First, you need to have shadows. Even on Mars things cast shadows.

Second, the edges are blurred on all of the sprites because when you resized them, they became anti-aliased.

Interesting concept, but it's sort of poorly done.
2.5/5, just because the idea is new to me.
The idea is cool. The characters need shadows and I don't think they could be standing since there isn't much gravity force as it is on Earth.
2.5/5 Dragon Points.

Peace.
What is the gravity on mars compared to earth?

Thanks guys. As I said in another thread this is my first mk fake. I am fimiliar with how to use photoshop for photo editing but am new to using it for things like this. I am wondering about the positions and directions of the shadows.

its nice, the sprites are in good condition, and the smaller ones actually arent all smudged up, but yeah it needs shadows, besides that its really good, four and a half out of five dragons
It's probably best you read my reply to your other fake first, as it outlines some of the things you need in this one, but still here goes:

As mentioned, shadows needed, it will make this seem *more* realistic.

But, this is just simply sprites pasted onto a photo, and that is really uninspiring (unless you made the photo of course wink, but this is not the case).

A secondary thing is some of the sprites you actually used.
The best example here is:
Sonya is in her throw position. If she is throwing somebody, they should be flying over in a sommersault (aka MK1), but Goro is flying upwards and backwards. His head should be first, and he should be rotating in a sommersault fashion. To illustrate it best, play MK1, or even MK3 as her throw is pretty much the same thing there.

Add something new to this, like editing the sprites, have on character performing a new fatality on another, and obviously add things such as the shadows and this could be at least a decent "fake" smile.

Like the other fake you recently posted, I shan't give a rating as you said you'll redo it, so I will rate it then smile.
Good luck with that.

not sure if this was inteded to be a war? or a one-on-one fight, hence all the characters?

well first you need to studdy the "real" MK arenas before making your own,

it looks like everything is slaped on a flat picture a ground.

all MK stages have a "path" well at least 1-3 (before the 3d games)

they all have a place for the fighters to walk on back and forth.

the BG is WAY to plan and boring, theres no structures or not that you have to have them, but you need something back there,

2/5
