I think Mileena, and Nitara have just as much of a chance as everyone else whos left in the game... even better because they are not insanely popular. The really popular ones go because people get intimidated that their favorite character wont make it if they stay.

Maybe if we had it so only so many votes could be cast for a character per round it would make people happy?
round 1 = 1 boot vote per character
round 2 = 2
round 3 = 3
round 4 = 4
and so on, you get it

maybe that would stop some of the great characters who keep getting voted out have a better chance....

Sounds like a good idea, but to balance that out, the same number of immune votes per character would have to be cast. Plus, I think it would be way too complicated.

The game was ruined for everybody because of trolling. That led to the game being banned in the first place. I thought people would learn this time that trolling won't be tolerated in this game. Apparently not. As you said in an earlier game a few months back, Crow, people never change.

I just can not believe that Mavado has won, while Sub Zero has not...

As for Sub-Zero, he won the whole thing the first time around. So he doesn't need to win at all. It's votes that count at the end of the day. The majority don't want to se him win again.

As a matter of fact, Mavado and Sub-Zero did face each other in the final round of the last game. A few people believed that Sub-Zero did not deserve to win because he "already won the Grand Championship once", while characters like Kitana, Sindel, Scorpion, Smoke, etc. have won the game multiple times (one of the people voting for Mavado even said "Sub-Zero won the whole thing already", himself). To me, it's like, if you think someone who already won the Grand Championship should not win a Boot and Immune game again, you might as well lobby to have that character excluded from the list permanently.

However, upon further research, I did find that Sub-Zero originally got into the Grand Championship by winning the fourth game of the very first series. That was before the 24-hour final round rule was installed. So therefore, at the time, only SEVEN immune votes were needed to win the Final Round. Here's the link if you'd like to see it, yourself.

That means the only time Sub-Zero has ever won a 24-hour round to decide the winner of a game was the first Grand Championship, not a regular Boot and Immune game.

Bloodline, that's very interesting... I wasn't yet a member of this site for the first series, and I also am not of fan of the people that are against a character like Sub-Zero (and likely Shang Tsung next series) getting into the Grand Championship because they've already won it. I mean, the same characters are getting to finals of games for a reason. They have every right to be there as their opponent.

Where's Shang Tsung? I didn't see him in the champion list or the other list.

He's the reigning Grand Champion. He won the entire thing last time after Sub-Zero did. Shang basically sits out and enjoys his crown for the time being.

Yeah, the difference is I didn't single anyone out. My reply wasn't intended to be taken by any one person directly... it was just my opinion, and I wasn't in bad mood about it until you your friend came along... of course, since you quoted me and specifically directed your statements at me you were just singling me out... as always. I was referring to the characters, while you and Afghan were simply referring to me, as a person. There's a large difference. Sure, I degraded other characters with my comment... but I never said one word about people who like those characters. Of course, my opinion is "a little lame" and it's a "good thing I don't work on MK games" too, right? Take a look back at my reply and see if you can find any personally related statements. Wow, now im beginning to understand why people keep on saying this game cause so much drama. I still dont see how this game is that big of the deal. I mean, its just a game. I hope this game wont get banned again, we are so close to finishing where we left off.

You always post like you're the noble one but you're half the reason this game goes to shit and you're the reason I quit this game the first time around. I was tired of your whining and I was tired of being accused of booting characters just because you liked them. I booted them because I think they suck...which is the point of this game unless I am mistaken.

Either way I am done... I fucking hate dealing with you in this game. I don't understand why you don't just play it by yourself so that all the characters you think are so great can win.

Seriously guys, it's only a game. If anything get pissed when it's Grand Championship time. Maybe next time around we should have a MKO user boot/immune, how does that sound?

Why dwell on passed issues? Obviously none of us who have played this game back then are perfect, hence the games never resulting in anything more than bickering once they concluded. Even when the results are favoured by most (like this game) people still found something to complain about.

I didn't bring up the past here... you did that just now, not me. How does it relate to this new set of games? This argument had nothing to do with who I think are better characters... it was about you attacking my opinion because you don't like it. All I said was that every female I think deserves to win has already won... and you chimed in to let me know I was lame for feeling that way. How is that not a personal attack? How does it at all relate to what you responded with? So I guess what you're saying is that since we all have insulted each other here before we might as well keep on doing so, right?

Anyway, I don't feel like sitting around talking with you about issues that happened last year. They had nothing to do with this game I don't see why you feel the need to bring them up. I said nothing... not one word... this entire game about people booting characters because they don't like me. In fact, I didn't even really think or care about it.
