I believe we will start as soon as ~Crow~ gets here.
He will update us with the new rules on the boss battles.
I do know how this will work as he did tell me about it, but i will wait for him to make a clear description for all of us, then i will update the 4th tournament rules as well, with this new set of rules.
P.S.
Hint, just consider yourself to most likely lose this match if your character's stamina level has gone exhausted over all these previous matches.

Guys, like i said before, i will be heading out of town pretty soon in a few hours, so don't expect me to reply to anything even the boss battle if it does take place; for a few days most probably by Saturday.
Goin to Seattle for a cousin's surprise b-day. Yea, i'm gonna take my notebook to make the concept for Scorpion for MK Klash, haha, what a way to spend a mini-vacation.
maybe i might draw him up as well
Peace.

Okay, I am ready to begin the Sub-boss battles. First, allow me to explain the special rules surrounding this phase of the tournament-
The seeds the characters currently have will be useful, as it indicates what they will need to do in order to defeat their world's sub-boss. As we all know, MK sub-bosses have always been superior to regular characters in fighting. I will attempt to reflect this in the tournament as well.
A character's seed determines how many votes the character will need to defeat the sub-boss. If a 1 seed is facing a boss, all the character must do is simply get more votes than the sub-boss character does. If an 8 seed battles a sub-boss, they must defeat the sub-boss with a near flawless victory in order to win. For example, let's say an 8 seed vs. a sub-boss battle ends and the results are 5-3 in favor of the 8 seed character. The sub-boss is still the winner in this situation.
This is done to show how the lower seeds have less "life" remaining, and how the top seeds are stronger characters because they have been defeated less... thus have more energy remaining. Here's a breakdown of the system for all seeds-
1 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss with any amount of votes. A tie will result in the win of the 1 seed.
2 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss with any amount of votes. A tie will result in the win of the Sub-boss.
3 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss by two total votes (minimum)
4 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss by three total votes (minimum).
5 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss by four total votes (minimum).
6 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss by five total votes (minimum).
7 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss by six total votes (minimum).
8 seeds vs. Sub-bosses- Defeat the sub-boss by seven total votes (minimum).
----------
In this round... in order to get more votes overall, Judge votes will be considered equal to fan votes. The rounds will also last a bit longer in order to get more votes as well.
Note: The creator of the sub-boss cannot vote in the sub-boss battle their sub-boss is involved in, nor can the creator of the character in that battle
If there are still questions, feel free to ask them here and I will explain. Now, on with the games.

Special thanks to Smoke-NC017 for allowing me to use his character for this tournament. Poasty was unable to submit a concept by the deadline, so I am happy to have such a nice replacement

My only question is, if a character falls to a Sub-Boss, are they eliminated from the tournament?

I believe this only counts to your ranking for the bracket alignment; you won't be eliminated if you lose.
Sorry for the delay. Here are the results of the 8 seed vs. Sub-bosses round. One of the 8 seeds did manage to secure a victory over the world's sub-boss.
Final results
Cable: 0
April: 11
Raven Rice: 11
Nickelbopper: 0
Catalyst: 10
Shadow: 1
Vloxik: 11
Sophia: 0

I won't update the standings until after the sub-bosses have faced every character. The 7 seeds vs. Sub-bosses matches will be posted below.
