Dude!...Thats PWNAGE!wow I love the Rain a Kahn sprites
They look semi 3D..kinda like n64 and ps1 graphics.
The only thing i dont like is onaga in the backround he looks to stretched out but the rest looks awesome dudewink

Looks good to me :D 9\10 , that 9 was cause of Shao Kahn , make him Fade 50 % matching background , if u save it in PSD also with shao kahn sprite also , go to him and go to image\adjustments\match color... and make it fade 50% and make the layer blending to him the background with flames . PS : Sharpen him more :D

I usually enjoy your stuff, but this I'm not very fond of.

Things I Like:

Onaga not being selectable, but holding the select screen. I think that's a really neat concept. I also find the fire effect very well done.

Things I Don't Like:

The weird portraits (different games, some stretched, some blurry) of the characters. Maybe next time try to create your own from images of the characters (in-game or renders, etc.) I also can't stand the weird, semi-3D, not-to-scale, small sprites of Rain and Kahn. They seem very out of place. If you are going to use them though, you should have some sort of blinking cursor over the Rain and Kahn portraits.

Things I'm Confused About:

The red eyes in the background.

I agree with most of the other crtitiques and have one point to add- the two fighters that ARE selected do not have colored square outlines around their portraits on the select screen to show which are selected. Needs that.

Yea Ace just post a link here to your updated version. I just cut out the Rain sprite from the new Game Informer. The red eyes are suppose to represent the omnipresent One Being since we have no idea what he/she/it looks like yet. haha the highlighted squares slipped my mind but i can easily go back and fix that. GoL - jaw dropping is an understatement for that art piece on your page.

2 . Sharpen edges of the whole screen
3 . Shao Kahn Pallete Improved
4 . Added some scratches on the steel
5. Added P1 ( Red ) P2 ( Blue ) boxes
6. Made Shao Kahn Blend with Bkg ( and if so , Rain )

I love the scratches that you put on the face plate. Those are from Onaga right? I also like the improved Kahn model. However the fire and text at top dont really fit imo. This is what I want the selection boxes to look like:
