At the moment, I have Photoshop 7 and Paint shop Pro 6 on my computer. Should I get rid of one?

Why? They are both useful. I've 3 photo editors installed in my pc, and I still use all of em...it depends what you have to do...each one has something that the other doesn't.

A lot of things; it's somewhat of a steep learing curve. Even though it can do a lot and has add- ons on the net here and there, I still don't think it's worth 600 bucks. I got if off of Kazaa...

Is true as some 1 that sells electronics, I went to COMUSA and it cost 700 something because it comes w/ a lot of things.

That's why you get a student to buy it for you ;) Any idea how big of a discount they give you? And once you buy the base program the Upgrades are nominal in comparison as far as price goes, Even More so if you get the student discount.

Unless space is an issue on your HD, I'd keep them both. Hell, if space IS an issue just invest in a CDR *giggle*

Photoshop is about $350 for students at my school store. Most of the software at college stores is about 50% off for students, I believe.
