the kamidogu were shatered, onaga was slain. i only wished to live the rest of my life atoning for my mistakes. with the outworld in caos, the wind god fujin and reluntantly the thunder god raiden allowed me to return to outworld and act as a lookout for any threats that may come. there i encountered a being of fire that had lost his memmory and asked me to retreave a potion that would restore it. having my experence with talking fireballs i was relutent to help. but since it seems that people ask me for everything from finding kamidogu to delievering letters they wrote to themselves i agreed. after completing my task the stranger drank the potion and after regaining his reason for being in outworld, he told me that he was blaze and that another conflict was to come in only three months time. when i inquird further he told me that the forces of darkness were gathering to make war on the realms and violate further the rules of mortal kombat. angered i asked him nearly screaming why is it in my old age the eldergods torment me after so much pain i lived through. he only said 'if all gose according to plan your deadliest adviscaries would all die' i reported back to raiden and fujin and they looked at me as if someone had killed all the eldergods and other deities besides them. fujin said that he was bested by a half god of edenia just after onaga was bested by scorpion, jax and myself.

i returned to outworld only to be imprisoned once again by my former friend hotaru and the tarkata baraka. with there men they thought i had no way to excape but the opposite was true, i could have killed most of them in one attack but allowed myself to be captured so i could learn who there master was. i was shocked when i was brought to see the most surprising gathering of villians i ever saw, and that is saying something. the emperor shao kahn, his former master onaga who i swore died at the hand of me and my allies, the deadly aliance shang tsung and quan chi, the fallen elder god shinnok, lucifer the fallen angel, havik, mileena, tanya, noob saibot, sector, kano, mavado, a man named deagon and a host of minions under there dark rule. i was tortured for there amusement beaten and bloodied i defeated all who fought me alone. then they threw me in the dungon to wait for my exacution. the last unfortunate person before me was killed before a young man who i was unable to reconise from my travels entered and was attacked by the demons that guarded them and slautered them like cattle. he recovered from the body of the largest of the beasts the key to my cell. a asked him to release me but he asked me how he knew i wasn't an enemey. i was only able to give my word and told him of what i planed to do.

i was far from surprised to see a look of humor on his face. i would have been sceptical at his age too if some old man told me he was trying to kill shao kahn. but he released me and we formerly introduced oursevles to one another. he told me his name was taven and that he came to kill quan chi. it seems that scorpion is not the only one who wants that soccerers head on a plater. i told him that he should leave because i could not guarintee his safety. he said something elise but i was too farr to hear him. we meet up in the throneroom they had gone before we entered to make final plans in edenia. i was in outworld over a month maybe even two. liu kang and the others were gathering warriors for the final battle and i offered him a chance to join us. he declined saying that he had to find quan chi and deagon and kill them and he went through the portal. i traveled to edenia where raiden, fujin and the others agreed to meet. they knew about the larger deadly aliance that was formed but not the size of the army. when i told them they all seemed upset, at me for the most part. like it was my fault........again. it has been nearly three months and we only had a few days to prepare. raiden and i may have our differences but one thing that we agree on is that armageddon must be prevented. should we fail, it will be the end all worlds and all our efforts would be for a vain cause. it no longer matters if i die, knowing that the universe is safe will be enough to have my soul rest. but the future is still unrecorded and perhaps the elder gods had a plan that included me in some way. i can only hope that we vanquish the dark forces and restore the realms to a stable state. to you i say good luck and may the eldergods be with you, your going to need it.
