This is a story set after Deception................ The moon lit the wastelands of Outworld, casting mysterious shadows across the realm while up from the Black Tower, its Queen gazed down at her newly found kingdom. It is unsure how long she stood there, the past few days replaying in her mind, until her King had entered her chamber. His footsteps fell like thunder on the cold marble floor. Onaga walked towards the window Li Mei had been gazing out through and said, 'Isn't it magnificent? The entire realm is ours to rule, together, forever.' Li Mei did not respond. It was only now that she has truly realised what she had done. She had helped Onaga defeat many of the realms finest warriors. She had witnessed their destruction. And she liked it. As she thought about the battle that had raged before, she smiled. It had been the warrior known as Kenshi who was the first to fall, the swordsman and that Lin Kuei had charged at Onaga, both charging attack. Sub-Zero tried to freeze Onaga but the dragon Kind merely shook it off and kicked him across the arena. As this was happening Kenshi had tried to telekinetically throw Onaga into the spikes that lined the platform but his powers were too weak and had little effect on him. Onaga lifted him up and threw him into the spikes. Bo' Rai Cho was next to fall as he and Shujinko tried to attack him using their martial arts skills. They were both great fighters, but not strong enough. Sub-Zero was using his kori powers to prevent Onaga from attacking them. Li Mei was not attacking Onaga though, she slipped into the shadows to watch the fight. As she hid, she noticed that the Queen of Edenia, Sindel had begun smashing strange artifacts around the arena. had she gone mad? But as she smashed each one, Onaga stumbled. And then Li Mei realised that these were the source of his power. She snuck up behind Sindel and grabbed her, but Sindel was ready for her, she clearly saw what none of the others had. Sindel knew that Li Mei was not to be trusted. She could see it in her eyes. The battle raged for what seemed like an eternity. Only four survived the battle. Li Mei, Onaga, Sub-Zero and Sindel. Sub-Zero had froze Onaga when Sindel and him where the only warriors left and after they had witnessed Li Meis betrayel. While the Dragon King was frozen, the two escaped the palace. Because Sindel had smashed three of the Komidogu, Onaga good only create a tool half the power of that which he had intended but it was still a tool capable of merging three realms into one instantly. Onaga had merged Outworld, the Netherealm and Chaos Realm into one. To free the realms the one Kamidogu would have to be destroyed. Li Mei looked back at the Dragon King. She was worried but thought she better not show it. She wanted to ask Onaga a few questions, perhaps she could gaurentee his success with information. 'Onaga, a word of caution, you have only encountered a handful of warriors which could prove to be your demise. Now that Ermac and Liu Kang have helped the warriors defeated during the Deadly Alliance back to help, your life is at much greater risk.' 'Fear not, my Queen. These warriors are no match for me or you. Now with the power from the Kamidogu, we are the most powerful beings in existence, nothing can stop us. 'I know the where Queen Sindel may be. I know how much you want to destroy her after what she did to the rest of the Kamidogu.' said Li Mei.. 'Then I suggest you tell me...' 'If I am correct Sindel is in Earthrealm. You and I both know Earthrealm is the most powerful of all the other realms and our power is weakened in that realm.' 'Earthrealm? Hardly surprising, prepare yourself for battle, we are going to Earth to once and for all end the lives of all those who oppose us.' The next few days where full of plans and preparation. Li Mei wanted to know if Onaga would be succesful but something deep down inside her told her that he would die and she would pay for her betrayel. When Onaga and his forces entered the realm of Earth they were greeted by an army of warriors, some he recognised from the recent wars, some he recognised as those he had resurrected to serve him and many he did not know. An enormous battle raged and many of the warriors from each side were slain. Only a few remained in the end. Li Mei had fled from the battle. She knew that by staying with Onaga she would die. She couldn't return to the side of good, she bacame a rogue warrior, wandering the realms in regret of ever helping Onaga. Word had spread that Onaga had been defeated by the finest warriors Liu Kang, Raiden, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Sindel, Jade, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Jax and a few others Li Mei did not know but apparently had fought alongside these warriors before. Nobody knows what became of Li Mei, some say she died, some say she wanders the newly freed realms, some say she is in the netherealm, searching for a master, but one thing is certain, she will pay for her betrayel......
