Believe it or not, going back a couple years this place used to be a hive of discussion. Discussion about actual topics. Topics worth discussing - or at least, worth more than two lines worth of something like your opinion about who you think the coolest Mortal Kombat character is.

This place is already boring, and it's because of all the forum games (among other things).

It isn't 5 or 6, either. I counted when I first saw this thread and there were at least 10 threads relating to forum games on the first page.

Edit: I don't have a problem with most of these individually... Just pointing this out for arguments sake...

I dunno why you guys are hatin on this topic so much, SST is right...

It's funny too, most of the people complaining about this topic are members who have been here quite some time. Do you not remember what the General forum used to be like? Like krackerjack said, it was full of interesting, worthwhile topics. Ones that were fascinating to read, and to contribute to also...At the moment it seems like any such topic gets lost down the pages before they can really get going.

I think krsx is right, This forum used to be so fun and I was eager to come, Now is full of games (even though most of em suck I respect and don't hijack em) and other stupid thinkgs like "Gay transvestites that live with wolves: Yay or Nay". But I keep the faith on these forums, I hope another forum for games is made so we can regain peace here in general.

Maybe making a new forum for Games would be a good idea. Then people who dont play wont have to visit and be annoyed by them 'taking over' other forums.

The forums always dry out when lots of the vets and old faces leave temporarely or peranently. The newer ones are probably younger than we are, judging from the posts of course.

it's a temporal slowdown of mind. Things should liven up after time. If not, then we shall kick the craop out of anyone who posts something abo-ut "g** wolverines" or whatever. -sarcasm intended.

Now the idea is starting to sound better to me.It would make general better overall and control them.Well,my view changed pretty damn quick.

It has been my experience that those who state they aren't complaining usually complain the loudest.

I agree that there are those who have been here a long time complaining about the subject of the topic and i find it odd that a good majority of the so called vets who complain about such issues do nothing to contribute topics of the discussion and intellect level that they supposedly miss.

I'm not saying this because I host two of these forum games and wouldn't want them moved. It'd be nice to have a new place for them and I wouldn't be worried about it as long as they were allowed to be played and made freely by the uses on this forum. I just find it strange that so many wanting them shifted elsewhere seem to do nothing about keeping the General board with an array of interesting topics.

This is of course, just my humble opinion.
