventually just release the IOS skins for DLC release a complete edition and focus their efforts on MK2015, they have to eventually if they plan to keep up with their 2 year development cycle. Though I wouldn't care if it took them 3 or 4 years to make a new one, sometimes it's worth the wait.

As of right now she's on the villains side. So either there's a hero and villain left or someone DLC people are getting moved around.

Anyway, since Aquaman and Flash have no villains and Green Arrow, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman only have one, I think it's time to expand their rogues galleries. Like I'd be totally satisfied if we got at least one of the following

Volthoom
Atrocitus

Wonder Woman Villains

Aquaman Villains

Don't forget, it's a business, whoever they choose has to sell. Especially because there's no pre-paid bundle option here, so anyone that is chosen has to stand on their own and appeal to a mass audience.

Not to say none of those can, I'm just saying...it is a big factor. So for the lesser known characters to a mass audience, such as the ones you listed above for the most part, they may struggle to make good money.

As for "we need more females", this IS a fighting game. Usually there's more males to females about 4 to 1 ratio. So, the amount that's in the game currently, 8, is pretty decent as it is.

Except for the fact that most fans of DC Comics know who Black Manta, Captain Cold and Circe are. Ocean Master was name dropped in Injustice. Volthoom was a recent villain in the New 52, Cheshire was part of the Secret Six and will appear on Arrow, Drakon Appeared on Arrow, Genocide was the main vilain of Gail SImone's Wonder Woman run, Arkillo now shares a title with Kyle Raynor in the New 52, Atrocitus was a major character on the Green Lantern animated series and has his own title and Mirror Master was in the Injustice comic.

These characters aren't as obscure as you think.

Still would like to see Mirror Master, but that triplicate move of Zatanna's already stole a bit of his thunder. He could work like Noob and Kenshi from MK2011. Has anyone noticed that Captain Cold is rocking Sub-Zero's ice arm's in the New 52? I know similar things have been done in comics before with ice centric characters but it looks almost identical to Sub-Zero's arms from DA.

Yes they are. They're B- league at their absolute best and that's being pretty generous.
