K, #1 automatically phails due to the lame sticking a 2D head on a 3D sprite, and not even making the head right. The lightning at the end doesn't even make sense, it's big lightning then all of the sudden, a small bit of lightning that doesn't even look like it has anything to do with Liu's injuries. Looks like you went photoshop happy, and the rain effects are boring.

#2 impresses me due to making a REPTILE sprite OUT OF A SINDEL sprite. The axe looks too thin on the handle, but at least the axe looks better than the original, with the tone and whatnot. The BG looks real, and you bothered to add shadows/lighting even. My complaint is not enough blood for his injuries, but at least the fake is good.

I'm not gonna bother rating them, #2 wins.

I have proven that you dont need to go edit crazy in order for a fake to look good, which is what I have hoped to accomplish. If you have a good concept that is implemented in good fashion, it can can turn out great as demonstrated. So if any fakers out there who have a kickass idea and want to show it off, go for it. Dont let the harsher raters deter you. Though, since this was a contest, I shouldve spent more than half a day on it. Bad decision on my part. Live and learn. Hopefully this MKFPS has stimulated the growth of MK fan art creation. Congrats to MKR on his win. thanks

MKR automatically gets my vote, and although both fakes are well done, but the whole Raiden thing ruined it for me. I congratulate both of you on your hard work.
