The 1st Round had been negotiated, and first I must say congratulations to all who have participated. This tournament is MUCH better than the first one, and wouldn't have been such a success had it not been for the excellent characters provided by the contestants, and the hard work done by the judges.

But, we must progress. The Quater Finals have been drawn and it is now the best of the best against one another. Each of these characters won their respective matches, so it is time to see who will advance to the semis.

Yeah, so I was just wondering if the people who already pre-registered could be listed. I think I'm one of them, but since all the inboxes were emptied, I can't remmember if I my character was sent before or after.

Hi. I thought I'm come out of the shadows and actually post something in the topic for once. The first round shaped up to be pretty good, with its fair share of what's hot and what flops. I hope all of the contestants so far understand from reading the judge reviews of what to improve upon, what to keep, and what to add in future tournaments. I know a couple of rounds will be one-sided, but you all should know that you've made it this far, something your previous opponent didn't have the goods to do. There are a couple of entries that are at this point which I think need improvement, and during the votes I'll be telling you exactly what I think should be done in comparison to the other character. I've given you all individual critiques, now I'll rank you all on categories compared to your opponent. Good luck to all in Round 2.

As far as pre-registration goes... yes, you need to have a basically complete concept sent in.

I have been waiting for Shadaloo's Vortex's drawing...from a while now..i hope to see it soon.

As for giving a list of pre-registered characters, the list will be made viewable to the public. As or the list, i have not received any pre-registered characters yet, maybe you've sent it to ~Crow. ~Crow~ would need to give me the list as well so that i can update myself with being aware of who we have. Till that happens, i can't give any updates of pre-registeration.

Yes, you need to create your character to pre-register, this will save up time in the future, while we wait for contestants. You should develop your character with reasonable detail so that it can be qualified for pre-registeration. Not like just list a couple of moves, and that's it. Remember, you can add more detail later on and pm it to us as an update for your character.

Question, are the drawing entries of characters for the third tournament submitable at any point as they are in this tournament or will you have a deadline on them as well?

There won't be any deadlines for drawings. I don't see any point in having a time limit for such a thing. Contestants shouldn't be rushed on their character's drawing, which might not mean them the match, but rather take up their time in drawing their character rather than developing their character.

Character Drawings can be done anytime, and there will be no deadline.

btw, pre-registered characters will not be mentioned until a later date or the 3rd tournament's opening debut.

YAY! Keilienaten needs to rule. Can I take this fight scene. Speaking of fights, I think there's on3 or two fights not written yet.

Keep everyone on the heads up, I've already started the novel. I will send the prologue to Brodeur, if wants to check out, with the novel's title, and chapters. I've been going back and forth, editing since the bios and intro have been coming out. Although the intro was almost similar to my prologue. I yet haven't seen the video, but from what I've read.

ANyways, I will also put a character for the next tourny, if possible.
Also, I have spin off of two character from this tourny. One is Keilienaten, and the other is Kamon, well he's not in this tourny. Hope they put him in tourny3.
I am writing a prequel novel on them. SInce they both are from the same realm. It's cool.

Here he saw potential, and offered the warrior secrets of his past in exchange for servitude. To show his 'honesty', he gave the warrior his codename back: Vortex. Something inside the warriors head clicked, and he knew Quan Chi did indeed possess the information he needed. Remaining in Outworld as the guardian of Quan Chi's Sheoul, Vortex was given his secrets, piece by piece, for years. He quickly regained his martial arts prowess under Quan Chi's tutelage, his body remembering what his mind forgot. He remembered Earth and Outworld's history. But he still did not know his own true name, or that he once had a family. So when news of Quan Chi's death and the rise of the Dragon King reached him, he was devastated, clueless as to just how much more information he might never again know. But an idea struck him. Surely the all-powerful Dragon King had the power to recover for him what he needed? And was he not now in sole possession of all of the later sorcerer's belongings? He packed away those things that had seemed most important to his late master, scrolls, records, and priceless jewels, and began a journey to bargain with the devil... Character Description: Vortex no longer wears the simple ninja garb of the Shirai Ryu. Although he has kept the uniform he awoke to find his memory gone in, it holds no significance to him, having spent many nights staring at it, with nothing returning to his mind. Now he spots the garments which Quan Chi has adorned him with. He is unmasked, having shoulder-length black hair, combed back, with two bangs falling to his chin. Hurricane: Vortex sends out winds to create an immense barrier around him. If the enemy touches this, they are blown directly up into the air, but incur no damage until they hit the ground, or Vortex hits them first. Fatalities: Vortex Of Pain: Vortex sends a large blast of wind at his opponent which spins counter-clockwise. This is not enough to do more than twirl the opponent around...until he sends out a second from his other hand, which travels clockwise. The conflicting winds crack the enemy's bones apart, and they fall to the ground a bloody mess. Whirlwind Crack: Vortex summons his power and uses it to spin the enemy in place at a blindingly fast rate. As they scream for mercy, he walks toward them, and grabs them sharply by the head. The head stops spinning, but the body does not for another split-second, as a sickening crunch is heard, its momentum snapping the neck so that the head is backwards. The broken body falls to the ground. Hara-Kiri: Leaves Falling: Votex summons a mighty gale to lift him high into the air. He allows it to stop once high enough, and plummets to his own doom. Obstacles: Name it. Towers, pillars, fleeing citizens, there's a lot to get in your way here. Weapons: Strewn all about this imense arena are weapons of all variety. Whips, warhammers, meat cleavers and thoraxes abound, if you know where to look (behind a weapons vendor's stand, etc.) Hazards: Certain onlookers will throw rocks and glass at your fighter if you get too close to them. Deathtrap: If knocked into the torture chamber, death is certain for any who should be send screaming into the spiked pit in the center of the room...or into thw whirling blades which adorn the walls.
