*sigh* Second game in a row where Scorp goes down to shady vote editing... This time it looks more like a double-edged knife as he was only put in that position by vote-editing by one of his supporters in the first place...

Can we somehow do away with vote editing? Like, once you cast your vote, so long as it's a legal vote, you're stuck with it, so those who vote later can make informed decisions on where everyone's votes are and don't have to worry about that suddenly changing? If Scorpion hadn't already supposedly been immuned, I might have cast an immune vote for him in one of those previous rounds...

Ok heres what happened.. it seems as if me and tgrant were tallying at the same times.. at this moment we both saw that scorpion was at 7,6 immuned.. well it seems that as we were about to post our tallies we changed our votes, he changed his boot vote from scorpion to fujin at this moment I changed my immune from scorpion to cyrax.. now during this time we didn’t see 1 or the other change our votes.. I posted my edit then 1 sec later (because I had 2 windows open) I posted the new tally.. w/ scorpion at 6,6 and cyrax immuned.. well I always go back to recheck all votes after my tallies, because in the past I have missed some CHANGED votes.. well I went to page 6 and there were mine and tgrants changed votes, I also had to find out if kira was to be immuned during my tally or if she was to become un immuned.. well I seen that tgrant had kira immuned on his list and he had fujin there as his boot vote and my changed vote to cyrax.. so I went to my tally, at this time tgrant had posted in the next round.. i edited my tally and put scorpion at 6,5 instead of 6,6.. WELL what could of happened is that during the time I was rechecking all the votes, tgrant could have been fixing his edit to fujin and put it back to scorpion, since the rule is u cant change ur boot vote after a tally has been made... well maybe while he posted his edit I was still on that page checking every 1’s votes.. then by the time I went back to page 7, tgrant could have had the time to post his new votes for that round.. well we both went ahead w/ our normal activites.. later on mkkitana signed on to mkonline and made his vote for the new round, he also rechecked to see how scorpion wasn’t immuned for round 7 and checked all of scorpions votes in round 6 he had a count of 6,6 because of tgrant edit back to scorpion which I had missed.. he pointed this mistake to tgrant, saying dan fucked up his tally, so tgrant changed his boot vote in round 11 to scorpion then mkkitana posted the new tally making scorpion booted.. but what I don’t get is y tgrant didn’t acknowledge his change to fujin then back to scorpion w/ in the time of my new tally.. he just went ahead and ignored that fact..


so with all this confusion I think scorpion should be put back into the game.. I know what I saw, but tgrant knows what he saw..

also i had said that i seen his boot to fujin for a while, maybe i could have just not refreshed the page and i just hit back instead of refresh... so that could explain that...

While interesting to see how it happened, it just reinforced my opinion that vote-changing should be made against the rules.

And for the record, I think the booting should stand. Vote changing, as of now, is allowed, and Scorpion was booted via it. Unfair yes, but cheating no, and thus should stand. I really think that in the future, however, banning vote changing should be seriously looked into.

also i dont want to be a tallier any more.. so take me off that list... to many headaches.. lol this way i dont have to check and recheck votes over and over..

Well personally, It seems like we will never find out what happened, there are too many if's and but's.

Basically, Its Dans word Against Tgrants. We wont ever know what happened.

As far as Im concerned, the thing should just be laid to rest. We wont find out what happened or who edited when and such like

I tallied the votes which I seen. I wasnt around at dans tally, when I arrived, I voted and a few votes after mine I preapred the tally as it was nearing 15 votes, and noticed something odd with Scorpions boots and that was Scorpion at 6,6. I did tell Tgrant and Toxik this and they both said yeah ur right he has 6 boots. I could only tally what I seen. So as far as Im concerned, my tally still stands. We will never know what actually happened, so I suggest we just accept it as a misunderstanding/mistake and move on and continue with the game.

I also agree with Deadboy, the editing thing has to be looked at somehow
