Don't worry ultimodragon, your character has been registered by ~Crow~. It has only been removed from the thread, but is still on the list, so that contestants cannot see each others' characters until the tournament actually begins. He also mentioned you'll need an arena for your character.

You cannot enter the tournament without an actual storyline for your character. Also, an arena is required as I explained in my post above. I can "reserve" you a slot temporarily, but if enough completed concepts are received you could be excluded.

So far my character's storyline involves him entering the tournmanet to get revenge on Shang Tsung. Seems like everyone else has theirs involving the Dragon King. Is there some sort of official storyline for the "Kreate a Karacter Tounrment" that I missed?

It isn't necessary to involve the Dragon King at all. The events are simply taking place during the course of Deception, which does not mean your character has to be involved directly with the Dragon King.

Some of you'll may be wondering about the character artwork. Well..I've finally managed to get a hold of jax007 and consulted him about the situation.

We won't be seeing every character's art, but instead, you'll have to earn your artwork. Just like earning your way to the hall of fame awards you with dragon points, getting into the hall of fame will now reward you with your character's artwork.

No, to get into the hall of fame you will need to have your character placed in their respective sector finals. Since there are 2 sectors, there will be 2 finals, therefore, there will be 4 characters, hence 4 artworks.

On a side note: I would like to say that I currently have been working on inking and coloring my picture of Vandon Sozek. The Background is not yet complete but because I wish to get it in before the end of the tournament and would rather put my concentration towards my new concepts I am going to scan it and send it to you Brodeur, if its ok that you switch one picture for the other. The only reason I am doing this is because inking the picture shows much more of the detail that was lost in translation of the pencil sketch and certain details, such as the tattoo on the side of Vandon's face, are not very visible. Anyway, that is all for now.
