Yes Scorpion has fans, just like every character in this game, but similarly he has people who dislike/hate/despise him. All characters have fans and haters. Deal with it. This is just a game. Sareena is my favourite character...and she has jsus been booted. Am I moaning? No. Am I shouting and screamin and flaming those who boot her? No. Because I realise....THIS IS A GAME!!!

My edits were solely in response to the crap you just pulled -- I originally booted Meat last round until I saw all the Scorpion votes change. And then I initially booted Sheeva solely because you voted to boot Scorpion, but when I realized Scorp was gone, I changed it to eliminate a character I knew you guys liked... I originally voted nice but went nasty in response to your moves. And no, editing isn't sleazy, and that's not what I'm complaining about -- you've completely missed the point. What I am complaining about was an apparently mean-spirited and concerted effort to eliminate Scorpion in such a way, over a short period of time, that didn't give his fans an opportunity to respond.

Look, I pretty much expect Scorp to get booted sooner or later, it's only a matter of time before a window of opportunity opens up because his supporters can't be on 24-7. But trying to force the issue in such a way just comes off seeming unfair to the rest of us.

And U say it aint fair on the Scorpion that his booting is so swift and Brutal......well think about the Sonya fans. She was Brutally booted....only because she was female. Noone immuned Sonya and booted Scorpion, so what is the reason behind her brutal booting. I dont hear u complaining about her brutal booting.

True, but I know at least one of those votes was changed to Sonya in response to Scorpion bootings -- Crow said so -- and I'm willing to bet at least a few of the later votes were just people following suit. I actually like Sonya, myself, and am always disappointed to see her go. But when the anti-Scorp crowd starts in on him right away, the pro-Scorp crowd will retaliate and can't be faulted for it.

Look, this is pointless. I'm not really all that upset over it, it IS just a game. I just thought it looked a little unfair and decided to call you on it, is all. So let's just drop it now before we both actually get upset. Like you said, let's get on with the game.

I have said this before and it seems it needs repeating.

I wish people would learn to deal with the fact that not everyone likes the spectre. The point of the game is to boot someone and immune someone else. I don’t like Scorpion, so I boot him. I have made no secret of this. Check back on all the other games and you’ll see in almost every one of them, my first boot has been Scorpion. If others choose to boot him and he does go, then that’s their business. Furthermore, many a time characters I like have been dismissed in the hours when I am not around, but I don't start posting messages like that one and putting the blame on someone or make excuses. It is the same with many other people. Time and again I’ve seen Jade, Sonya, Li Mei, Ashrah, Tanya, Sareena and others ganged up on and booted, but you won’t find a complaint about it from me within these threads.

Also, just because people like Scorpion, doesn't mean everyone esle who wants him out has to suddenly stop booting him just to please his fanboys. I have made no secret if my dislike towards Scorpion, and I will boot him as I see fit. As said, if others choose to follow suit or do so before me, that is their business. Deal with it! It is only a game!

Also, let me draw some attention to the rules.

1.THIS IS ONLY A GAME! Please repeat as often as needed THIS IS ONLY A GAME!

It would seem the above rule is being forgotten somewhere along the line.

5. Flames are to be kept to a minimum. If your favourite character/fighter has been booted from the game, please refer to Rule #1. However you are allowed to weep and/or cry.

This one I think certain people need to refer to and keep in mind. I am not saying you can’t complain, but the reactions in the past few threads are getting ridiculous.

7. DO NOT change your vote after the tally is posted. You are welcome to change your vote during an existing round, but once the round is over it is too late.

Editing is allowed in this game. It is something I am wanting to remove as Crow can tell you, but there is no way of stopping it so it has to remain.

8. Team efforts are welcomed.

Scorpion was booted via vote editing. Trust me, he is not the only one who has been disposed of in this way. You yourselves edit, so it is really unnecessary to complain about others doing it. Also, whether say edits were planned or not is regardless. As the rule states, team efforts are allowed. I am aware of many alliances throughout the course of these games, the latest brought to my attention is an alliance for Scorpion. I think the anger is there simply because he is managing to be dispatched by a few who aren’t even allied together.

Scorpion just like anyone else probably will and can end up being booted. It is only a game.
