hmmm what the hell is that big black mass between his legs :P i mean, There needs to be a bit more definition there. And those white blotch's added with MS Paint Air Brush, And his eyes are...gone. Other that that it looks OK.

That black part is part of his pants. If you remember that he had black pants with red along the sides that came down and around his legs. And I didn't use MS Paint. I Colored him entirely in Adobe Photo. And his eyes are there, look closer. His eyes are narrow, and with his expression they're squinted. Plus figure in shadowing.

He should look asian, but in that art of yours he looks more western. Well done though.

I like it. I like it alot. But you could of gave him black hair and that, "chinese" look on he's face. - I'm not saying its bad...It just needed more work smile.

Well his hair is dark brown, I mean not all Asians have black hair, I personally met some with dark brown hair. So just because he's Chinese it doesn't mean his has to have jet black hair. For instance, look at Jackie Chan, his hair is dark brown, not black and he's Chinese. glasses

Very excellent work; a definite 5 out of 5.

The only thing wrong I can see is with the pants. If you weren't going to shade them like the rest of the drawing, and keep them as the mostly black mass they were, then the overline indicating which leg is in front of the other should be complete white. But then again, I'm sure that you simply forgot about that while in the process(I don't mean that in a bad way).

I'll give you the same advice as I gave Bleed, since I know computer coloring can be time-consuming. If you can shade well, then scan an already shaded(but cleaned up) drawing into the computer. In the program you're using, there should be a layer mode or all around mode that allows you to put some color to the pre-shade drawing, therefore preserving your work while making it look better. I don't know what program you use, but if it's either Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, then I have a starting tutorial for you:

http://www.sofos.com/adi/tutorial.htm

The tut should work both ways.....

Well, fantastic drawing, and I hope I helped somehow....
Why care about people if they're not bloody and on your carpet right now?

I like it, but I think he needs more detail. Like make a lot of wrinkles in his shirt, bandana, and pants. You also need to work on his face. The bone structure around the eyes, and cheeks is off a bit. The cheek bone lines should go down lower.

I think you just drew the cheek bones too high, they look like the eye sockets. Also you don't need to draw the entire shape of the nose, just a few essential parts like the bottom, and where the brow connects.

Ummm, This is just a preference of mine, but I would like to see his hair curving around the front of his neck, a little, so it looks more 3D, and it gives it more volume.

I made a drawing of Liu Kangs torso, so you can see what I mean about the details, when it gets posted.

You need more work on coloring. Make better use of lights and darks, and try do make it so if you look at the color with the drawing lines hidden so you don't see the pencil.

Make it so the color still holds it's own by it self, like an oil painting.

You did a very nice job with his hands, but his right thumb looks too stubby.

For the most part, your anatomy is good, but you should double check how the Saratus (spiky looking muscle on side of ribs), and the Lotisimus dorsy (big back muscle) connect.

You got that part wrong.

I don't mean to sound picky, but you, know bliss is in the details.

That's all I have to say, but it is an above average drawing, I do like it a lot.

Nice job. wink

axeman61 that technique sounds easy, and looks amazing. I think I'm going to try it for my next pic.

I had forgotten that you told me about that before.

yeah this drawing wasn't my best, first time coloring it by computer. After it was done I thought to my self that the color looks a bit anime. lol I did it this way just to see how it comes out. I did have a thought about the pencil shading first, but in this drawing I wanted to see the outcome in an entire computer coloring. I'll admit that it didn't come out great, but for it's limits it came out pretty decent. Blood, I'm not familiar with your terms on the back. tongue Doing body building the parts I'm familiar with that are visible in the picture are Trapizious muscles with connect the neck and delts, and your latteral muscles with are your "wings", so in lamens terms, which back mucles you refering to? Shoot bro even I have big back and trapps. :-p hehehehe

The latts are called "latissimus dorsi".

The muscle you see when you do a latt spread. You work it out by doing pull ups, or pull overs.

I know how to develope my latts, I do weight training for my sport. And I have a pretty good size back. So I'm no stranger to the muscular developement. I been weight training since I was 15, I started weight training when I started Muay Thai. And I looked over the drawing after my last posting, and I don't see any mistakes of his latt muscles. So I'm sorry I don't see what you see. But thanks anyway.

Oh by the way, those little spikey mucles on his sides don't connect to the latts, those 'spikey' mucles you refered to the part of the oblique muscles, they're used for twisting of the abdomen. glasses

The saratus connects to the obliques in the front.

but in the back it connects to the shoulder blades.

Then the Latts come from the back, wrap around the torso, and connect in the arm pit.

Not what you see, is the lateral muscle overlapping the saratus muscle, which makes the illusion that they are connecting.

I got these illustrations from my anatomy book.

Atlas of human anatomy for the artist.

I was into body building too, when I was in high school, we had a gym class called Physical Best.

The max I ever benched was 300 pounds. I was a ripped back then, I was all swollen it was awesome, but when school ended, I got lazy and quit working out. I want to get back in to it though, I really liked it while I was doing it.

Great coloring. He seems a little thick for Lui but that's just my opinion. Look's great.

I scanned the pictures to Photoshop, saved them as .jpg files. Then I uploaded them to my free web host at boomspeed.com.

easy wink

Oh, and I stopped lifting, because I got lazy. And I have no one to go with. I get bored if I'm by my self.
