MKDA was the best MK game storywise. MKD was the second best, albeit much weaker.

Even though I voted for Sindel, I'm not surprised he won. Neither are generally that popular, but Sindel gained quite a few haters after MK(2011) because of the church massacre scene. Plus, his gameplay is much more accessible to casual fans in MK(2011).

Sareena gets my vote.

She's my second favourite MK character, and although i dont expect her to beat Subby here she still gets my vote.

She's such a well developed character for only being in the side games plus Armageddon. She really needs to make the roster of a main game tho to let her shine through and allow them to develop her massive potential.

I really wish people would vote Sareena on this one to stop Sub-Zero from winning this competition again. But I know what will happen. It'll be Noob, Raiden, Sub-Zero, and Ermac in the finals all over again because people like seeing the same things over and over again. That's why 24 lasted so long.

Whining like a sad little pup because [Sub-Zero] has apparently been that overwhelmingly successful isn't any kind of argument for Sareena. It's just... a bit pathetic. It's an argument for Sub-Zero.

Not being a whiney little punk is probably the preferred option, but if you're really gonna be stuck on voting for what you perceive to be a lesser character who will champion the down trodden against the tyranny of the prevalent popular choice... At least try to pretend you've got a point. Contribute something to support the alternative. Vote for something.

We're between games. Yes, this is a great time to start pondering what might be made of the unmined gold in less utilized options. It's also the perfect opportunity to take stock of the MK world as it actually is now. To measure things as they are before the next change. (Surely anything is better than 'wah wah he's popular.')

I played MKM fully for the first time in years recently and Sareena's involvement rubbed me the wrong way. Too damsel-in-distress-y, I was not impressed.

Sareena hasn't given a reason why she needs to be a returning character. She debuted in an adventure game who really didn't have a major role unless you "spared" her life after you beat her.

Her official debut as a playable character was on a handheld game, and actually came into the series in Armageddon where she featured absolutely nothing new except having one of the fastest projectiles in the game.

I may not get the huge fan base around this character (same with Tremor) but exactly why should she get the more votes than Sub-Zero, a character who's been in every game, had a game based on him, and had one of the most memorable fatalities that this series has had? (I could think of more reasons, but then it'll be a run-on sentence)

I can kind of see his point. Is there any real point of doing this tournament when a bunch of the characters don't exist any more and all the other character match ups will just end up being pretty predictable? I mean I guess it's a fun time waster but yeah.
