Reptile Teaser!

Looks epic already.

That's an unusual look, his face has a lot more human features than before. I don't mean I dislike it, but it's very unusual, especially for me since I always think of his big lizard deadly alliance look

From your Reptile teaser he looks already a lot better than what we saw in the new game. The MK2011 is not all that bad but the head you made is a lot better than anything we have seen thus far with Reptile.

You have my heartfelt condolences. For any fan to automatically conjure up the MK5 iteration when think of Reptile is an affront to all that call themselves fans. A travesty has befallen our community today.

Thank you, this is exactly what I set out to do. It's the only reason that Reptile and his fatality were included in this project. Everyone/everything else I redesigned had not been released to us yet and I felt the MK team did a disservice to what was Reptile and what his Fatality could be.

So I decided to add a bit more fun to this for everyone.

Everything is looking good!
Jade's flesh and all is looking awesome. I also love the way Reptile is coming out, especially the scales and the small details. Speaking of, I like 4 and 5 best.

You are one of the best MK artists out there and I am in awe.

I prefer 4 too.

Never liked the human disguise, 2 and 3 don't seem right, why have green but not scales? And 5 is a little too brown, reminds me of Donatello whenever they give all the Ninja Turtles different skin colors.
The face is kinda bugging me though, you drew him with a human-shaped nose. He should have flat snake-nostrils if you're going to show him with his mask off.

I'll admit, I'm really really digging the sleek, slimy look of 1-3 as opposed to the scales on the rest. Given that the little art of Zaterra shows it more to be a lush foresty/swampy realm rather than desert, the sleek skin probably makes more sense for Reptile to have.

As for colour, it's hard to take number 2 seriously as it screams "ninja turle" or "green tree frog" so I'm going to make my choice number 3. Way I see it, you're already doing a lot to overhaul Reptile's traditional look by giving him more human facial features, so might as well take it all the way with his skin too.

The only one I would flat-out reject is the green scaled one because, well, that's what reptile's pretty much always looked like. I say be adventurous; redefine our favourite infamous green man.

4 is way out in the lead atm, so if you want to see something else, better start championing the effort for your pick!

Wow, these are amazing!

I actually like 1!!! HAhahaha I bet i'm the only one... but it looks gross... thats why I love it. the fleshy tones make him look so... organic I think for the brutality of the picture it'd b great. For the same reason 3 is my second favorite and 2 my 3rd. The sleek skin makes him look more vile... as opposed to the more feral scaly skin.

A WIP thread - god I love these. It's fascinating to see a work of art in the process of being made. I'm sure you know how much I love your work and this is no exception - this is looking great. I love 1, 4 & 5. I think I like 5 the most - the yellowish skin looks really great and more 'animalistic'. Great work! I cant' wait to see more.

I've gotta vote 4, but 1 and 5 are also excellent.
