You really should take a tutorial or something on lighting basics. The highlights look completely random and unrealistic.

I like it alot, though the colours ressemble Kenshi too much...
Instead of black, maybe a dark blue would make a good difference...

That's just my oppinion... Anyway, then I like this character concept of Suit's!!!

Actually...

"This character, I obviously made up, is named Kaiser. He is a servant of Shang Tsung. He is very loyal and so, stitched his mouth shut to never talk back to his master. Thats why he wears a cloak which covers his mouth. Kaiser was still a embryo in his mothers womb before he went through his transformation. His mother died while he was still growing inside his mothers womb. He was at the verge of dying until Shang Tsung saved him and raised him to be a great warrior/bodyguard."

This is quoted from The_Suit's original drawing, so yes he does have a name and a story even. I do hope you obtained The_Suit's permission to color this. Anyway, as Hyuga said and you obviously noted yourself, the shading and highlights are very random indeed. You did a decent job at preserving the original details of the face, his eyes still have that look I liked from the drawing originally. I don't like the color choices so much really, the dark red is nice I suppose, but I would have liked to have seen more emphasis on the stiches which were my favorite part of this originally.

The skin tone is nice, pale, which fits this character I believe. His right hand is far too shadowed though. Also, look at his fingers, you colored in a space between them that should have been left open. The sword is so-so, I don't like the color of the handle particularly.

As I said, I would have liked to see a lot more emphasis on the small details on the attire. There is a small skeleton looking object in the opening near is torso, but really you just colored over it. Anyhow, make sure you have the permission of the original author before you color the work and display it publicly.
