It's a really cute idea. Pulled it together well, I'm hopig to see more mags.

Got good news and bad news. Good news, I'm a graphic designer, so I can critique what you've done. Bad news, I'm a graphic designer, so I can critique what you've done.

• "Reptiles Fashon Dialema" : There's pleanty of space to orient it along with the other feature sections you have. There's no need to set off to the side, which brings me to the arrangement of the features. You devoted too much space in that area with large font sizes which don't allow you to fit "Reptiles Fashon Dialema" in the area. People can read at smaller font sizes, so there's no need to make them that large. Also, there's no need for the amount of bold edges for the feature copy. None or at least a little is perfectly fine. You could have also brought the feature copy in more from the edge, as well. You'll see that the border you gave is cut off on the left edge.

• "The features" : Which is the main feature, "Jade Goes Totally Naked!" or "Brothers Argue Over Girl"? If it's Jade, then she shouldn't be on the cover with such dominance. If there's no article, just two posters, then she shouldn't be on the cover. "Brothers Argue Over Girl" seems to have a grabbing interest right off the bat, which leads the reader to inquire as to what the deal is. He'll, I'd like to know myself. Most likely, 3-5 pg article will be highlighted.

Also, the main feature of the magazine most often garners that larger font size on the cover. The Jade posters would get some sort of special recognition on the cover that would attract people to them, but not a font size that equals or eclipses the treatment of the main feature. Also, don't use more than two font's for the features. And make sure they fit with how the mast looks. You have a nice MKU thing going on with the blocky look. Yet, you used three fonts in the features. Two of them that didn't fit with the MKU look.

As for the general look of it(minus my detailed critique), it's pretty nice. You got a dominating image and a good logo for MKU. You could have moved "Mortal Kombat Unleashed up closer to the MKU a bit more I think, so it looks more unified. Decent pasting job, though I notice some areas where you could have cleaned up the edges more.

This is great stuff... to bad you couldn't get a group together to put out a magazine with funny stories once a month or something.
