It sucks, but here.

15. I never was a drawer...
Dont be so hard on yourself, we all have to start somewhere. first off I can see that you have no problems with details and that the pose is decent, so from there try to consider your proportions ( here it might be important to consult an anatomy book or even your own image in the mirror). Try to put as much time and patience as you possibly can into your work. In time I believe we will be impressed by your art.

when drawing a human figure, you want the proportions to be as accurate as possible. you can achieve cool efffects by warping them a bit (like making a girl look hotter by giving her longer legs) but those techniques should only be attempted by someone who is very experienced with proportion and perspective. the human proportions are measured in terms of head lengths (from the top of the figure's head to the bottom of the chin) each section of the body is 2 head lengths long. the sections are as follows... from the top of the head to the chest line (draw a line from arm pit to arm pit), from the chest line to the crotch, from the crotch to the knee, and from the knee to the bottom of the foot. the upper arm segment is 2 head lengths, and so is from the elbow to the tip of the fingers. do a few practice sketches of people just standing in the upright position so that you can get the proportions right, and then start movin their parts around and adding a little perspective. if some one could tell me how, i could post a pic of the proportions if you'd like.
