Lets Create A Character - Good Chaosrealmer Female

Back in the "now ceased thread" about making "Chrome," I made a suggestion that we should all collaborate on making our very own character TOGETHER... since no one put in any thought to actually make that character. I thought, since obviously this site could care less and don't want to see it ever come to life, why not do something different then and make up our own character together?

So, I figured we could make one created character with actual moves and a story and other stuff. Since I've done various voting threads in the past, I guess this could be a voting thread to come up with various ideas? We'll get more detailed later on such as designing concepts for it once we have a basic look for the character as well as figuring out who would like to do that.

I guess the first question really is this for our character:

I'd say female. Most of my favourite characters in fighting games are women, so female has my vote.

Also, though it isn't up yet, I REALLY wouldn't want it to become another "ninja" character.

and for once id like to see one who isnt in their mid to late 30s and with breast implants.

there are so many teenage martial art athletes who can kick ass... why not show some youth in MK? maybe 18 to 23 years of age since MK is rated M.

I'm going with male. Although the majority says female, I believe I would be able to relate more with a male fighters.

As much as I would like a male, I know MK needs more women, so I'm going to say female.

Besides, females tend to be more fun to create, anyway.

I might reduce it to two days instead of three seeing how there's been a good majority of users inputing. So far we're aiming for a female so let's see if there's anymore users that want to input their vote over night and into the next day.

I am also going to have more categories for the next part so that we're not stuck dealing with one thing at a time. Start thinking on their alignment and where they originated from.

I'm pretty sure Li Mei and Frost are supposed to be in their late teens or early 20's.

And I don't think the MK9 girls (except Sindel and maybe Sheeva) are supposed to look so old, it's just that NRS is really bad at 3D modelling, y'know? Everyone's skin looks like hard leather. Sonya's MK1 bio said she was 26.

I'd keep it on-topic and vote, but I'm undecided. Female fan-creations are more prone to developing into Mary Sues, but the franchise has plenty of dudes already, so I really could go either way. So I'll skip this round, but I like the idea of the thread and will surely participate in the next category.

I should tell you about my dear Kali.

Kali is the goddess of vegetation, and protector of Seido. She is a dictator of massive proportions and is the source of Seido's strict rule. Hell bent on maintaining order, Kali requested to be placed as the protector of Seido and became the first deity to establish a political and social agenda within a realm.

Kali is not at all above torture for the sake of order, but has a slightly less grab towards murder. Nevertheless, she will seek satisfaction by any means necessary. Despite her near-evil methods regarding protecting Seido, she is revered for nevertheless managing to bring Seido out of chaos.

Kali believes it is her duty to bring order to all realms. She plans to eventually restore order to the Earthrealm, Outworld, and ultimately, the Chaosrealm.

Kali's name is derived from the Hindu goddess Kali, who is actually the goddess of time, as well as the goddess of destruction. Kali literally means "time" and "the black one," which is a reference to the eternal flow of time. This is manifested in the Seido goddess' all-black attire, as well as her obsession with order, which itself can be a representative of eternity.

Are ALL realms available? Because then I'd like to see her be part of either Chaosrealm or Orderrealm. Mostly Chaosrealm...

Yes, any realm is available. I don't feel that we need to be restricted to just several realms. Heck, even if you want to, you can make up your own as well.

Then I choose the Chaosrealm. ^^
I quite like the whole Order VS Chaos aspect and how ambiguous they are, especially how it was presented in MK. Order doesn't equal good, seen at how Hotaru, Dairou and Darrius acts in MKD's storyline. So far we have only seen Havik from Chaosrealm, so it would be cool to see another character from there to show the other aspect of people from there.

Hotaru was from the Orderrealm but served evil. I'd like to see an opposite of him. But at the same time she's a stubborn bad ass who will do what it takes to get her way... oh that's all women.

I'll vote Earthrealm as her origin. Off the top of my head Sony Frost and Kira are the only female Earthrealm characters, and Sonya's the only one who is a staple character in the franchise. So another one would be a good idea I think.

BTW - how is a bounty hunter ever considered a "good" alignment?
