To get back to the point, the color around the characters are cool, but the energy looks lazily put together; it's just two fireballs cut in half and put together. You should make them one color or make them blend together better.

Looks pretty good, I like. But yeah, make the energy colors blend together in the middle, amd maybe have some of it coming from their hands. Also fix Ermac's feet and make em darker or something so it looks right.
