Well i was informed that it was the finals for this game and that Kitana was in the finals so i decided to drop by and place my vote. Obviously its for "Kitana".

Time has expired... and by my count, the result is:

Kitana: 23
Sektor: 23

This means the next vote should decide it... the rules don't explain that quite well, so if I am allowed to vote I cast it for Sektor. If not... that's fine as well.

hmm what about giving the victory to both of them? that would be the easy way. Or wait for someone who have not voted yet to vote, I don't think that someone should be allowed to vote twice in the same round, just my personal opinion.

I do agree with that... someone who has not voted yet should be the one who decides, but again that section of the rules isn't explained entirely. Giving them both the victory may be necessary here because the rules aren't clear enough to determine a victor. The "next vote" doesn't exclude anyone who has already voted (above) or myself as a tallier (above).

Before asked, I did not include Kitana_arsenal's vote. She did not register in the registration thread nor was I sent a PM notice that she had been accepted into the game. It is not fair to include her vote on hearsay alone.

By the sounds of it the rules are unclear about who exactly has the next vote.

Personally I think it should eb the first one AFTER the tallier. If not, then the tallier always has the deciding vote, and their post informing people that it is a tie will appear at the same time as their vote, therefore not even giving people a chance to know its a tie and vote accordingly.

Crow's vote counts, Sektor wins. Kitana will get plenty of other chances as I doubt Sektor will.

Or give them both the victory.

I actually do agree with that, but the problem is the rules do not state any such thing. My vote should count since it is not mentioned at any point in the rules.

Give Sektor the win for this one from Crow's () vote, then the rules could have a slight edit afterwards incase this situation arises again.

I'm really not sure... I don't like that section of the rules at all. This must be changed immediately to:

"In the event of a tie, the next vote after the announcement of the tie will decide the winner. This voter must not have voted in the previous 24-hour period."

However, since that's not included... isn't it fair to follow the current rules and allow Sektor to win?

I say let Sektor have this one. Then edit the rules after. It's only game 1 out of 12.
