The drawings are very good, there's no denying that.
I'm not a fan of some of the concepts though, the others are amazing :).
Scorpion - Looks cool, although I don't see much difference in design on the second sketch from his current design.
Quan Chi - Err... He looks like a super villian for a DC comic. Good drawing though.
Tanya - One of my favorites. I've always thought she was a terrible in game character, but the Egyptian style you've given her makes her distinct, and it's also a turn in the right direct I think.
Mavado - Also nice, it doesn't have the same impact as Tanya does on me. I've always hated Mavado as a character aswell, this makes him a little better, but as said before, he looks too much like Shang Tsung. Still, it's an improvement to his current design.
Reiko - I'm not a fan of this one, he looks like the Green Lantern.
Jade - It's a nice drawing, but again, I'm not really a fan of it. She's supposed to be extremely stealthy and ninja-like, but she looks like a background singer for R&B here.
Fujin - Nice, not much has changed other than the hair. Seems like I'd have to see a full body picture to properly critique it.
Kitana - I LOVE the first and second designs, very unique, very new, very refreshing. The final one is rather generic.
Kai - He doesn't have that respective ethnic look anymore, which to me was his only form of personality in the game. He looks like a thug with face paint.
Sindel - Same deal as Fujin here. I don't see much of a change, other than a few minor designs, and she looks a bit older. I'm not sure she should look old though, Edenians retain their youth through out the years from what we can see. She looks very young still, in the game.
Sub-Zero - Looks like Ryu (Street Fighter), with a scar. I'm not really a fan of it. Sub-Zero is my favorite character, I just don't feel this look does him any justice.
Sonya - Very nice change. She looks more respectable and not like a whore anymore. I approve.
Frost - Costume is alright... she reminds me of Tinkerbell. I think her hair in the game made her distinct, it was the wrong thing to change if you ask me.
Jax - I've always been a fan of him preMK5, I don't like his thug appearence. He should be more respectable as a special forces officer. For what he is now, I like it.
