Its not bad. The power effect looks decent. One minor change I would make is the placment of kang's shadow.

I like this one alot better than the Kano one. Love the idea of Ermac stealing the soul of Liu Kang. Nice touch of adding the statues of the original Shang Tsung and Goro next to Kahn. Very nice job 4/5.

I think this is the best one you've done. I like how its focused on 2 characters only. The effect done to lui kang is pretty good. I also liked the 2 statues you added in the background of goro and shang tsung. Nice job.

Good job. But the Tsung and Goro statues completely clash the entire fake, maybe you want to add them far from the bg. The screen should be darken. I probably would have made the Soul transparent or maybe with more effects for example the fake I made:

The energy effect looks great.

The statues don't seem to fit in the scene though, they are too bright and it makes it hard to focus on what's important.

Ermac and Liu.

I would give the statues a stand, and maybe move Goro to the right some, so he is even with the placement of shang tsung.

I think the crack lines are too thick. I would try a .1, or .2 brush size and see how that looks. Just to try and see if it looks more real.

The glow around Ermac and Liu could be a bit stronger. It's a little hard to see now.
I would also experiment with the clouds filter to give the glow another touch.

I used the Cloud filter in Photoshop to make the souls around shang in this fake.





Another thing you could try is giving Ermac some green highlights on his body as if the Energy from his hand was shining on him.
