One of the things I like about your drawings, they are always clean and clear. And very easy to view smile.

thats crazy sweet. Sub Zero looks absolutly perfect, as does Cyrax, but man subbys neck placement, and arm socket is flawless. I just wish you would have made Cyrax's arm pads bigger because i always pictured them being thicker than normal, but ur drawing not mine. The soul chamber is amazing too, thats crazy.
4.5/5
(so close to being the 2 5/5 ive given)

I agree with ACJ. grin

Plus the sig pic, and the avatar kick ass too.

You really should be working at a comic company with the talent you have.

If the ratings system were working this would have got a perfect score from me.

From the trickles of blood drawn realistically, to the sweat beads flying off of them and the smooth lines you use in your work it's well deserving of a 5 point ranking.

What kind of scanner do you use? Or what setting on curves do you use when scanning in your Artwork? I can never get as clean a scan as that when I scan my lineart in... confused

I have a hp scanjet 2200c scanner. Making clean drawings helps alot. ;)

Absolutely amazing as usual, JAX007. I wouldn't expect anything less, coming from you. smile
I'm not generally a fan of Cyrax, but I love the way you drew him in this piece, he looks very cool. He doesn't look nearly as clunky and/or ridiculous as he did in MKDA. tongue

Also, I'm near the point of getting tired of asking this - but, would you mind if I coloured this and submitted it to the site? grin

Awesome job, Jax007. Like the details a lot especially the bg. Can't wait to see this in color.

No, I don't use skeleton and I don't erase too often also.

Firstly, I like the submission. That throw has to hurt; an easy 5/5.

Secondly, your sig and avatar are kickass. Did you use color pencil?

Finally, about that skeleton thing mentioned earlier, you never use a stick figure construction base for your figures when you draw? If you were using one before, how long did it take you to get good enough to grow out of it.
It's just that I personally don't think I'd ever dump the construction phase no matter how good I get.

Once more, an amazing job you did there. that's gotta hurt judging by Subzero's head position after the impact. I really like the details that you did on Cyrax arms and his helmet. 5/5

Oww, my spine!

I don't know what I like better the characters or the soul chamber. That's the best interpretation of that thing I've ever seen.

Sub's right hand is a little odd but other than that no complaints. Cyrax has even got your usual curved bone style. wink Looked like you were departing from that for a bit.

Beautiful

That is an excellent line drawing. You maintained a nice sense of movement in the figures. The background is also handled well. Instead if giving us a large, sprawling (i.e. overpowering) arena, you chose to give a small glimpse of it. This does not overshadow the combatants but I’d say adds to them. Wonderful job smile. 5/5 dragons.
