I propose a fan fiction game
Cory began chuckling.
"I'm not just a toy of the One Being. I am his servant, his right hand man. He wouldn't just throw me away like some garbage." Cory was getting more hesitant every sentence. "He wouldn't do that. No. I was always there to complete the job. Right?... It can't be true.
Keith quirped "it is true, admit it."
It dawned on Cory "It is true. Then you know what you're worshipelness!? Forget You!!! I am not a servant to you any longer!!!" It was a nice day so far outside, but suddenly clouds drew together, and lightning crakled. A torrent of rain begain to fall.
"You know nothing fools. I am the ultimate. You can't just deny me, you can't leave me. For your incompetence you will pay!" A bolt of lightning started coming out of the sky, but before anybody could react, Raiden was standing there with his hand out reflecting it away from everybody.
After a few tense moments of Raiden reflecting more lightning, and still more coming at him, it suddenly stopped. The sun came out and all the clouds left.
Keith said "I guess he got bored. He'll be back, you can count on it."
But, after Raiden had undoubtley saved Cory's life, he realized that death, and destruction wasn't that great. Slowly Cory began to faze out and return to Keith. "Can I ask of you just one thing? If I ever become dark Keith, don't ever refer to me as Cory. I don't want me to lose my mind and become him or whatever."
Mage and may began to phase together "eventually you will have to except him, but all right keith" they finally returned to the mortal realm. Mage held both her gods "if either of you do this again I will kill you" she said laughing and crying "I need you both I know it"
"I guess you're right" Keith said. But until then, I want him to be just a member of the past. And don't worry, if this happens ever again I'm not going anywhere." Fujin then said "Come on everybody, we have to go back to the arena, we have to announce, Mage the winner, and we all get to go home, except for us gods." "Nah, you guys could have fun, I need to go back to my apartment, say goodbye to all my friends, and then i'll meet all of you at the Wu Shi academy in two weeks. But I'll be here to see mage named the winner. Let's go."
Mage was just looking on Raiden put his hand around her shoulder "something wrong?" he asked softly Mage sighed "just some envy I guess, kieth has friends to say goodbye too, I don't" she looked at raiden "I only have you guys"
The whole group walked back to the arena, but Keith noticed Mage walking slowly and looking sad.
"What's the matter, you look all sad?"
Mage sighed "its nothing, just some envy, see all of my friends are dead, you are lucky you still have a few to say goodbye too"
"Ohh sorry. I guess I'm lucky... in some sense. Well, you have friends here. Plus, I won't be gone for toooo long." Keith said with a smile.
The whole group walked up to the arena, but before they could see it, there was smoke. And an orange glow.
"You've got to be kidding me!!!" Keith zipped over to the arena, the whole thing was ablaze. When he turned around, a black shadow hit him and he went flying. He crashed through rubble and he heard this voice.
"Not your master huh? Next time, it'll be all off your precious New York, and your little girlfriend." "NOOOOO!!!" "Shh, just go to sleep." And everything blacked out.
Mage snarled "ok you sob where are you, and no he isn't yours anymore, and you will be mine" she drew her blades and felt the shadow "oh really, your little boys are no match for me and you should have taken my offer when you had the chance" Mage struck with a mental frenzy, and the creature screamed "you fool" she barked "stick with your latest puppet, stick with the fallen one because your allies are no longer here"
As soon as Mage said that, the shadow dissappeared with one chilling sentence. "When the time is right, my puppet will leave you all to die."
Mage ran to everyone, thankfully no one was killed...yet...
Reptile came running "what happened to you guys" mage shook her head "long story"
Mage began to pace "I think we need to help keith first" she said everyone nodded, her and raiden ran to keith's side, krogen following
When Keith woke back up, Raiden,Mage, and Krogen were surrounding him, while Reptile and Stryker were behind them looking around.
"where is he! I'm gonna kill him! Everybody get back!" "He's gone" Raiden said.
"I'm going to sleep. Tommorow, we announce the winner, and I'm going home."
Keith went off to his room.
Mage nodded "we should all rest" she looked at everyone "and maybe tomorrow I can show everyone new york while keith says goodbye" she said smirking, reptile shrugged "how the hell are you going to get me in that city..." he started and mage put up her hand "rep, new york is full of freaks weirder then you, I think you will fit in just fine" she said smiling
Keith's dreams were troubled. He was in New York, but it was burning. Everywhere he went he saw people dead, and things on fire. And omniously hovering above was the black shadow. Fire was shooting from it. But Keith kept walking. There was a blue shimmering over the next building. As he walked around it, it was a huge block of ice. It covered a city block, but it was hollow and he saw people inside of it. They were all Lin Kuei. And he saw them mercieslly killing everyone he considered friends. Each time he punched the ice, it cracked, but the fire intesified. He also noticed he was mortal again. He started punching it with all of his might, it cracked, but it didn't break. The fire was right behind him now and he could feel himself burning away. But the black shadow moved towards him and started whispering in his ears "just surrender yourself to me, and I'll let you break the glass and destroy all of them. Watch them do it. Feel hatred, let me in." But keith remembered about all of what happened the past few days. Now he realized he was stuck in his dream. He knew to refuse, but the fire felt so real. He screamed out, but no one could hear. He had to let it through, but he couldn't. He had realized what he had to do. He turned around, and walked into the fire. The last thing he heard was "noooooooooooooo fooooooool!" Then he woke up to complete darkness.
Mage couldn't sleep and sensed something, she ran to keith's room. It was dark but she could see his eyes shining in the darkness, the mark of the gods, the souless eyes...
"keith" she whispered into the darkness "are you ok?"
Keith took a long time to respond. He didn't even know. What had happened? He felt normal before he went to sleep but now, he had no feeling. Not tired, not groggy, not hungry, and he felt the presence of the one being. Was that why it was so dark? he didn't know. What he did no, was that he felt no emotion.
"I don't know"
Mage walked in and found keith, sitting upright staring blankly "this is not good..." she thought and teleketically summoned raiden "keith, what was your last dream" she whispered taking his hand
He still sat there trying to sum up what had just happened. He then heard Mage talking to him through his mind.
"My last dream was different. There was fire everywhere, all of New York. People were dead, everywhere. They were killing everyone I had ever called a friend." Keith tryed to stand up, but his legs wouldn't budge, something was holding him down. He could feel the one being's presence more now. It was in this room. He could feel it staring at him. He couldn't get away. But oddly, he felt no fright, or anger. He didn't even feel angry or sad telling the dream. What was wrong with him? He had to stand up, to step out of the room, just to breath fresh air. But he couldn't see anything, but he felt it there.
Mage knew right away what was wrong and stood, one hand on keith, she felt raiden near, she closed her eyes and sent this message "stay where you are until I needed then teleport to keith's room" she then looked into the darkness "one being I know you are here" she hissed "He is no longer your puppet, do I have to send you a reminder of the pain I can cause you if you harm either of my gods or any of my friends" she snarled "leave before I strike" she looked at keith and gently said "its only a paralatazion of the mind, once this darkness is gone you should be fine" she said gently "I feel the dream, instead of surrendering to the shadows you walked into the fire, you did the wise thing, your strings are severed" she said softly "now this thing feels if he can not have you, I shall not either" she looked into the darkness again "I told you to LEAVE!" she send out a stronger mental shock wave and heard a screech that peirced the night then silence, the moon from keith's window shone into the room once more.
As the moon came through the window, Keith felt himself being able to move his legs again. He stood up. He was going to thank Mage for helping him out, but he felt no happiness. Something was different. He didn't feel right. He didn't feel anything.
Mage shook her head "well the physical part is done but I might have to jog the emotional part a bit" she said as she held keith tight "besides I bet you would want this anyways" she said before kissing keith, determined not to let go until she got a reaction
Keith stood there, wondering why he didn't feel anything. This was wat he always wanted, and yet nothing. He felt something very warm in his head, but other than that, he was stone cold. But the warm started to spread through his body. After a good two minutes, he felt very happy, very alive. He pulled back. And looked into the mirror. He longed perfectly normal. But one thing unnerved him, his eyes.
Mage saw keith's reaction to his eyes (not that she could blame him) and called raiden in right away
Raiden stared at keith for a time, then sighed "of course..." she muttered mage cocked her head to one side "of course what?" she said, checking the mirror herself, her eyes where normal...
"its normal for someone when they become a god to lose all emotions for a time..." he said softly "at that time they gain the one thing that marks them" Mage shuddered "those souless eyes" she then drew back "then that will..." raiden nodded "yes... and judging by keith's quick change, it won't be too long" Mage just fainted...
Keith dove to Mage and propped up her head on one of his pillows. "SOMEONE GET SOME COLD WATER!!!! That will what? That will what!?!?!?"
Raiden grabbed keith "CALM DOWN" mage came too "who was shouting?" she asked, she looked at keith "what raiden said happened to you will happen to me is what I was going to say" she said shaking her head "I fainted because I really don't want that to happen"
Raiden sighed "its a part of god hood I am afraid, for a time you become stiff, emotionless..." raiden sighed "its temporary and usually a strong emotional shock can speed recovery" mage looked at keith and raiden "then when it happens to me, I want you both to kiss me on the neck" she smirked
