Cool! I like it. If it were a submission, I would give it 5/5.

Now, I am no fan of Superman and I have always thought his outfit looks cheesy as hell. However, I do like what you have done with it. I have but one thing I would like to change and that would be to lose the red panties and give him all blue pants instead, like they did with him in Injustice.

But as usual, you did a good job and made some nice artwork, EK. ^^

Thanks Raven!! I was debating whether or not to leave the red tights out, but i put them in anyway just to see how they look.

I don't mind the red trunks in the comics, but being the shape of a banana hammock definitely doesn't work. Thongs on dudes are creepy. Kinda reminds me of how kinda-inappropriate Nu52 Supergirl's outfit looks with the little red shield shape right over her crotch like a big sign that says "DIRECT YOUR EYES HERE".

The rest is pretty cool though...if a little too elaborate. Personally, I've always thought superhero costumes should be as simplistic as possible, simplicity is a key ingredient to memorability and achieving "iconic" status. But for an alternate universe that's trying to be Mortal Kombat-y, I suppose elaborate armor fits.
As a side note, I like that the belt actually looks like a belt. I've seen a LOT of Superman redesign art and the biggest problem with almost all of them is people keep changing the belt into a bunch of weird stripes and/or a belt buckle that's not connected to anything at all, just a big metal shape sitting on his stomach all goofy-like. Hell, even the new movie is doing that and I just don't get why anyone thinks that looks like it makes any sense, even for aliens' clothes. I mean, he needs something there, all that blue from chest to knees, nothing to break it up? It would just look weird and probably make his junk stick out, which is one of the reasons I prefer him with red trunks in the first place, but they should actually make it a real belt. Even on Krypton, I'm sure people have no use for belt buckles with no belt, just randomly glued to their waist. I mean what, does it unclip and store shit inside like a locket? Maybe what Krypton really needs is to invent pockets.

Thank you very much Razor!! I have seen that floating belt buckle too in some redsigns and it does seem weird just floating there now that I think about it.
