Ok. so it's not areal render, but it's the best damn pic edit I've done so far if I do say so myself:

Shang Tsung

I made everything in this pic. Shang was a Kung Lao that I edited. PLEASE tell me what you like/dislike about this pic... UPDATE: Here are some other ones that I did for a Mortal Kombat 7 series... Tara (made-up character) Nitara Dead Kitana Mileena Dead Frost Noob And here is a Mileena one that I edited off of the "Nitara at Leisure" pic that Aculeus did. The ONLY things I can see wrong is that the armpads from Kung Lao are still there, and that the fire doesn't look that "real" for coming from Shang's hands.

Otherwise, you're right. It's a very bitching edit; a 5/5.

Thanks for the comments. I haven't really used flame effects before, so hopefully I will be better at using them in the future. I might try some more blending with the flames.

Didn't use 3D max. I just had a Kung Lao render and Photoshop to work with. I did all of the background on Photoshop, along with the flames, crappy MK armageddon symbol, and editing done to Lao, i.e. Beard, hat, vest, belt, etc.
I like this a lot, he looks good like that.

wowWOW! Great job, man.

My only issue is with the fire effect. Almost looks like an Eye Candy filter, actually. I think the flames could have been done better, but it was a good idea. Maybe you could have thought about the green 'souls' effect as well.

In any case, this is some badass work. This is one of the best pieces I've ever seen and now one of my favorites. You really should submit this through the Fan Submission system.

Perfect 10/10

Yes- this IS your best work. I actually am not picky on flames. My issue is the hat is a little hacked on where it meets his forehead- as in, the head is wider than the hat. Fix the hat so it more naturally represents the top of his head.

Great they all looks great. Frost and shang Tsung are the best. The only one that isnt really good its Mileena illustrated. She dont look evil enough.

BEAUTIFUL. Awesome work especially the Frost one. I just think you should change evil Kitana's clothes to a really dark blue instead of dark red.
