Well well... The fatality Idea Is real good. I suppose that Shang Tsung spilt Baraka in half and used this sorcerer power to remove the skin off Baraka's skull?

Anyways, I'm not saying It's bad, but it just needed more work on. Especially the ST sprite and the blood gushing out Baraka's body. And try to make Baraka look as if he was In pain and died brutally. Do better next time !!

Right then, this is definately one of your better fakes .
The general idea is pretty decent.
Here we go:
Things that could be improved slightly
- The effect on the skull is really the main thing, it's a little square, and made of one colour. The infamous "dot effect" I gather .
- I think the blood near Baraka's torso has flown a little far out, perhaps? Perhaps, the blood should be a little more "trailed".
- It is sort of weird how Shang's soul steal makes Baraka's torso come off, but there we go, it looks allright.
- The border around Shang works well, but if possible, a couple more colours could make it look like more of an effect or sorcerry.
- I think the green dots are not necessary really, or they should perhaps go toward the soul orb on his hand.
- The sprite edit is a little basic, try to incorporate a darker red for some shading on his vest thingy.
- My monitor is too dark (and it's on the highest brightness setting), so I can't tell if there are any shadows, but I've told you how , so just give them a go
- Imo, this fake could do with lifebars, I don't think it's that busy.
- One little thing, if Shang's head were facing Baraka's skull, then it would make it even better!

Good things:
+ You haven't overdone it on the blood.
+ Idea is decent
+ The weapon of Shang's is a nice touch.
+ The skull on Baraka is nice! Not sure if it's from another sprite or edited, but it's well done, or at least well placed .
+ You are most certainly improving.

As I said, you really are getting better, which is nice to see.

Ok, it didn't work at first for me either, I can see it now though. Well... its a good idea, I can defiantly tell you are increasing the amount of effort you put into your fakes. But if you are going to redo this as you said, there could be some points you could improve on.

I think this would be much improved if Shang Tsung was looking up at Baraka. If you cannot achieve this effect with this particular sprite, and you dont want to edit it that way, may I make the suggestion that you should use a MK2 Shang Tsung Sprite they have at the warehouse. I could really see this particular sprite fitting in alot better here, if you are at all interested in that idea, just PM me. Anyhow, you did a pretty good job on editing Shang Tsung's chest. The 'aura' around him could be done better if you use more colors though. And the 'soul orb' looks too much like a rounded square, and could use more color depth as well. The shadows, while I am glad you tried to input them, are a little odd, too stretched. And I do feel that lifebars and win tokens would actually make this better.

The blood effects are nice though, maybe can be refined some, but the blood is better here than on your previous work. Its overall one of your better pieces, keep up your improvement.

Its pretty cool. There is a little summtin wrong with it but i just cant explain. i give it a 4/5

DRFATALITY Im proud of you, you have showed me that you could really change for the better, as soon as I earn the right to get a new computer my fakes will better then MaxDam fakes nah i'll just improve more lol

The fake pic isn't bad I like the way you darken the screen, but I for some reson I like the way you added a effect on Baraka's head. The shangtsung sprite is not bad but the way you made it look like power is cirging from his body you just got a green color and drew around him I think you should work harder on the details but good effort for trying . The blood eh I don't really know what to say it would look better if you made his soul smashing his torso in half and going to Shangtsung since his the 1 who got the power. Lifebars will be better even though you don't ike it maybe if you make your backgrounds a little bigger they would fit. Overall im happy your taking your time and realizing what fake pics are all about
