For a while now I've "retired" out of the fake picture business. I guess I got bored with it, it was too time consuming, and I lacked the patients I once had. Which brings me to my next point.

For a while I've been trying to make a good Kai sprite but now I just don't care and I want to get it off my chest. I've only seen one other person try to create a 2D Kai, so I tried one myself. I even tried giving cage some-what of a MK4 look and a crazy Reptile's Lair 2D picture.

Maybe in the summer, when I get totally bored... I'll start again.

ANYWAY...

NOOOO! You can't stop making fakes! I won't let you! But that fake is really cool. The Kai sprite is fantastic and the background is amazing.

Very good work man, I really like the Kai sprite, the Reptile's Lair looks kool and everything else is fine.

PS: I got tired of making fakes, I agree with you with that "time consuming" thing.
I like it.

great job, but there is something i dont like about the kai sprite, i dunno what. well, definetly better than anything i can do... =/

The 2D Kai sprite is really cool. It looks posed like the actors were in the 2D one and it has a great overall 2D look of it. Very nice.

Nice sprites u got there.

The BG is not bad, just a rearrangement of the reptile's acid pit's textures from MK4strip and a palette swap of the stone from the MK2 tomb BG.

I like Kai alot, but his right arm doesn't look right.. I dunno why.

anyway, it's kool.

Well...The wins:00 text one of them r bigger than the other. Why is Cage blocking and Kai uppercutting the air, overall is a very cool fake but I know, I don't have time either since most of the time im working or at school.

The WINS:00 are right off of MK4. I never felt like resizing the game's mistake. Why is cage blocking? Why wouldn't he? He's about to get a fireball landed on his head. Kai uppercutting the air? what the hell?

sorry if I sound stupid, but I'm shocked!
it looks just like real MK3 sprites!
I was expecting some pretty cheap stuff,
but that's the best pic I've ever seen!
anyway, can I have the link to your site?
I love fakes a lot, mostly funny ones.
