Definately one of the best fakes I've seen in a long time.
I guess the background is a little simple, and the lifebars could be more like the game, but everything else is like spot on!
The blood, is perfect. The edits are flawless.
What else can I say, it's excellent!

Wow, you really need to submit your things here more often, this is excellent work to say the least. I actually like the lifebars, they are quite nice, and extremely well done. Though, if you wanted the total MKDA feel, you could have added the style bars and pictures of the characters, but none of that is of too much importance.

The sprite edits are just wonderful, this is one of the best Nitara sprites I've ever seen personally, its truely flawless. If you did the lighting work on her wings, than I give you major props there. The Kamas look good as well, and the blood that has been left on them is great. The Johnny Cage sprite is also very good, the top half of his sprite is wonderful. You added all the little things about that outfit like the bandages, and his name on his pants. Though, the name could be a bit larger, but I could be wrong there. The bloodwork is very nicely done as well, though it might be just a little much in excess, but I personally like the amount you used.

The BG, its a bit too simple, but its not too bad, it all fits together nicely. I don't see any shadows, but I guess it wouldn't matter since the background itself is rather dark. Its very good, defiantly a great fake.

Actually, There are shadows. It's pretty much hard to see because the background is very dark.
And yes, I did make the shadings on her wings.

I have mix feelings about the sprites it looks like you got actual MKDA pics of Nitara and Cage and you pasted it on to the bg and edited here and there =/ also it looks like Nitara has more than 2 wings

I didn't use ANY MK:DA screenshots in the picture.
Everything is edited by me, I used only sprites from the old 2D MK's.

Aside from all the blurriness of the fake, that is fucking awesome. You did one hell of a job on Nitara. This fake is nearly flawless. I don't really have the time to go into detail riht now.

I still feel, even after your claim, that you used MK:DA renders and/or screenshots to create this image. I, however, have had to deal with the behind-my-back criticism from people like Potent_Seed about my MK:DA Reptile sprite. If you can tell us exactly what characters from MKII you used to create these two sprites, then I may believe you, depending on just how convincing you are. I'll then critique the image and give you an overall score.

I can say now that Cage looks a tad too big compared to Nitara, and the head on Nitara looks like a direct ripoff of one of her renders.

I myself can say he did indeed edit the sprites. Ive seen the base sprites and the "in progress" sprites that have half of the sprite edit and the other half not. The work is amazing but seems abit to blurry to me, even the high quality one. The backround is, well...:-\

Overall 9/10. Also, Venomark, glad to see you are still around. I hope to see some work from you sometime in the near future.

The hands were totally made by me, because none of the sprites had that big jacket part.
Her head was made 100% by me. You can ask MKRocket, he has seen the progress of her head.
I'm pretty much happy I'm hearing stuff like that, my picture looks good.

Personally, I think this fake is great! And I really like the Nitara sprite. Good job! :)

I love Cage as well, but it's just a picture. Don't get so defensive.

It's very, very well done. The blood is nicely executed. The shading is perfect, and the sprites are very detailed. The background is dark and blurry, but I like it because of that. This peice of art is very, very nice. I'll give it 4 dragons.

Man, this is the stuff I miss. Good fakes, good critiques, etc. Heh, times like this I wish NengoneN was around more on a constant basis. I can't believe I missed commenting on this all those years ago, must have been when I went into hiatus or something.

All in all, this fake is still great, even by my present day point of view.
