Actually, that is a good question. To be honest, I don't really know the answer.
You see we don't know if the ending is official. therein lies the predicament. If it is, then Sub-Zero Classic shall be removed from the list. Noob Saibot shall remain. If not, then they both stay. Since we already have younger Sub-Zero as the champion, removing classic Sub-Zero might be an idea regardless.

If robot smoke and human smoke are different/the same, than Original Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot should be different/the same...

Here lies the problem with that. There is Classic Sub-Zero's UMK3 ending, which implies that the UMK3 Classic Subby is a completely different person than the two Sub-Zeros who are brothers. In light of Noob-Smoke's ending from MKD, it may be possible that Classic Subby's UMK3 ending may be canon. Then again, I have reason to suspect that UMK3 Classic Subby and MK3 Unmasked Sub-Zero are the same person. Somewhat of a controversy over the removal of Classic Subby in Boot and Immune.

BL666: I see you understand the predicament. I would say pull the plug on Classic Sub-Zero. But not because of this whole 'I am Noob' thing. But rather for the sake of there not being more than one Sub-Zero in the game. If he won this game it would suck. I really don't know what should be done.

There are two versions of Smoke yet they are the same being. The same with Subzero and Noob. They are the same being but in two different forms. So unless there is only one Smoke then I believe that there shouls be the two different Subzeros and Noob Saibot.

This also raises the question of whether Noob Smoke is included. I believe they should be but I don't run the boot and immune game. So it'll be up to tgrant and a few others I suppose.

imo you should put only Smoke and Noob Saibot cause Smoke is only one being and noob saibot and classic sub zero are the same, so imo they should be only one, but that's just imo

I definitely agree with the one Smoke and no Classic Sub-Zero thing. The characters are better off not splitting their votes between multiple "selves." It just makes things simpler and more straight forward to only have one Smoke and one Sub-Zero.
