Again, too much detail on small sprites. The Sub Zero one looks terrible, there's just too much going on to the point he looks blurry and just overdone. The Scorpion and Nitara sprites suffer from the same things as well. I will give you tons of props for being able to make such detailed sprites but the problem comes that these details just hurt the eye.

Fantastic brother. The only thing I really dont like is the ninja masks, but the detail on everything else is nearly flawless. Taking Johnny Cage and turning him into Quan Chi, now there's a task.

-apparently some sprites are courtesy of Arctic. However I did work out his armor and redone his head.

-to adress the above. Not while I live will I give into simple sprites.

Ah yeah, these are fantastic, even though some of the sub-zero's are not to my liking, 5/5, great job.

Wait what? you work over Artic sprites? Too much praise for you in that case. Edit: well I just noticed that you said that in your first post. Again too much details hurts my eyes. Try working on the shading instead.

what a coincidence i PMed Chrome to discuss about a MKA implemented on MKT, but it is only in pre-project state i have to see how hard it's going to be to brake the programming.

Chrome and Arctic are going down in MK fan art history with these amazing pieces. Personally I love how much detail is put into them. It makes them stand out

Depends on what sprite. Shang Tsung, Nitara, Sub-Zero, Scorpion are throroughly mine and made from sratch.

Quan Chi, Tanya, HOtaru are the only three so far which have a foreign sprite as a basis, as I could not find nor make a fitting one. I do not wish, deserve or ask for praise either. This is for solely MKO, Corel 8 and MS Paint itself.

Chrome, these sprites are fantastic! I'm a sucker for details, and yours are chock full of them!

No offense, but those sprites are too much detailed and that make them ugly.

No problem since every taste is subjective. I for example find the almost liquid fake sprites completely repulsive. It may have to do with me associating MK with the digitized pixellation.


KNOW THIS: if you think it is bad, then REDO it if you are willing. Thats the whole point of the thread.

17 new Hotaru sprites and a few new more, like a kicking Quan Chi and a happy ass Shang Tsung. I also made two sword wielding Scorpions more or less as a quickie should someone need one.

I also decided to take some requests alongside Arctic, so see his thread for me.

So here is another couple of updates, but I am still working on swapping Sonya to fatigues.. she may change in the next update. Working on Cage, the Red Terror, plus, as you may see it, on Kenshi.

I am considering taking up requests (except a request to stop) but I will still repair Hotaru and some other sprites first. Ta.
