You got to remember that there are still a lot of butt hurt jealous fans that hate Scorpion because of his popularity that will always vote against him.

In reality this match up should be something like over 90% in Scorpion's favour.

Scorpion because he's an undead ninja, and Li Mei is well... Li Mei.

Scorpion is nowhere near my favorite character and is easily my least favorite "ninja" with the exception of possibly Rain. Now you may not be included in this, but we all know that there is a large group of people who hate him because it is cool to hate something that is popular. XDXDXDXD

Scorpion's a cool character, even with his now stale storyline, but I gotta give this one to Li Mei. She was quite possibly my favorite character to play as in Deception, behind Ermac and, well, Scorpion.

That sword style of her's, *whew*...nasty...

I don't see why Li Mei is one of the worst characters ever made. Is it because for all her fighting prowess she is young, naive and susceptible? Heaven forbid we give DEPTH to any of these characters...

But I voted Scorpion because whenever I visit my best friend and his wife, I wind up playing "Justice League" with their five-year old son and his Fisher Price Batman figures. To throw into the mix, I bought the Super-Deformed MK figures of Scorpion, Quan Chi, and Kabal.

"Is he a good guy or a bad guy?" he'd ask about Scorpion.
"Well, he's neutral."
"What does that mean?"
"It means he doesn't take a side and that he looks out for himself."
"Okay, well this week he can be a GOOD guy, but next week he's a BAD guy."

So yes, I got to explain the heady concept of neutrality to a kindergartener through Scorpion- the flagship character of one of the most not-for-children games of all time. Whatever I thought of the yellow ninja in the past is null and void now.

Mick-Lucifer asked us to vote FOR characters, not AGAINST them. I'm trying to uphold that.

Well, I voted Li Mei, because I like her more than Scorpion.
