Police in Verona, Italy, have arrested a priest who regularly
visited a brothel and hired hookers to dress up like nuns.
A spokesman for the Vatican described the priest's behavior as progress.

A) This should be fair for everyone I guess... But if there were to actually be a tie after 24 hours (what could be the odds of that??), the tie-breaker vote would be the vote made right after the 24 hours?

B) To me it kinda makes the game a bit more fun, but it might be confusing for some... Maybe we could try it for one game and see how it goes, and then decide what to do? And I think we should do a and b, but the cap placed at 3 stars. I think 10 is high enough.

Hey is there a roule against voting to boot and immune the same character in the same round? I never noticed if there is or not, heh.

A) The 24hr voting sounds good and relatively easy since the date and time of the starting vote is recorded automatically by the system. This will help make sure that everyone gets to vote and no one can complain that it wasn't fair that their character lost since he/she had work/sleep/school.

B) At first I kinda liked this idea since my fav is one of those characters that gets immuned alot but then booted near the end due to sore losers. However, after thinking about it its just more work and can't easily be goofed. Those of us who do tallies get flamed enough for forgetting to take someone off the list when they have been booted, or miscounting the votes because someone votes while the tally is being added up. The 'star' system just gives people another target to flame.

i think the idea of getting more votes to get booted is kinda not cool..it should stay at 7,7 at all times even when there r 10 characters left my idea is if a character gets immuned like 5x's he should get a star by his name (he would still be immuned for that round also) but what that star gets him is a free ride if he gets booted. if he gets booted and he has a star, he will lose that star but get a 2nd chance to stay in the game he would have to get booted 1 more time to be kicked out of the game. characters can only get 3 ***'s..if some 1 gets 3***'s he would have to get booted 4 x's.. the reason for needing to be immuned 5x's to get 1 star is cuse the character needs to be popular to get that star....example...say if reptile gets immuned 10 x's he would have 2 ** then he gets booted he then would have only 1 star * but then he gets immuned 10 more x's he would only get 1 more star.so at this moment he would have 2 stars ** he had lost 1 already..at this moment he already got his 3 ***'s he cant get any more no matter how many times he gets immuned.. so he now has **'s he will need to get booted 3 more times.... any 1 like this idea? if u need me to explan better let me know...

I really like how you explained it but like the others I say no.

This whole thing of adding too many new rules is getting a bit annoying. Im not sure about option A but option B should definitely not happen.

It should always be 7 boot and immune votes, from start to end. Option B is well elaborated but too confusing and all, it will even take longer and it kind a takes the fun out of the game.

7 votes is enough. No more of this rules please, its getting way to annoying.

the reason for all these rules is cuse of people like your self u vote like in 1 or 2 rounds then ur fav get attack by 7 people then u leave never to vote again cuse ur pissed........this way w/ the rules maybe u wont get so pissed and u'd feel ur fav got booted fairly and u would still vote in the game, and not leave.. that y we r coming up w/ rules...

Yes, those rules are good, but all this new rules are not.

Besides, its just a game and if a fave is booted then wait for next game.

The whole 7 immune and 7 boot votes is perfectly fair, its the persons desicion if they want to keep playing or not. Its childish to get angry cause a fave is gone.

If a fave is booted then too bad, thats how the game works. No need of silly * stars and magic help.

Well its also just a game as said before... So what if your favorite character loses or wins to some game like this. My favorite character got booted and I still came back and voted on other chracters as did many others. I think it was fair enough that a character is hated and is booted by 7 people(due to the topic creators rules). But I don't see how this is going to work if we are wanting EVERYONE to have a chance to vote and for it to be fair. I'm to lazy to read what ideas were above.

ur right i guess i was just brain storming..got bored lol so there is no more confustion each game should be just like this 1 (game seven) just the only rule that should be added is the 24 hour 1.. but if there is a tie i feel that one of the MODS should be the tie breaking vote since they never vote..it'll be only fair..heheh wink

There's a date and time at the top of your post. Whoever starts off the last round, that'll be when the 24 hours starts counting down.

A.) Yes, of course i agree with the 24-hour rule, for obvious reasons. lol

B.) Well, though the idea is noble, i think it shouldn't go through, if it just adds, then its always the poplular once that win. i mean, that's what i like about this game... its so unpredictable becasue sometimes not so popular characters win. And by keeping it at the old rule, there will be more strategy on how to make each character win.

I think the whole thing is getting a bit complicated, particularly for newer player, what is great about the game was that it is an easy game, now with all those rules it is getting complicated for no reasons.

Personnally, I would keep it (7,7) but when there is 2 characters left, it would pass to 10 immune votes, just my 2 cents

A) Well since I complained about this you know I’m for it. But I think a contingency plan is needed in the event of a tie after 24 hours.

B) I don’t think only the boot votes needed should go up leaving the immunes at 7. even if it’s capped it will be damn near impossible to remove a character who needs 10 boot to 7 immunes because they’ll get the 7 every time and the boot count will reset and be higher the next time around. If you want to do this both the boot and immune numbers should go up. This would give the character more chance to stick around but still be even instead of having an outright advantage. If the votes needed were the same then you could leave the limit uncapped as a compromise until the final 10. also there shouldn’t be however many stars indicating what level a character is on, it should just be one star to show that this rule applies and the new votes needed number in a bracket.

EG:
*(8) Striker (0,0)

Meaning that Strikers level is now 8 votes needed to boot or immune him and currently he’s on 0 for both. That way people would actually be encouraged to look at the board once in a while.

Anyways I like proposition A and if Prop B is handled right I like it also, but it still needs to be simple.

A: Very very good. Definitely a must.

B: Please no. I have to agree with someone who said that the game is getting to complicated and annoying with all this recent updates.

Only the 7 votes should count, no stars to help your character and no other stuff like that.

Please, lets keep this game as nice as it was back in the "old days" lol.

BTW, Tgrant, when you update, add the names of:

Deadboy

Shinomune

They helped in the updating system! smile

What he said!

No more of this complicated stuff please. Only option A, the rest of the game should be like it was before!

A. I kinda prefered the progression from 7 to 10 votes for the final ten to 13 for the final 2. It seemed to me like most people involved with the game got to vote (though maybe not all). The final round did take like twelve hours as it was. But that's just my own preference.

B. Enh. I was pretty unsure whether it was a good idea when I threw it out there. I still like it, but it seems like it got pretty well shot down in the court of public opinion. It doesn't bother me much. I just thought it would be kinda neat to give some kind of long-term effect to being immuned so characters that get immuned a lot (and thus have a large fan base) would get some kind of benefit. But oh well.

Well, it's agreed! The 24 hour voting for the last round will be done and is easily taken care of time wise. However, it will need to be started by someone and again that can be taken care of.

Option b is out! Even though I liked the idea, let's keep the game simple.

Game 8 shall begin very soon!

See you all there! smile

Tgrant makes sure the votes limits are omnce again reduced to 7 and no higher.

Its best how it started.
