Anyway, that's fucking insanely good for a first fake. I fucking love this. I don't like the lighting you did with the lifebars though, but the design and shit is nice.

I like how the destiny tower shows Kitana fighting Sonya, and that's what's happening in the fake. However, they show MK4 mugshots and its a MK3 fake.

overall its good work, but seeing as the super pink energy is frying kitana, I would not have had it enveloping sonya also. I'm surprised no one noticed that all ready. (I know some fighters glow when the do a power move, but unlike them, sonya has no special powers from within- just a weapon on her wrist or arm.

Anything done by Keith rocks, and this pic is no exception. I believe its your first fake, but we all know you have super talent when it comes to making this sort of pictures (your signatures are a perfect example of what Im talking about). Its very good! I love the background (its an excellent creative touch), and the glow looks superb!

5/5. You should had entered this pic for a rating system. Kitana has never looked better . I would only change the life bars, the bright glow looks odd, but thats just my opinion. Awesome picture Keith, keep up the good work!



Actually, Sonyas ring toss IS a special power that comes from within. Years ago there was an interview done to Ed Boon and John Tobias (dont remember who replied) and a fan asked them if Sonyas ring toss was because of a weapon, and they said that was the reason they made Mk3 Sonya glow, to avoid that confusing by showing her rings come from within (reason why she glows) and not from a weapon.

Im so sorry for this very late reply! After almost a month I have finally decided to visit MKO, and when I saw your fake pic I just had to log in to put my opinion. I have seen the sig you have done for me and I LOVE IT! Thank you! I will put it now as my own, Im really sorry I didn’t reply to you before but I havent visited this site till now, I have been away in what you would call a “short vacation”, lol.

Its really cool how we have this sort of “mind-ideas-connection”. I too have been working on some sigs of Sonya and Johnny (Im a huge fan of their romance!) but all look like crap. Also, I remember when we both were working on the MKDA rare Sonya pic from the select screen, but you had her first in your sig, lol.

I really hope you are doing alright and that you get this PM, just in case I will post something more in your fake pic thread.

*****Oh! I forgot to add, yes, that really is Sonya in my sig. Those are pics of her from the mk comics. She was actually going to MARRY Shao Kahn! The story was awesome. Have you ever read the comics?

I've never read the comics, I've seen some on MKAustralia but that's it and I don't think the comic where Sonya & Kahn "marriage" is there. But I have heard of that before I'm sure of it. Anyway I'm glad you like the sig And thank you everyone for your kind comments.

1 = the life bars are off center.

2 = The border bothers me. It's not bad, but It looks like I'm looking through a piece of glass.


I don't know though, it looks like that's just your trade mark.

I see you use the same thing in your sig.'s.

The border seems to suit different things. I realise now I can't use it everywhere, like I said in a different topic I've been messing around with different borders, I liked that one for some of my grungier sigs but it doesn't work out on fakes unfortunatley. Oh well, simple 1px borders will do fine there.

If that is true then I officially denounce Sonya in MK. Thats the dumbest crap I ever heard. Special Forces person having special body generated powers. pretty dumb. sorry. Thats just proof MK started to lose it in MK3.

The purpose of the game is to go beyond reality. A purely realistic game would get boring fast. I like the idea of Sonya have an inner power, she is the chosen female fighter for Earth so there has to be something special about her.

Being the only chosen female warrior to defend earth, she has to have some sort of special inner powers.

Liu Kang the monk has his fireballs and he also turns into a Dragon.

Johnny Cage the actor has his green plasma fireballs.

Jax has some wave energy attacks (Mk2) and some fire balls (Mk3-Mk4)

Sonya the Lieutenant has her sonic rings (Mk1-Mk3), her fire ball (Mk4), her Kiss of death mist (MKDA) and lest not forget her Kiss of Death Fatalities (Mk1-Mk3-Mk4-MKDA).

I mean, if she is capable of creating fire from within in order to kiss her enemies good-bye, or if she is able to create a poisonous mist from nowhere, she is pretty much capable of conjuring some sonic rings.
