Noob Saibot
===========
Sometimes it seems that even the best laid plans could go wrong. Once, he was the most feared warrior in the Lin Kuei, the latest holder of the title of Sub-Zero. Then, some arrogant young spectre named Scorpion ended his life, seeking revenge for his murder, condemning him to servitude in the Netherrealm. He came under the thrall of Shinnok, being transformed into Noob Saibot, a shadowy spectre who's life was only to serve a demon god that he had already fought against before. The irony of it all was sickening.

After completing several assignments for Shinnok, including aiding Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, and then aiding Quan Chi and Shinnok again, he found himself masterless, all his previous employers dead, leaving only Onaga, who didn't seem interested. Infuriated by his former masters' incompetence, he decided to strike out on his own, and be his own master. He found Smoke in Shao Kahn's dungeons, and planned to use him to build a race of cyborg demons in the Netherrealm, taking it over and making it his own, then moving onto other realms. He even managed to slay his upstart brother. Then Ashrah showed up and ruined everything, sending him fleeing for his life.

Now he has nothing left but the will to survive. He flees, the demon huntress Ashrah seeking his life. He will not die by her hand. He will live, and he will get revenge on Smoke, on Ashrah, and on the remnants of his brother's clan, making them pay for the humiliation he has suffered.

Noob Saibot thrusts his hands forward, shooting a huge orb of ghostly, dark blue energy. If it hits, the opponent is surrounded by blue smoke for seven seconds and cannot block during that time.

Ebony Slam: d, u
Noob Saibot teleports away in a column of shadows. He reappears behind is opponent and, if he is close enough, grabs the opponent on his way up and powerbombs him/her on the way down.

Ebony Shadow: f, f + HP
Noob Saibot gestures, a clone of himself appearing in a burst of ebony energy, rushing forward and grabbing the opponent, throwing him back towards Noob.

Ebony Cold: qcf + LP
Noob Saibot shoots a small orb of black energy. If it hits, the opponent is frozen for a few seconds, same as Sub-Zero's freeze.

Fatality 1: (far) d, d, u + Block
Noob Saibot pulls out his sword and points it at the opponent. Ebony energy flows from it and envelops the opponent completely. Screaming is heard briefly from the cloud of energy, as Noob Saibot leans on his blade casually, chuckling. The energy vanishes, revealing that the opponent has been reduced to a black skeleton. The skeleton shivers for a moment, and then bows to Noob, who nods approvingly.

Fatality 2: (far) f, f, f, f, f + HP
Noob Saibot gestures, ebony energy coming from his hands and wrapping around the opponent, lifting him/her high up into the air. Noob Saibot poses with his hands out, the energy holding the opponent up becoming thin and disk shaped, the opponent looking on in confusion. He then brings his hands together, the energy becoming a solid disk. The opponent gasps as he/she is slashed at the waist, his/her lower body dropping limply to the ground. The camera then pans to a far shot of Noob chuckling in victory as the opponent's upper body goes limp on the ebony energy disk in the air.

Harakiri: f, f, f, b + HK
Noob Saibot raises his sword into the air, and recites an incantation. A column of black light envelopes him. When it fades, it leaves a black skeleton in Noob's smoldering, tattered clothes, a skeleton that falls over limply.

Friendship: b, b, d, f, b + Block
Noob Saibot poses, and the lights go out. A small spotlight appears, revealing a blank viewscreen. Noob's hands come up and start making silly shadow puppets.

(The scene is inside Sindel's throne room. Noob Saibot, his body tattered and bloody, is standing over Ashrah's skeletal corpse. Around him are other skeletal corpses, baring Frost's, Cyrax's, Sareena's, and Smoke's garments. Wincing, holding his oozing abdomen, he staggers over to the throne and sits down on it, chuckling weakly.)

Noob Saibot: That... was somewhat unpleasant.

Nitara: Well, what did you expect? You were foolish to try and take them all on, spectre.

(Noob Saibot glares at Nitara she strides into the hall, smirking.)

Noob Saibot: It matters not how the deed was done, simply that it was done. I have destroyed my brother's clan, everyone he cared about. I have destroyed the one who ruined my plans.

Nitara: *laughs mockingly* Do you really think that it's over?

Noob Saibot: *looks around at the gathered corpses* I think so, yes.

Nitara: *laughs louder* You have forgotten one, Noob Saibot, and now you are too weak to defeat him.

Noob Saibot: *slams his fist on the throne's arm angrily* I have forgotten NOTHING!!!

(Nitara laughs wickedly, and vanishes in a black wave of energy. Noob Saibot shakes his head, and relaxes on the throne, contemplating his next move. He then hears the sound of powerful legs thumping the ground. A voice calls out Ashrah's name, concerned, and Noob Saibot's eyes widen fearfully.)

Noob Saibot: No... Kintaro... I'm still too weak!!!

(Noob slowly, achingly, tries to get to his feet, but too late, as Kintaro stomps into the room. He spies Ashrah's corpse and roars angrily, thumping his chest and charging the helpless Noob Saibot...)

(fadeout)

Motaro

Motaro prided himself on having insight into his enemies. For instance, the Chaos Cleric, Havik. After he had been ressurected by him, he had managed to convince him to tell him why. Havik's intention, apparently, was to ressurect as many previous Mortal Kombatants and other warriors as he could, in hopes of the upheavel of everyone coming back to life. Motaro didn't like that at all, but was pleased to know that he had been ressurected before Goro, his rival, and Sheeva, his murderer. He had time to make plans.

So he sent out his greatest warriors across Shokan lands, to rape, to kill, to plunder. His people would no longer abide by the truce Princess Kitana forced on them after his death. He would lead his people to ultimate victory, conquer the Shokan once and for all, and most importantly, secure the future of his people. They had served Shao Kahn faithfully for centuries, not letting such petty things as honor get in the way of victory. The proud Shokan would fall before them, their 'warrior's honor' being proven as worthless forever. And Motaro would be given the respect he deserved, hailed as the greatest warrior in the land.

Motaro shimmers out of existance and reappears somewhere else.

Motaro charges forward and headbutts his opponent.

Motaro grabs his opponent by the top of the head and lifts him/her off the ground. He then shakes the opponent violently until the body falls off of the head at the neck with a loud ripping sound. Motaro then roars, raising the head triumphantly.

Motaro roars, and scrapes the ground challengingly with his front hooves. He then lowers his head and charges, ramming the opponent hard with his horns. He then shakes his head, lifting his opponent up and goring him/her even further, blood gushing all over him. He then pulls the opponent off of his horns and brushes the excess blood and guts off of himself.

Motaro snaps off one of his own horns and slashes his throat with it.

Friendship: f, d, d, d + HK
Motaro sighs, shrugs, and wraps his tail around the opponent's waist. He then puts the dazed opponent on his back, producing a cowboy hat and putting it on the opponent's head. He then starts trotting around. The opponent gets the idea and starts encouraging him to go faster, the ride eventually turning to Motaro bucking wildly to get his opponent off his back, who is hanging on and laughing, waving the cowboy hat around, enjoying the ride.

(The scene is a battlefield in the Kuatan underground kingdom. Centaurs and Shokan are fighting savagely, but it seems the Centaurs are winning. Motaro trots onto the battlefield, slashing Shokan in half left and right. He eventually makes his way to Sheeva, who attacks him savagely, surprising him with the force of the attack and driving him back. But soon, he gets the upper hand and kills her, driving his sword through her chest. Chuckling, he cuts her head off, tying it by the hair to his belt, and meets up with two young female Centaurs outside of a massive wooden door bearing Goro's image. He scowls, and turns to the two beautiful young warriors.)

Motaro: Status report.

Redheaded Female Centaur: Goro is holed up inside there, his burial chamber. He was fighting some of our warriors, but he slammed the door shut before we could follow.

Black-haired Female Centaur: We've been kicking at it, but so far are doing nothing more than chipping our hooves.

Motaro: *chuckling* Perhaps you just aren't hitting it hard enough.

(Motaro quickly flips around, striking the door with enough force to rattle it. But nothing more happens. Motaro frowns, and then shrugs.)

Motaro: We try together then.

(The two female Centaurs nod and turn around.)

Motaro: On my mark! One, two, THREE!

(All three Centaurs strike the door with their hind legs at the exact same time. The door creaks open slightly. They strike it again, and again, and again, the door coming open enough for Motaro to turn around and force it open himself. He strides into the lava-filled chamber, only to see Goro, battered, bloodied, and missing his lower limbs, throw a young Centaur into the lava. The redheaded female warrior screams as the Centaur hits the lava, recognizing him as her lover. She snarls, whipping out her lance and starting forward, but Motaro stops her.)

Motaro: No. I would not see you meet his fate.

Goro: *chuckling weakly* Come to finish your work, Motaro?

(Motaro chuckles, and holds up Sheeva's head. Goro roars angrily, causing Motaro to laugh even harder.)

Motaro: Indeed I am. No longer will the invincible Centaurians be forced into a truce they do not want to abide with your pathetic species. You shall all be EXTINCT, Shokan Prince.

Goro: You will still see me in your nightmares, Centaur.

Motaro: *starts to trot towards Goro, throwing Sheeva's head casually into the lava* Maybe. But you'll be dead, and that's all that matters.

Goro: *growls, and coughs up blood* Come then. You speaking is putting me to sleep.

(Motaro sneers, and charges towards Goro, his head lowered. Goro tries to block, but Motaro connects head on, knocking him into the lava, where he dies silently. The two female Centaurs cheer wildly, as Motaro turns and bows to them, grinning viciously.)

Motaro: Let's finish it, my dears. Then we shall celebrate by having a grand feast of Shokan flesh. The only real pity is that Goro won't be able to join us. *he looks casually over his shoulder to where Goro landed in the lava and smirks* He got a little 'overcooked.'

(The female Centaurs laugh as Motaro trots up towards them, twirling his sword casually, his tail whipping from side to side.)

(fadeout as Motaro reaches the door)

Reiko
=======

Reiko, a child of Seido, is one of the oldest beings alive, seconded only by the gods themselves. He has lived for years, serving many masters, his shortest term being with Shao Kahn, his longest with Shinnok. He left Shao Kahn after only five years, deciding that the upstart young demon couldn't be trusted to run the realms properly. He swore himself to the devil Elder God, Shinnok, and served under him during his war on the Elder Gods. But quickly he found out that Shinnok was just as evil and as foolish as the others. Faking his own death, he lived a peaceful life for centuries after that, remaining in hiding as a human, changing identities over the years to keep his life secret.

But Shinnok came back. His servant, Noob Saibot, brought him unwillingly back into the fold. So he took up the cause once more, and reluctantly fought for Shinnok. As expected, Shinnok was defeated, and he bartered for his life with Fujin and Raiden. He had hoped to live a peaceful life after than, but shortly after he heard of several things that disturbed him greatly. The Deadly Alliance, the accidental ressurection of Onaga, their defeat which led to the madness of Raiden. The multiple ressurections of fighters from the past was of concern as well. He knew he couldn't stay inactive any longer. He picked up his club and joined the various heroes, trying to do what he could to contain the chaos...

Reiko slams his fists together, creating an explosion of magic, causing the spikes on his knuckles to grow to three feet in length. He then slams one set of long spikes into the opponent's head, jamming them in the opponent's skull up to the hilt. He then slams his other set of spikes into the opponent's chest. He lifts up the impaled opponent and throws his opponent off of his spikes. He then bows, crossing his arms, his blood-covered spikes dripping.

Reiko twirls his spiked club and smashes his opponent's head off with it. He looks around for the opponent's head as the body falls, and curses as he finds it stuck on the spikes of his club. He struggles to remove the opponent's head from the spikes of his club, and tosses it aside casually.

Reiko salutes, and slams his club into his head with enough force to crush his head.

Friendship: d, d, d, d + LP
Reiko holds out his club, and casts a spell on it, turning it into an electric guitar. He begans to play, dancing to the beat with a goofy grin on his face.

(Reiko is seen fighting against Shao Kahn and Shinnok alongside Hotaru, and is doing relatively well. But soon after, Shao Kahn roars, creating a blast of magic that sends both Reiko and Hotaru flying. Shinnok, relieved for the reprieve, smirks at them.)

Shinnok: You earn points for forcing us to work together. But now you are going to die quite horribly.

Reiko: *shaking his head and staggering to his feet* I think not.

Shao Kahn: *chuckling and cracking his knuckles* Oh really, and why is that?

Reiko: *brandishing his club* Because in Seido, there is a sacred enchantment that is sealed until the most dire of circumstances is met. An enchantment that can be placed on any weapon and make it capable of killing even GODS.

(His club glows with a bright flash, startling Shao Kahn and Shinnok. Reiko takes advantage of the distraction and smashes Shao Kahn's head off with the club, turning to Shinnok immediately afterwards and pounding him mercilessly. Once Shinnok has been struck ten times, killing him, Reiko staggers, breathing heavily, his injuries starting to catch up with him. He starts to fall, as a massive form steps out of the shadows.)

Reiko: *coughing* Onaga...

Onaga: *applaudes mockingly, and then pulls the now no longer glowing control collar off of his neck* I thank you for removing my opposition, little Seidan. Now there is no one left to stop me from securing my rule over all realms.

Reiko: *coughs* There is one thing left, betrayer of order...

Onaga: *smirks* Who then?

(Hotaru leaps forward, his naginata glowing, and slams its blade into Onaga's chest, forcing him backward. He then rips out the blade as Onaga screams, and slashes his head off with it. He then turns to Reiko and helps him up.)

Hotaru: What now, father?

Reiko: *still breathing heavily, he gestures, creating a massive, purple portal* Call the Seidan Guard and send them to Shao Kahn's throne room. I will have orders for them there.

Hotaru: *blinks, and looks horrified* You mean you are...

Reiko: *nodding, he seperates himself from Hotaru* Indeed. In the name of Order, I must.

(Hotaru, looking sad, bows to Reiko as he steps through the portal, re-emerging in Shao Kahn's cavern from UMK3/MKT. He steadily walks up the steps to the throne and sits down on it, a skeletal helmet like Shao Kahn's descending onto his head. His eyes flash.)

Reiko: Let all Outworld know that I am in command, that I am the new Kahn. And let all those who would endanger blessed order fear my wrath...

(fadeout)

Jarek

Jarek was the last of the Black Dragons to be revived by the trouble-making Havik. Kano and Kabal, who, after a duel for leadership that ended in a draw, were glad to have him back, since he was the most dedicated of the Black Dragons, even putting aside his hatred of the Special Forces members Jax and Sonya to aid them during the crisis with Shinnok, knowing that Shinnok was a threat to the future of the Black Dragon. Jarek himself had died a bad death, confronting Sonya on a cliffside and being tricked into running off of it. Certainly, Jarek was happy to be back with the group. But there were some problems.

For one, he wasn't sure about the newcomers Kira and Kobra. Kabal told him that they had been in the midst of a duel to the death to prove which one was more worthy of joining the Black Dragon, and Jarek could see that the rivalry was still there. It could pose something of a problem. Jarek was uncertain of Kabal himself, since he had betrayed the Black Dragon and left the group before. And there was Tremor, whom he thought was too focused on getting women rather than getting results. But Jarek wouldn't say anything. Kano and Kabal wanted the team to gel, to work together. Right now they were the only Black Dragons alive, and they needed to stick together to defeat threats such as Raiden, his former warriors, and the revived Red Dragon. The Black Dragon is all that matters to Jarek, and he will defend it with his very soul if need be.

Jarek kicks the opponent across the face, spinning him/her around. He then slashes the opponent across the back, blood spraying out as he/she screams in agony and falls to his/her knees. He then cuts off the opponent's head and chuckles wickedly.

Jarek shouts "BLACK DRAGON FOREVER!!!!!" and stabs himself with his scimitar, jamming the blade so far into his stomach that it emerges out the back.

Jarek produces a tuba from behind his back, and plays a long, loud note, winding himself.

(Jarek is standing stoically to one side as he watches Tasia, Tremor, No-Face, Kira, Kabal, and Kobra train. He nods approvingly at the savage fights (with padded versions of their normal weapons), and looks around the field. He doesn't see Kano, and becomes worried that something is wrong. Walking off the field, he follows a rocky, hidden path into the forest, taking a long, winding trail. When he finally reaches its end, he stares, seeing Kano talking with Nitara and several vampires.)

Kano: Hmm... I don't know. Me last experiment wit' Shao Kahn didn't work so well. Same thing wit' the so-called 'Deadly Alliance.'

Nitara: Trust me, Kano. We Vampires are a thousand times more competant than those fools. How else do you think we've gotten away with so much under Shao Kahn's rule?

Kano: *chuckles* I guess so, luv. *thinks for a moment* Well... Okay. The Black Dragon will align themselves to the Vampires.

Nitara: EXCELLENT. We'll be back in a few moments with our end of the deal.

(The vampires turn and walk through a portal Nitara creates. Jarek, horrified, comes out into the clearing with Kano.)

Jarek: Sir? What are you doing?

Kano: *looks a little surprised, but not displeased, to see him* Securin' the future, mate.

Jarek: With VAMPIRES?! Sir, they cannot be trusted!

Kano: I know, I know. But the deal f'power they offered was just to good t'pass up!

Jarek: *his face becomes stern* They are dangerous.

Kano: Jarek, relax, would ya? I've got everything in hand, mate.

Jarek: They endanger the Black Dragon.

Kano: *getting irritated* We'll handle it if it comes to that. For once in y'bloody life trust me.

Jarek: And if you make deals with these untrustworthy monsters....

Kano: JAREK. SHUT. UP.

Jarek: Then YOU ENDANGER THE BLACK DRAGON TOO!!

(Before Kano can react, Jarek whips out his scimitar and beheads him. Angrily, he picks up the head and writes a message on a nearby rock formation in Kano's blood. Quickly, he runs back to the gathering and tells them what happened.)

Jarek: Kano has betrayed us. He made some sort of deal with the Vampires that would put us in danger.

Kabal: *hmmms, considering, and tosses Kano's head over his shoulder nonchalantly* While I'm glad I no longer have competition for leadership, I'm still not sure that we should have said no to the Vampires plan.

Tremor: He had the right idea. The Lin Kuei made a bargain with the Vampires a few years before I left. Everyone who went on the mission the vampires needed help on were either killed, drained completely of blood, or turned into Vampires themselves.

Kabal: Dammit. All right everyone, evac NOW.

(The Black Dragons all leave, gathering up their equipment and leaving several explosives to destroy the area. Nitara and the Vampires, all carrying mystic, cursed-looking weaponry come back to the clearing where Kano was, and find his headless corpse near a rock. Written in Kano's blood on the rock is the message "NO DEAL, VAMPIRES," along with a hastily drawn Black Dragon symbol.)

Vampire Warrior: What now, Mistress Nitara?

Nitara: *chuckling* It appears that the Black Dragons are more clever than I thought. Or our reputations preceded us. Either way it doesn't matter. They were small fish, anyway. Barely snacks. Come. We return these weapons to the armory and go home.

(fadeout as the Vampires leave)

Meat
=====

Meat has accepted his fate. He survived Kahn's invasion of Earth, only to be killed by an Extermination Squad and sent to the Netherrealm, which he knew as Hell. There, he was eaten alive over and over again by demons, his skin never allowed to grow back. He laughed in midst of his agonies, knowing the irony of his fate. For in life, he had been a politician, a greedy Southerner who hid behind his religion while hiking up taxes, taking from poor people he felt were too stupid to be born rich. While in Hell, he gained a sublime appreciation for irony, as well as the knowledge of why Raiden took the effort of sparing his soul: Because the god believed that the rich man's resources could be put to use for the heroes.

As if he'd give them over. He was making a deal with Kano before his death, a deal which Kano promptly broke by having the Squad under his command kill him. So now he languished in the Netherrealm, paying over and over for his greed by having demons take from him daily. When he met briefly with Scorpion during Shinnok's attack on the Earthrealm, the spectre asked for his name. He didn't think himself worthy of a true name anymore, so he just claimed that he was a piece of Meat. Scorpion left, losing interest quickly in Meat, allowing him to return to his torment. Then, one day, Nitara entered the Netherrealm and made Meat an offer. Restoration of his human life, and perhaps even greater power, if he would go distract the heroes while she made moves against Raiden, Fujin, and their warriors. Meat wasn't fooled, having heard of Nitara and the Vampire race's reputation in-between torture sessions. Nitara was impressed, so she made him an honest offer: "Come distract the heroes. I'll teach you how to fight in this realm's style, and cast a spell on you to make you ressurect automatically if you are destroyed. Hey, if nothing else, it'll get you out of Hell for a while."

Meat accepted, and after a few weeks of training, stepped out of the Netherrealm for the first in years. Bleeding, dripping, and oozing, he goes to kill, to take out his frustrations and despair on the world around him, hopefully drawing the heroes to him so that Nitara can finish her job. With any luck, if she wasn't beaten, her spell would be permanent. But he had little hope of that actually happening...

He drips blood constantly as he moves about, and EVERY character at the start, save for Moloch and Drahmin, gags at his smell as a sort of intro animation, his smell so bad even flies run away from him. Moloch doesn't react because he's used to Drahmin, and Drahmin just looks happy, as Meat's odor chases his flies away.

(The scene is a mortuary at night, where Meat and Nitara are standing facing each other. Meat staggers up to Nitara, who holds her nose in digust but doesn't move away.)

Meat: I have fulfilled my end of the bargain, Nitara.

Nitara: So you have. Although you are the most pathetic fighter I have ever seen.

Meat: *shakes his head* What did you expect? In life, I was lazy and hired people to fight for me.

Nitara: You are indeed a pathetic creature. So what do you want in return?

Meat: *sighs weakly* I want my soul destroyed.

Nitara: *looks surprised* Why is that?

Meat: *chuckles* I am beyond redemption. I do not want to return to Hell at all. No sane person would want to.

Nitara: *chuckling softly* True enough. Very well.

(Nitara holds out her hand, still clutching her nose with the other. A black mist emerges from her hand, engulphing Meat's body. A green, wispy form is drawn out of him and quickly absorbed into the black mist, which fades away quickly. Meat collapses, just a corpse once more. Nitara stares at it thoughtfully and chuckles, snapping her fingers. Meat, groaning incoherently, gets to his feet again, brandishing his bone sword.)

Nitara: *giggles* No sense wasting a perfectly good zombie warrior. Now go out and slaughter people.

(Meat nods, and shambles out of the mortuary as Nitara teleports away, laughing)

Shinnok

Shinnok had been humiliated for the last time. For years he had struggled to increase his power, first by waging war on the realms. But Raiden and the other Elder Gods defeated him, stripping him of his title and banishing him to the Netherrealm. He took over that dread realm and tried again, seeking out one of the legendary Kamidogu to add to his might. But that plan had been thwarted by the first Sub-Zero. He felt GREAT satisfaction turning him into a spectre after Scorpion killed him. He gained power within the Netherrealm, but it wasn't enough. He wanted more, so he aligned himself with Quan Chi once again, only to find that Quan Chi betrayed him, keeping the amulet to himself all this time, the one Sub-Zero took being a fake.

He had died in the battle with Raiden's forces, and now was a VICTIM of the Netherrealm, rather than its ruler. To make matters more insulting, the original ruler of the Netherrealm had returned and reclaimed his old position in Shinnok's absence, resulting in him not being allowed to regain ANY power. Lucifer took tremendous delight in torturing the dead god, making him suffer for his insolence.

Then Havik ressurected him.

With renewed life came renewed power, renewed godhood. And several satisfying realizations: Raiden had gone mad. The Vampires, led by Baroness Nitara, were loaning him their services in exchange for protection and power. And Shinnok had the perfect opportunity to strike back at the follows of Raiden by feigning loyalty to Raiden himself..

Shinnok poses, and a giant skeletal torso emerges from the ground behind him, taking a swipe at the opponent in a wide arc.

Shinnok goes into a blocking stance, several large spikes of bone shooting up around him in all directions.

Shinnok grabs at his opponent. If he does grab the opponent, he thrusts his hand up into the air, a giant skeletal arm bursting through his flesh as he carries the opponent high into the sky. He then makes the giant bone arm dissolve, his real arm reappears as the opponent falls down.

Shinnok chants briefly in Sanskrit, and slams a MASSIVE amount of flame into the ground, creating a gigantic void leading down into the Netherrealm. A massive skeleton comes out and picks up the terrified opponent, lifting him/her over its head. It then crushes the opponent, blood dripping into the skeleton's open jaws as Shinnok laughs wildly.

Fatality 2: (close) d, d, u + HP + LK
Shinnok places a hand on the opponent's face, and slowly backs away. He holds up his staff, the Kamidogu-style crest glowing as the opponent twitches uncomfortably. Soon after, the opponent's body starts to flop around as his/her skeleton crawls out of his/her skin and starts shambling towards Shinnok as he chuckles ruthlessly.

Harakiri: d, u, d, u + Block
Shinnok slams a massive amount of flames down directly underneath him, creating a void into the Netherrealm which he falls into, chuckling softly. He lands in the lava of the Netherrealm, slowly sinking into it.

Shinnok summons several skeletons, who set up a massage parlor for the opponent. Shinnok massages the opponent's back, the skeletons laying the opponent out on the bed they set up, as another skeleton washes the opponent's hair, another skeleton giving the opponent a manicure.

(The scene is Raiden's palace, although it is in ruins. Raiden lays at Shinnok's feet, Raiden's staff in splinters around him. Fujin and his warriors lay in ruins, charred corpses all around the temple. Shinnok chuckles, his arms folded.)

Shinnok: You miserable little fool.

Raiden: *coughing up blood* You... You betray me too?

Shinnok: *laughing viciously* You must be joking. OF COURSE I betrayed you!

Raiden: *coughing* I thought you understood... I thought you understood my frustration, my hatred...

Shinnok: *smirking* Wrong again, fool. I am in this soley for aqcuisition of power. Now that Fujin and his little dance troupe are dead, there was only you left. And considering the power you expended in the fight, you made my job a lot easier.

Raiden: *gagging* Traitor...

(Raiden, mustering the last of his strength, does a torpedo move, slamming Shinnok into the far wall of the temple. He takes a few electrically-charged swings at Shinnok, but the death god just teleports out of the way and kicks Raiden in the back of the head, sending him sprawling.)

Shinnok: *chuckling wickedly* It's over, Thunder God. You put up a good fight. But now I shall consume your soul, and re-elevate myself to the position of Elder God. And then I shall take my revenge on the fools I hold responsible for my damnation.

(Shinnok holds out his hand to the groaning Raiden, whispering an enchantment in Sanskrit. Lightning plays over Raiden's body as he convulses, screaming as his body becomes engulphed completely in lightning. That lightning then flies into Shinnok's outstretched hand, Shinnok staggering to keep control of the energy flowing into him. Finally, the lightning fades, revealing Raiden's charred skeleton. Shinnok, screaming, claws at his chest, ripping his armor open as the power in him grows. He is engulphed in a column of light as he screams in triumph, growing to giant size and bursts through Raiden's mountaintop temple. Clouds cover the sky thickly as Shinnok laughs, trembling in an aura of sheer power.)

Shinnok: *his voice thunderous* And now I conquer the remaining Elder Gods. And take my rightful place as the Lord Of All.

(Shinnok slashes the air with his hand, ripping a massive tear in the clouds, revealing a bright, shining light. Roaring, his eyes glowing brightly, he flies up into that cloud, brandishing his staff, red lightning trailing from his body.)

Blaze

Blaze is the greatest warrior of a small group of immortal fire beings living in Outworld milennia ago. Disgraced years ago in a battle against an ice demon, Blaze set out on a quest to grow wiser and become stronger. He fought many warriors to an honorable defeat, growing stronger throughout the years, but was eventually defeated by holy men during Shao Kahn's attempt at avenging Shang Tsung's defeat at the hands of Liu Kang. These holy men, loyal to the long dead Dragon King, took Blaze, kicking and screaming all the way, to Onaga's temple. There he was forced to go through a ritual, his mind supressed, replaced by a desire to guard Onaga's egg.

For a little over a year, that is what he did. Then Cyrax came into his chamber at Nitara's request. He battled the cyborg, but lost to him, unprepared for his cybernetic prowess and resistance to his flames. He lay off to one side, unconcious and unnoticed as the battle of the Deadly Alliance played out around him. He woke up long after the battle had completed and Onaga had been defeated, free of the Holy Men's control. Worried at what he saw, he used his mystical flames to analyze the area. His flames told him the story, and he became even more concerned. He knew, though, that he had a small, almost inconsequential advantage: He had been a minor player in the tournament. The only two active competitors in vampire more than likely didn't care about him and the cyborg probably wanted nothing to do with him. He analyzed further, and saw, to his horror, that a God had gone mad. He knew he had to do something, however miniscule his help would be.

And besides: Helping people in need by fighting off the minions of a mad God so that his people could live in peace would be within the goals of his quest.

(The scene is Meat facing down a battered-looking Sareena. She is holding her arm limply, as Meat raises his bone sword, ready to finish her off. Blaze lands on him in a flash of fire and fights with him. Meat fights in his desperate manner to defeat him, but the fight is a clear mismatch in Blaze's favor. He chases off Meat and bows to Sareena.)

Blaze: Greetings, sister monolith. And I must say you are looking much better than one would expect of your species.

Sareena: *bows weakly* Greetings, brother fire demon. Where did you come from?

Blaze: *chuckling weakly* Brainwashed by Onaga's servants into guarding him while he slept as an egg and getting knocked out for several days by a cyborg ninja.

Sareena: *smirking* That'd be Cyrax. He told me about you as I repaired the damage you gave him.

Blaze: *frowning* You know about that?

Sareena: *nodding, standing up and wincing at her injuries* Indeed. I am aiding a ninja named Sub-Zero. His brother, before his corruption into the demon Noob Saibot, aided me, so I am paying him back by aiding his younger brother in his mission. I have found a way to maintain my human appearance for a long time by feeding off outworld energies, and have gathered the young Sub-Zero's allies to ressurect him. The ritual was successful, and we joined the fight against mad Raiden, only to be betrayed by the vampire who guided us. I was seperated from the others, and ended up fighting the walking beef slab back there.

Blaze: *nodding, looking thoughtful* Indeed, this is a dire time. I have come to help.

Sareena: *nodded* I thought so. Fire demons love battles.

Blaze: *grinning, and flaring up* You say that like it's a bad thing. But enough small talk. Let us find a place to heal you, so we can join the fight quickly.

Sareena: Indeed. There is a church over this way. We won't be able to go in the building, but it should be enough to hide on the grounds.

(Blaze nods, turning his flames down enough to brace Sareena by allowing her an arm on his shoulder. They start to walk off.)

Moloch was a simple demon. He liked the finer things of demon life: Torture, eating, rape, and torture. He was content in that. He had even devised something of a dramatic entrance, having his owl carry his ball and chain and drop it, his hand emerging from the ground to catch it, the rest of him bursting out soon after to attack. He loved his work, and had even earned a coveted spot as an Oni tormentor, alongside a demonling named Drahmin. He eventually met up with Quan Chi, and he and Drahmin were recruited to aid him and his ally Shang Tsung. Although their suspicions about the sorceror were confirmed when Shang Tsung enlisted them to keep an eye on Quan Chi.

They ended up fighting Scorpion, throwing him into the Soulnado and watching in amusement as he vanished into it, not knowing that the Elder Gods had charged him with a new fate. They went to see what their masters were doing, only to get blasted aside as Raiden took the fight with the Deadly Alliance inside. Drahmin was hit harder, and sent flying far away, while Moloch was buried under some rubble, knocked unconcious by the blast and unknowingly protected from the explosion Raiden made when he sacrificed himself. He slept, his sleep enforced by Onaga. The true lord of Outworld whispered into his mind throughout the time of the battles, even after his death and rebirth under Shao Kahn's control. Finally, Moloch awoke. He found himself smarter, capable of controlling his agression at will. And he also found himself with a new purpose: Free Onaga from Shao Kahn's control, no matter the cost.

Moloch roars, and swallows his iron ball. It gets stuck in his throat, and he chokes to death on it.

Moloch's owl lands on the opponent's head. Moloch puts on a top hat, and moonwalks out of the arena, the owl and the opponent giving the player a REALLY confused look.

(The scene is Moloch's Lair from MKDA. Moloch is fighting Drahmin angrily, trying to kill him. Drahmin is parrying the savage attacks of his once friend, slowly being backed up against the wall. When Moloch finally does corner Drahmin, he bashes him to death with his ball. He roars triumphantly, as Onaga comes out, applauding.)

Onaga: Very good, my servant.

Moloch: Moloch strong. Moloch kill once-friend for master.

Onaga: That you did. *surveys the mush that used to be Drahmin* That you did indeed. *chuckles* But there is one thing more that you must do for me, my servant.

Moloch: *nods* I kill good for master. Whomever master wants to kill, Moloch will kill.

Onaga: *smirking* I'm glad you think that way, my servant, for the one I wish you to kill now is...

(An explosion cuts them off, the wall crumbling to reveal Shao Kahn standing there, warhammer at the ready, with Shang Tsung, Mileena, Baraka, Motaro, and Tanya at his side, Li Mei's corpse on his shoulder. He snarls at Onaga and Moloch, his eyes flaring beneath the helmet.)

Shao Kahn: Me? Is that whom you wanted killed, oh great Dragon King?

Onaga: *snarling, flaring his wings* I refuse to be your servant, Shao Kahn! In the past, it was YOU who were MY servant!

Shao Kahn: *laughing* Indeed. But now the tide has turned. This time for the better.

(Shao Kahn gestures, and Onaga screams, clutching at the collar around his neck as it glows brightly. Onaga thrashes around, screaming in rage and agony, Moloch looking on in confusion, until finally he collapses. Moloch roars, and starts to run forward to protect his master, when Onaga's arm shoots up, gripping Moloch by the throat.)

Moloch: *gagging* Master!? What Moloch do wrong?

(Onaga says nothing. He just gets to his feet slowly, his eyes glowing dully, the collar flashing at a regular interval. Shao Kahn laughs uproarously, his underlings joining in.)

Shao Kahn: My control collar works PERFECTLY! Now Onaga is mind to command for the rest of his immortal life!

Moloch: *roaring, frustrated* Moloch KILL you and free master!

Shao Kahn: I don't think so, oni! ONAGA!!! FINISH HIM!!!

(Fadeout. Moloch roars angrily, as Onaga opens his mouth, fire welling up in the back of his throat...)

Onaga was the first ruler of Outworld, and its most worthy. He commanded the realm with a firm, but iron hand, crushing all rebellions. The Shokan hated him, but respected him, and the trecherous Centaurians lived in fear of him. The insect people of Thaios, his creations all, lived in secret, thinking themselves hidden from his eye but in truth under his protection. His army of unstoppable zombies, all whom he ressurected instantly upon their death with the power of his magic, kept every creature in the land in line.

Then his idiot advisor got ambitious.

He died, languishing in the realm of the dead for centuries while his treacherous advisor, Shao Kahn, bastardized the Outworld in his image. But he didn't wait around, no. He disguised his spirit as Damashi, a servant of the Elder Gods, manipulating him into retrieving the six Kamidogu so that he could live again. Which confused him, whenever he got the chance to think about it, because he could have ressurected himself at any given time. But he came back to life, and started to attack.

Then he died again, his heart being eaten by Havik. No problem, he could still rebirth himself at any time.

He decided to wait again, to try and figure out why he wanted the six Kamidogu to begin with. But fate, this time, would conspire against him. For Shao Kahn ressurected him, placing an enchanted collar around his neck to keep him in line. But he'd find a way to free himself. All he had to do was wait, and find a way...

He bows to Onaga as he laughs wildly.

Onaga roars, flying up high into the air. He flies hard into the ground, so hard that his head gets stuck in the floor up to his neck. He bends backwards and gets to his feet, his head and spine being ripped out, staying stuck in the floor instead of coming up with him. He staggers for a moment then falls backwards.

Onaga poses, sentai-style, and turns into a large, adorable plush dragon. Female opponents coo and glomp the dragon, grinning happily, while male opponents simply facefault and fall over.

(The scene is Shao Kahn's throne room. Onaga and Shao Kahn are dueling, Onaga no longer wearing the control collar. He is overwhelming Shao Kahn, who is desperately swinging his hammer at him. Finally, after a moment, Onaga kicks Shao Kahn in the chest, sending him flying. Onaga glides over to him before he can get up, and thrusts his sword into Shao Kahn's face, not piercing, but just enough to keep on the ground so he doesn't get impaled. He smirks at the sweating, helmetless warlord, considering.)

Shao Kahn: What's wrong? Why haven't you killed me?

Onaga: I am considering other options. Although BELIEVE me, killing you is a VERY tempting option. You took advantage of my sense of honor, slapping that stupid control collar on me. If I hadn't found the right enchantment to free myself, I would STILL be your slave.

Shao Kahn: ...My lord Onaga, please understand...

Onaga: Understand what, Kahn? That your stupidity and ambition have gotten the better of you yet again? That you've usurped my rightful place in Outworld not once, but TWICE?!

Shao Kahn: *desperate* Please my lord...

Onaga: By my flames, man. Why would you think I'd kill you over showing the ruthless qualities I admire in a servant?

(Shao Kahn gives Onaga a confused look. Onaga just smirks, and helps him to his feet, giving him his helmet and hammer back after picking them up from where they fell.)

Shao Kahn: What are you talking about?

Onaga: *laughing* I need someone like you to keep me at my best, to keep me aware of all threats around me. The fact that you took me off-guard not once, but twice, is a testament to your talent, my dear Shao Kahn. Talent is to be rewarded, not punished.

Shao Kahn: I am not going to be killed, then?

Onaga: Certainly not. I am going to reinstate you as my advisor. I will need your ruthless qualities in the battles to come. For once mad Raiden finishes with his forces, or is defeated by them, we are certainly next.

Sareena, despite having lost her hookblades and having to steal a weapon from lost warrior, had finally absorbed enough energy from Outworld's evil essence to maintain her human form without having to actively be in the realm. She now intended to put this to good use. For she wanted to repay the elder Sub-Zero, now the murderous demon Noob Saibot, by aiding his family and clan, the Lin Kuei. But when she caught up with them, she found Sub-Zero dead, his students in disarray, barely held together by Smoke and Cyrax, who had taken up leadership in his absence. They had caught the vampire Nitara as she tried to take advantage of the Lin Kuei's lack of leadership, and Sareena came up with an idea: Ressurect Sub-Zero and Frost, so that they could guide the clan back to prominence.

She performed an ancient ritual she learned in the Netherrealm to bring Frost back to life, and under Nitara's unwilling guidance, searched for Sub-Zero and brought him to life as well. In the confusion, Nitara escaped, but Sareena chased her, intent on either forcing her back into the Lin Kuei's service, or to kill her so she wouldn't pose a threat. But as she chased the vampire, she found out something shocking: the vampires had aligned themselves with Shinnok, and were the ones manipulating Raiden into threatening the whole world. And more than that, her sisters were alive and working for Shinnok once more.

She knew she had to free them. She had paid her debt to the Lin Kuei by bringing Frost and Sub-Zero back to life, so she could wait to rejoin them. She needed more than anything else to free her sisters from that madman's grip, no matter the cost.

Sareena whips out her sword and slashes her neck with extreme quickness, seemingly having no effect. She twirls her sword and sheathes it. The moment her sword clicks into place in its sheath, her head falls off. She collapses a moment later.

Sareena puts a bowl on the ground, pulling a sack out of seemingly nowhere. She throws a carrot out, and uses her iaido to chop it into bits, the pieces falling into the bowl. She does the same with a tomato, a head of lettuce, three shelled hard-boiled eggs, some peppers, and some cheese. She then holds up the salad, grinning.

(Fade in on just after Blaze's ending. She waves goodbye to the fire demon as he flies off to help the others. She sighs, and turns around to leave, only stop short, gasping. Kia and Jataaka are there, weapons drawn and ready to fight to the death. Jataaka looks determined, but Kia has an uneasy expression on her face.)

Sareena: *sighing* Hello sisters.

Jataaka: *sneering* It's time, Sareena. You've betrayed Lord Shinnok and our vampire allies for the last time.

Sareena: The only we were betraying was ourselves, sisters. Shinnok's way will lead and DID lead to our damnation. We have a second chance now, and I for one intend not to waste it.

Kia: *pleading* Please sister, do not fight us. Return to the service of Lord Shinnok.

Sareena: *taking a fighting stance with her Iaido* NEVER.

Jataaka: *frowning* Then you give us no choice. You will DIE for your treason!!

(Jataaka whips out her ninjato, firing a laser blast, and starts to duel with Sareena. Kia hesitates, and then joins in reclutantly.)

Kia
=======
Kia is one of three sister assassins who served Shinnok in the Brotherhood Of Shadows for most of her near-eternal life. She met her end at the hands of the elder Sub-Zero, now the demonic Noob Saibot, her arrogance and vengeful pride taking its toll on her and allowing her to be slain easily. She languished in the Netherrealm for years, never finding peace, until one day, she found herself reborn in her human form alongside her sister Jataaka. Shinnok, now a supposedly servant of Raiden, had bid them hunt down their sister Sareena, to either convert her back to their side or destroy her. Jataaka took up the cause willingly. But Kia had her doubts.

For in the Netherrealm, her punishment was to see what could have been. She saw her sister Sareena escape the Netherrealm and use Outworld's dark energies to maintain her human appearance. She saw her befriend the remnants of the younger Sub-Zero's Lin Kuei. She saw her risk her life in keeping the vampire Nitara in line, and do so willingly. It was this that helped decimate Kia's pride. And Kia's doubts about who's side she should be on grow larger and larger as they head out on their mission...

(fadein from Sareena's ending, as Kia and Jataaka attack their sister. There is a long, heated battle between the three of them, with Sareena holding her own with surprising skill. Sareena manages to hold off Kia, slamming her against the side of a building. Jataaka, in a rage, transforms to her demonic state and pummels Sareena, defeating her. Kia frowns, slowly getting to her feet as Jataaka changes back, laughing triumphantly.)

Jataaka: Ha HAAAH! The traitor is defeated! Come my sister! I give you the honor of finishing her off!

Kia: *frowning, staring at Sareena for a long moment* ...No...

Jataaka: WHAT?! Why not?!

Kia: Something doesn't feel right about this mission, my sister. In the Netherrealm, I saw that she had found a way to maintain her humanoid form WITHOUT being supplimented by Shinnok's power.

Jataaka: Impossible... *looks unsure*

Kia: Is it? I suggest we take her to Shinnok, and find out for ourselves.

Jataaka: He will kill her.

Kia: *shakes her head* Not at first, I think. But I have to know the truth, Jataaka.

Jataaka: *looks hesitantly at Sareena, and then nods* All right. For you, I will cooperate.

(They pick her up and teleport away using Jataaka's power.)

Jataaka is the third of three demon sisters that served Shinnok in the Brotherhood Of Shadow. Of the three, Jataaka is the eldest of the three and the most loyal to Shinnok, so when she was ressurected by Shinnok, freed from her endless torture in the Netherrealm, she was grateful. She and Kia returned to Shinnok's service willingly, readying themselves to do his bidding. He came up with a mission for them quickly: Kill Sareena, who had betrayed the Brotherhood and aligned herself with the Lin Kuei.

Righteous fury filled Jataaka as she heard of her youngest sister's betrayal. More than that she felt personally betrayed, for she had always been there for her two younger sisters when they needed her. She knew her duty: hunt her sister down and bring her to justice. She would slay her sister in the name of the great demon God SHINNOK, who had given her life and new powers! But Kia, normally cocky and arrogant, seemingly had doubts about her mission. She did not understand this, since duty was all that mattered. And Kia's doubts began to nag at her, even through the knowledge that she had a job to do...

(The scene is Shinnok's opulet quarters in Raiden's palace. He is relaxing, helmet off, his silver hair streaming over his shoulders as several beautiful slavegirls attend to him. Jataaka and Kia appear in a spiral of black flame, carrying Sareena in-between them. They throw her down roughly, and she groans weakly. Kia winces, but a look from Jataaka silences her.)

Jataaka: *bows* My lord, we have brought you the traitor.

Shinnok: *chuckling and coming down to Sareena* Excellent. Good work, my servants.

(Shinnok saunters up to the dazed Sareena and grips her by the chin. She glares at him and spits in his face, but he just chuckles, wiping his face clean.)

Shinnok: You will re-learn respect for me, small one.

Kia: *hesitating* My lord, how is it she is able to maintain her human form without sustaining energy from you?

Shinnok: It matters not.

Kia: But can it be done?

Shinnok: *glaring* Didn't you hear me? It matters not.

(Kia looks to like she's about to say something else. Jataaka, nervous, tries to stop her, but Raiden suddenly bellows for Shinnok. The dark god rolls his eyes and stands up.)

Shinnok: Stay here. Don't let her out of your sight. This won't take long. *leaves the room as Raiden bellows again*

Jataaka: *frowns, staring at Sareena* I am curious, my sister... How is it that you can maintain your human form without Shinnok's blessing?

Sareena: *sneering* Why do you even care? You wish only to serve Lord Shinnok.

Jataaka: Indulge me. For old time's sake.

Sareena: *glaring at her a moment, then sighs* Demons of our type can syphon energy. Outworld's energy can be used to maintain our human states. I have absorbed more than enough to keep me human in this realm.

Kia: *looking shocked* So it CAN be done? We do not need to stay with Lord Shinnok?

Jataaka: *frowning* You would leave as well, then?

Kia: *nods shyly*

Jataaka: *shaking her head, sighing* Then I suppose that I will go with you.

(Sareena and Kia both look shocked. Jataaka just smiles.)

Jataaka: *chuckles softly* You are my younger sisters, it is my job to take care of you.

Sareena: *grinning widely, getting to her knees* You will not regret it, my sister, I promise you.

Jataaka: *smirks* I'd better not. Now let's get out of here, and find a portal to Outworld.

(Jataaka gestures, and the three of them vanish in a flash of light.)

No-Face lived life by a simple philosphy: Kick ass, take names, and flash-fry anything you don't like. He had joined the Black Dragon for the simple fact that they wouldn't hold him back, or try to control his white hot anger. They even gave a specialized flamethrower to help him direct that wild anger. He worked his way quickly through the ranks of the Dragons, eventually joining Tremor, Tasia, and Jarek in an elite squadron working directly under Kano himself. But on their first mission, No-Face was killed by Jax, who was trying to prevent them from succeeding. Naturally, the ruthless killer was sent to the Netherrealm.

There, the flames only fueled his anger, turning his rage into all-out insanity. He longed to return to life, to make his enemies burn for the Black Dragon once again. And then he got his wish, in the form of the Chaos Cleric Havik. He ressurected all of Kano's elite squad, including Kano himself, who had been cornered and killed by Mavado during the battle against the Deadly Alliance, uniting them once. He was ready. He was set. His rage would not be contained. And his vengeance would be complete. Jax would burn at last...

A huge boar comes onto the stage, trotting into the camera's view. No-Face blinks at it, and pulls a curtain over his side of the stage that says 'CENSORED.' Obscene cutting and burning noises come from behind the curtain for several seconds as the opponent looks startled. When the curtain comes back up, the pig is smoldering, golden brown on a spit on a makeshift grill, while No-Face is posing in a sentai-esque fashion. The opponent slowly turns towards the screen and holds up a sign that says "Help me..."

(The scene is a forest that the Black Dragons are using as a lair. No-Face is in a clearing, ranting and raving to a flash-fried skeleton with metal arms, gesticulating wildly as he stomps in a circle around the skeleton.)

No-Face: You see Jax, you shouldn't have done what you did. You shouldn't have killed me the way you did. It hurt my feelings Jax. It made me sad. I didn't like burning Jax, I really didn't. I like BURNING people, as you well know, but I don't like burning myself. Fire hurts Jax. I didn't like the fire they used on my in Hell, Jax. It made me not like fire, and I'm supposed to LOVE fire. Fire is ME Jax, I'm not supposed to hate fire! YOU MADE ME HATE my fire, Jax! But I'm a forgiving sort, I am. Yes. That's what they always tell me in churches, one of the few things that I listened to. Forgive and forget. So I forgave you, Jax. I forgave you. That's why I burned you, Jax. To forgive you for making me hate my fire. You seemed to like the fire, though. Heh. At least you were dancing around and singing a song when I burned you. What was that song Jax? I couldn't recognize the tune. Was is a rap song? I know black people like you like rap. LL Cool J? Coolio? I don't know. Or care, really. It's a shame you got too tired to dance and sing, Jax, even after I burned you a few more times. Really, I did like the song. Why don't you get up and dance for me again? Too tired? Okay, but I will expect a dance again quite soon, Jax. I get bored so easily, Jax. Being bored is no fun, because then I start to hear other songs, Jax, songs from other people I burned that weren't so good. Their songs were bad, and offensive to the Black Dragons, so I have to make them stop singing they won't stop SINGING and DANCING and I have to MAKE THEM STOP SINGING!!!

(No-Face starts screaming, raving around and shooting his flamethrower in all directions. From the shadows nearby, Kano, Tasia, Jarek, Kabal, Kira, Kobra, and Tremor are watching with varying expressions of nervousness.)

Kano: Jarek. You're sure he's totally loyal to us?

Jarek: *gulping, nodding* Yes sir.

Kano: Good. Find a suicide mission for him to go on. NOW.

Tasia was always proud of her beauty, and had used it to great advantage. Admittedly a mediocre fighter at first, she used her sexual talents to rise up the ranks of the Black Dragon, sometimes killing those in her way as she made love to them, male or female. She wasn't picky. She eventually got promoted and was the first to join an elite squad headed up by one of the Black Dragon's highest ranking officials, Kano. She tried to seduce him, but he was ready for her. He humiliated her, dominated her in ways she never knew possible. Shocked by this, she became afraid for her life. But Kano simply took her under his wing, training her to be as deadly a warrior as she was a lover. And over time, Tasia began to fall in love with Kano. She took great pleasure in the torments he gave the military woman Sonya Blade, and savored it each time he turned to her to brag about them. She was debating confessing how she felt to him, when Kano's squad was sent on an important mission, faking their capture and then breaking out to retrieve a powerful mystic artifact. She volunteered to deal with Jax after No-Face's death, and tried to seduce him to their side, using all her feminine wiles to great effect.

It almost worked, but not entirely. Jax fought her and killed her, fate sending her to the Netherrealm for her sins. There she was tortured, forced to be the unwilling lover of a thousand monsters and demons, becoming a favored plaything of the succubi of that realm. She started to sink into despair, when she felt her soul being brought back to her body. The first sight upon her awakening was Kano, standing next to the Chaos Cleric Havik. She listened briefly to Kano's explanation of how she came to live again, and then hugged him tightly, all her repressed feelings spilling out. Havik laughed at the expression on Kano's face and left, as Kano just hugged her back and said while he was pleased to hear it, it was a little sudden, and there were more pressing things to worry about. Which was fine for the lovestruck Tasia. The Red Dragon, Sonya Blade's special forces, Fujin and his warriors, they are nothing. For Kano, for his Black Dragon, she would do anything.

Tasia smirks, and grabs her opponent, kissing him/her passionately. The opponent steps back, bracing him/herself for an explosion or some other bad effect. When there is none, the opponent looks pleased, and kisses Tasia back.

(The scene is a makeshift arena in a warehouse set up with the Black Dragon logo carved into the wall. Tasia and Mavado are facing off in the center of the ring, with Tremor, No-Face, Jarek, Kano, Kira, Kabal, Kobra and several nameless Black Dragons, obviously new recruits, watching from the sidelines and cheering her own. Mavado, already badly injured, scowls at her.)

Mavado: My death means nothing. The Red Dragon will hunt you all down and destroy you.

Tasia: And we will kill them just as I will kill you, Mavado. Now shut up and fight.

(The battle continues. It is a fierce fight, with both Tasia and Mavado scoring brutal hits on one another. Finally, though, Tasia manages to cheat enough to send Mavado flying. She holds her swords up to him, smirking.)

Tasia: Beg me for mercy, Red Dragon.

(Mavado just starts laughing. Tasia, frowning, more than a little unnerved, hacks him into chunks, to the great cheers of the gathered Black Dragons. She comes up to Kano, staggering, and bows. Kano grins.)

Kano: Good job, luv. Y'sure donnered him good.

Tasia: *nodding weakly* Thank you sir. Can I fall down now?

Kano: *blinks, then chuckles* Sure. I'll take you t'the infirmary.

(Tasia nods, and falls forward into Kano's arms. He chuckles, and carries her off the arena floor, garning hoots and hollars from various Black Dragon members.)

(Fadeout, then fadein on the infirmary, where Tasia is watching television, bored out of her mind. Kano comes in, bearing flowers.)

Tasia: *grinning* How sweet!

Kano: *smirking* Stole 'em just f'you, luv. I didn't know what kind y'liked, so I just grabbed some of all of them. And, there's something else....

(Kano sits down, handing Tasia the flowers. He pulls a small, black box from his vest pocket, and opens it, revealing a diamond ring.)

Kano: *grinning wickedly* It's Sonya's engagement ring. Y'know my little fetish for tormenting the good General, so I figured this would both piss her off even more, and be a good way of poppin' a certain question t'you.

Tasia: *grinning widely* Are you trying to say...

Kano: *nods, smirking* I am. You're smart, ruthless, cunning, a bit of a slut (which is fine, as I like t'watch as much as I do actually participate), in my view, the perfect woman. We'd be a fine match for each other. So what d'ya say, luv?

Suijin, the Water God, was one of four Gods that the elder Sub-Zero fought when he was searching for the Kamidogu at Shinnok's behest. Irritated by his defeat, but not entirely concerned by it, Suijin retreated to his ocean world to hone his skills. Somewhat apathetic for a God, he didn't even realize that Shinnok had returned until it was too late. His temple was destroyed, leaving him without a place of worship.

But still, that didn't matter to Suijin. He considered it a boon, giving him the chance to focus entirely on growing stronger. He trained for years, and deemed himself ready to return. But when he did, he found that the elder Sub-Zero was dead, turned into the murderous spectre Noob Saibot. Suijin cursed his bad luck, for it was SUB-ZERO, not Noob Saibot that he wished to face. Facing boredom with nothing left to do, he joined Fujin's efforts to stop mad Raiden, lending his powers to their cause. Not because he feared for the realms, but because he was sad at how deluded Raiden had become...

(Fujin, the Fire God Kagatsuchi, and the Earth God Oho-Yama are fighting Raiden viciously in the throne room of his temple. Suijin the Water God lays off to one side, groaning, electricitiy surrounding his body. The battle is going badly, and first Fujin, then Kagatsuchi, then Oho-Yama are knocked aside, falling unconcious against the sides of the temple, joining the various unconcious mortals. Raiden snarls, then glares at Suijin.)

Raiden: Fool. None shall stand in my way. I will clense this world, make it pure, make it SAFE.

Suijin: Listen to yourself, Thunderer. You have lost your mind.

Raiden: *laughing* My mind is clearer now than it ever has been. I will not be swayed in my beliefs.

Suijin: *pleading, on his knees* Stop this, Raiden. Stop this before you destroy us all.

Raiden: *snorting* Huh. Why would an apathetic fool like you care about the destruction of this world?

Suijin: *shaking his head* You mistake apathy for realism. Our time has passed, Raiden. We must move on.

Raiden: *powers flaring* NO!! I cannot let these mortals destroy the Earth! Their foolishness will ruin everything!

Suijin: Then let it. It is no longer our place to decide their fate.

Raiden: We are needed now more than ever.

Suijin: *sighing* We are not needed at all, Raiden. The most we need to do is inform them and prepare them for attacks from Outworld and other such forces. But if you are too blind to see that, then I must take action.

Raiden: *laughing* And what would a weak god like you do to stop me?

Suijin: This.

(Suijin turns to water completely and envelops Raiden before the shocked god can react, forming a bubble around him. Raiden screams, his powers reacting to Suijin's water form, sparks flying everywhere. The two gods explode, sending the heroes flying out of the temple as it explodes into shards. Slowly, they get to their feet, looking at the ruins of Raiden's temple. Liu Kang stands up, a horrified look on his face.)

Liu Kang: Lord Raiden?

Mileena had taken more than enough. She had successfully driven off Baraka, but when Onaga had been beaten, Kitana returned along with that fool Liu Kang and his comrades. She had been driven off, banished from Edenia, and now she had nothing. Kitana hadn't even seen fit to kill her, she had just exiled her, claiming she was done with her. So now Mileena wandered the barrens of Outworld, barely avoiding roving Tarkatan males looking for a mate-slave, all dignity lost. And as she wandered, she thought back to her childhood with Kitana. She had been created in infancy, to be a sister for Kitana, who had recently been brainwashed by Shang Tsung to be Shao Kahn's daughter. The two had grown up together, training hard over the years, experiencing everything together as sisters, friends forever, with Shao Kahn as a stern, sometimes scary, but always loving father. He seemed to prefer Kitana over her, but he showed her some affection, and that was more than enough. But then Kitana had started to remember her past. She remembered Sindel, she remembered Jerrod. And at the Outworld tournament, where Shao Kahn had acted directly against Raiden's forces, she had been betrayed, Kitana declaring that she was not her sister and striking her down. Shao Kahn brought her back to life, treating her with love she had been wanting for so long, and ordering her to hunt down and slay Kitana. But even then she knew that his words were false, so desperate for love was she. She finally even accepted the romantic advances of the Tarkatan Baraka, becoming his mate. But that did not last long, as she was slain again by Kitana, sent once more to the Netherrealm.

There she encountered Shinnok, who made her an offer of life in exchange for service. Bitter, slowly becoming devoid of emotions, she accepted, and served under the fallen Elder alongside the Tarkatan Baraka, only to have Shinnok be defeated before she could truly take advantage of him. At Baraka's encouragement, Mileena went to Kitana, sighting her sisterhood to the princess and demanding royal title and rights. Kitana then divulged the truth about her creation, telling Mileena that she was merely a clone, a hybrid of herself and a Tarkatan female, created by Shang Tsung in another attempt to control Kitana, to keep her loyal to Shao Kahn, and eventually replace her. Horrified, Mileena denied it flatly, attacking Kitana in an attempt to kill her. But she was defeated quickly, and sent to the dungeons of the Edenian castle. In her time inside the dungeons, Mileena came to accept that she was a clone, designed to replace Kitana. And that knowledge became madness, growing into rancid hatred for Kitana's betrayals of their 'family.' Soon, Baraka freed Mileena from the dungeons, and took him to his new master, Onaga, who proudly displayed Kitana's mind-controlled form in a sluttish blue costume. Impressed, but no longer caring about Baraka or anyone else, she laughed at her sister, who simply stood their mindlessly, not reacting to her taunts. Onaga offered her a similar costume, only in magenta, the color of her past outfits, and gave her a new job: lead Kitana's armies in delaying actions, to allow him access to the realms. She accepted eagerly, thinking that her purpose had finally been fulfilled at last. She just needed that fool Baraka out of the way to seal the deal. She killed one of his subordinates, and had her army, led by the bumbling but noble Bo' Rai Cho, chase him into the depths of Outworld. She relaxed, thinking that she could rule forever now.

Then Onaga fell, defeated by the warrior Shujinko and the allies he had gathered, Kitana and the other captured warriors freed by Liu Kang and Ermac. Mileena was forced out of power, and sent far into the lands. Her hatred shifted towards herself, for ever believing in anything or anyone. She paused at a reflecting pool, staring at the mismatched horror of her face, Kitana's radiant beauty mixed with the form of a hideous Tarkatan, and considered killing herself.

Then Shao Kahn, the only father she had ever known, contacted her. Reluctantly, she went back to him, seeing no other course for herself, not caring about seeing Kitana again for revenge. But when she got there, what she saw horrified her, appealed to the part of her taken from Kitana.

Jerrod! The true king of Edenia was alive, and being forced to serve under Shao Kahn! Confused, she asked Shao Kahn about how this could be, and was shown the crystal Havik made him. Mileena forced herself to sound impressed and pleased, proclaiming her loyalty loudly to Shao Kahn and confidence in his eventual victory. It is fortunate that he believed her sincerity, for otherwise what she did would have been discovered quickly. She brought Jerrod aside, told him of her origins, and begged him to tell her what to do. Her hatred for Kitana, upon seeing the Edenian warlord again, had melted away, replaced by the memories of the family they had. If she could give Kitana her father back, then maybe she could be a sister to Kitana again, as in the old days. Jerrod, more than a little stunned by such a frank confession of intent from the half-Tarkatan princess, came up with a plan. After telling it to her, Mileena contacted Kitana via the mental link they still shared, and opened her mind totally to her 'sister,' so that her purpose and good intentions were to be believed. Reluctantly, too overjoyed by her father's ressurection and too horrified by his enslavement to disagree, she agreed to let Mileena help them by acting as a spy, and to give her a fair trial when Jerrod was rescued.

Mileena agreed wholeheartedly to Kitana's plan. Thoughts of vengeance were stripped from her totally, replaced by hope. Hope that she would finally have a family, a real family, not a Shao Kahn made fakery, at last...

Mileena snarls, twirling her sais. She sheaths them at her hips, and pulls of her veil. She walks up to her opponent and gnaws through their shoulders, ripping his/her arms off. She then shoves the severed arms down the screaming opponent's throat, making him/her choke to death on their own arms.

Mileena whips out her sais, twirls them, and stabs herself in the throat and stomach with them.

Mileena poses and dashes by her opponent, Kabal-style, the opponent spinning into a barely visible blur. When the opponent stops spinning, they are dressed in an exact replica of her costume, save for the coloring. (Example: Sonya's outfit is camo, Ermac's is red, Rain's is purple, Frost's is blue, etc.) Women look moderately pleased at how they look in the outfit, as Mileena saunters up to her opponent and poses sexily with them. MALE opponents blush, embarassed at how they look, and glare at Mileena as she laughs .

(The scene is the throne room of the Edenian palace. Jerrod, who is flirting with a smiling, grateful Sindel, both sitting at their thrones, are at the highest point of the room. Kitana, on a smaller throne, sit next to her mother. Fujin floats off to one side, a passive observer, Liu Kang and Jade standing by Kitana and Jerrod respectively, while Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Jax, Kung Lao, Nightwolf, Stryker, Bo' Rai Cho, and Ermac sit in varying ways on the vast staircase leading up to the Edenian royal family's throne room, in varying stages of relaxed, a stark contrast from the various Edenian citizens around them. Two armored guards come in, carting a shackled Mileena, who has her head bowed and does resist the two of them, causing the crowd to start murmuring. The guards set her at the foot of the stairs, a small distance in front of the warriors of Earth. Mileena stares up at them, as they stare right back at her. Stryker takes out a grenade and starts rolling it around his hand. Mileena, taking the meaning, quickly averts her gaze. Sindel looks at Kitana, who nods and stands up.)

Kitana: People of Edenia. This is a hearing to determine the fate of my replicant, Mileena.

(Mileena sighs, and the warriors of Earth sit up, becoming more alert. Kitana nods to the crowd as they become silent. Sindel stands next.)

Sindel: Mileena was created as a clone of my daughter, her DNA combined with that of a Tarkatan female. She was presented as a sister to Kitana by the sorcerer Shang Tsung, although his and Shao Kahn's eventual intent was for her to replace Kitana, making Kahn's hold on our throne unconstested.

Kitana: She and I grew up together, training as Shao Kahn's personal bodyguards and assasins. But when I discovered my past, she remained loyal to Shao Kahn, and fought against me in his tournament. I was forced to kill her. Twice she has been ressurected from death at my hands, serving both Shinnok and the vicious Onaga. She has killed many a brave soul in battle, has fought mightily for the forces of evil.

(Mileena winces, bowing her head, ashamed. Kitana frowns, still not quite sure she believes what she is seeing. She sighs, and looks at her mother, who just shrugs, continuing to speak.)

Sindel: But yet she has thrown her apparent hatred of Kitana aside to aid us in our time of greatest need, not only helping us defeat the reborn Onaga and Shao Kahn, but returning noble Jerrod to us, and helping us in the fight against Shinnok, the vampires, and mad Raiden.

Kitana: *smiling now* She has shown bravery and valor, and signs of true love and affection towards he who has been Father to the whole Kingdom, our great and noble leader.

(Jerrod looks sheepish. Sindel smirks meaningfully at him, causing him to blush. Kitana just shakes her head and continues.)

Kitana: Mileena has granted us a great boon, so we give her a chance to present her case, and earn her H'ein N'ia K'u, her Second Chance at Life.

Sindel: Mileena. Tell us why you have done this thing.

Mileena: *sighing wearily, still looking at the floor* When I was deposed from my impersonation of Kitana, it came as the latest in a long series of failures. I started to remember our childhood together, when Shao Kahn had you believing that you were his daughter, and I your sister. Those were happy times, Kitana, whether you think of them as such or not.

Kitana: *looks uncomfortable, and a brief flashback occurs where she invisions Shao Kahn reading two young girls, one wearing a mask around her mouth, a story*

Mileena: Kahn was a harsh, stern father, but in his own way he cared for us as if we were his real children. I remember those times because I felt loved. I was happy. But now... Now I know that Kahn was simply using us both. Beings such as he cannot care, cannot feel love. And after my foolish dealings with Shinnok, Baraka, and Onaga, I started to wonder if I could feel love, true love as well. I considered ending my life, when Shao Kahn called me back. *she stares at Jerrod, who frowns sadly* I saw Jerrod. And almost immediately, the part of me that was Kitana remembered. Remembered EVERYTHING, all the love, all the joy she felt from her life. And I felt agony that shook me to my core.

(This reaction is met with shock. Sindel's eyes widen. Kitana blinks, and recieves an image of Mileena walking into the throne room of Shao Kahn and seeing Jerrod, gasping as she feels her shock. The crowd starts murmuring again, as the various Earthrealm warriors trade nervous looks.)

Mileena: *nods* That is when I knew what I had to do. I may be just a clone, but he was still my true father, if only indirectly. I could not let him stay in Shao Kahn's power.

Kitana: *still concentrating, still looking into Mileena's mind, she sees a vision of Mileena taking Jerrod aside, pleading desperately for him to flee, or to tell her how to help him. And just before her vision ends, Mileena shifts, becoming Kitana, and it is the princess herself starting to relieve this vision. Tears start to flow down her face fearly, as Liu moves toward her, concerned*

Sindel: *clutches her daughters arm, frowning* Kitana?

Kitana: *wiping her eye quickly, sniffling* Mileena. Should you be given H'ein N'ia K'u, what would you do to make use of it?

Mileena: *sighing* I would hope to recapture the happy times we shared as children, Kitana. Before you started to remember the past Kahn stole from you. At least this way, one of us gets to have their whole family back. As for I myself... I am tired of running. Tired of doing the bidding of whatever monster comes to take me. I wish now to live as normal a life as I possibly can. But I will accept the decision of the royal family.

Kitana: ...Very well, Mileena. We shall review your case and render our decision.

(Mileena nodded nervously as the various Earthrealm fighters stared up towards the royal family. Sindel and Kitana sat down, leaning in to talk quietly with each other, motioning for Jade and Liu to do the same thing.)

Sindel: Well? *spreads her hands, obviously lost on what to do*

Kitana: *bites her lip nervously* I can sense through our mental link that her feelings are genuine.

Jerrod: She WAS the primary reason you even knew of my return. Shao Kahn forced me to be a stealth assasin, fighting in the shadows so no one would notice me.

Liu Kang: Are you sure that it is not a trick? Shang Tsung's skills are many.

Jade: *snorts* You give him too much credit. He left me my memories because he knew that my childhood loyalty to Kitana would keep me at her side, and tended to gloat to me about his progress with the two of them. He thought I would grow accustomed to life under Shao Kahn, and savor what was going to happen to Kitana.

(Jade and Liu smirk, trading high fives.)

Jade: He thought wrong.

Sindel: *frowning* Still... She has commited a great many crimes against Edenia, in Shao Kahn's name, in Shinnok's name, and in Onaga's.

Liu Kang: *looks thoughtful for a moment* ...Hnnn, playing devil's advocate for a moment she DID help us willingly against Raiden once the battle with Shao Kahn was completed.

Kitana: And risked her life fighting Nitara to save me.

Sindel: *frowning, looking thoughtful*

Jerrod: *smirking, cupping his wife's chin* You did tell me that you wanted to give Kitana a sister, a sibling. This way, at least, you don't have to go through the strain of carrying Mileena to term.

Sindel: *shivers, smiling wistfully* Indeed. Very well, I have an idea, then.

(The camera pans away as the royals, the guard captain Jade and Kitana's consort Liu converse, panning down to the Earthrealm warriors, who are staring anxiously back and forth between Mileena and the royals. Finally, after a long moment, Jerrod and Sindel, hand in hand, with Kitana standing a little in front of them, stand up and step forward. The Earthrealm warriors get to their feet, as it seems a proclamation is about to be made.)

Jerrod: Good people of Edenia. We have reached a decision regarding Mileena's fate.

Sindel: Although she was born of the magic of the vile sorcerer Shang Tsung, and has commited a great many crimes, her desire for redemption seems geniune.

Kitana: She will be monitored constantly, via the mental link she and I share. Should thoughts of betrayal or evil cross her mind, I will know immediately.

(Mileena's eyes widen, as Kitana smiles warmly down at her. Cage, Sonya, and several others look shocked, realizing where this is going.)

Jerrod: To that end, we grant Mileena H'ein N'ia K'u, a Second Chance at Life. A probationary chance, but a legitimate one.

(Sindel gestures, her hand glowing, and the chains fall off Mileena. She stands up, her legs shaking, staring wide-eyed at the royals. Cage's sunglasses slip down his nose as he stares in shock.)

Sindel: She will be given full royal title as Princess, and be accepted as part of our family.

(Mileena staggers, not quite believing what she's hearing. Sindel smiles warmly down at her, as Jerrod smirks.)

Jerrod: In addition, she shall be granted a boon. Come forward child. *motions for her to come forward*

(Slowly, nervously, she heads up the steps towards Jerrod, Sindel, and Kitana. The Earthrealm warriors part warily, but let her pass. Mileena starts to kneel before Jerrod and Sindel, but is prevented from doing so by Kitana. She stares at her sister, confused.)

Sindel: *smiling* Take off your veil, child.

(Mileena gulps nervously, and removes her veil, revealing her Tarkatan mouth. Her yellow cats-eyes blink as Sindel smiles, and kisses her on the forehead. A light envelops her, causing Mileena to gasp. It grows to blinding intensity, and fades quickly. But when it does, it reveals a change. Slowly, her hands shaking badly, Mileena reaches up to touch her now HUMAN, totally HUMAN face. Her mouth is now normal, her eyes normal as well, and she looks to be the perfect twin of Kitana. The Earthrealm warriors gape at Mileena's transformation, Jade and Liu looking amazed despite the fact that they were told the plan earlier. Kitana's grin steadily grows wider.)

Mileena: H-H-How...

Jerrod: *grinning widely* A simple spell, child. To purge the evil Tarkatan essence from you, removing Shang Tsung's taint from your body.

Sindel: You are as you were truly meant to be, Mileena. Beautiful, strong, an Edenian princess. Welcome home, my daughter.

Mileena: *her voice wavering, she hugs Sindel tightly, tears of joy streaming down her face* MOTHER!! *quickly, she draws Jerrod and Kitana into the hug as well*

(The crowd begins to cheer, praising the new princess. Ermac chuckles, seemingly pleased with this arrangement, and begins to applaud as well. Stryker and Nightwolf trade doubtful looks but decide to go with the majority and applaud as well. Kung Lao gives Liu Kang a look, and he just shrugs. Kung Lao shakes his head, smirking, and decides to give Mileena the benefit of the doubt, applauding. Cage is still gawking, as Sonya looks the scene over appraisingly.)

Sonya: Hmmm... Seems sincere enough... Hell, we gave a Lin Kuei killer cyborg a chance, I don't see why she shouldn't get one.

Jax: *shaking his head, grinning* Goddamn. Fangface turns out to be a babe!

Bo' Rai Cho: Heheh. Guess she won't be desperate enough to go out with me, eh? *chuckles lavaciously, admiring Mileena's butt*

(Sonya clocks both of them in the face with her Kali sticks, staggering them back, breaking Cage out of his stunned trance to laugh at the two of them and garnering amused laughter from the crowd. Jerrod looks down at her, confused.)

Jerrod: Do I even want to know?

Sonya: *shakes her head* No, your majesty.

(Jerrod shakes his head, laughing. The hug finally breaks up, and the royal family stands together. Mileena and Kitana in the center, arms around each other's waists, indentical smiles on their identical faces. Sindel stands on one side, Jerrod on the other, with Liu and Jade slightly in front of them as an honor guard.)

Jerrod: Good people of Edenia, behold our daughters! Princess Mileena, and Princess Kitana!

(The crowd cheers loudly, as Fujin, over in his corner of the room, smiles and teleports away.)

(fadeout on Mileena's happy face)

(fadein on a balcony in a hotel in New York City, the Statue Of Liberty in the distance. The time is a year after Mileena rejoined the royal family. Kitana is leaning out over the balcony, clad in blue robes, her belly bulging slightly. She sighs, as Liu comes up behind her.)

Liu Kang: So... Glad you got back from your visit home okay. How are things working out with Mileena?

Kitana: *sighing, smiling at Liu* She is most definetly eager to please. The main problem we're having is trying to calm her down when she does something wrong. So afraid is she of displeasing father and mother that she goes into a panic when she makes a mistake. But all in all, she is doing well. She even managed to catch and imprison Baraka and Noob Saibot. And she was VERY pleased to see that she's getting a niece or nephew in a couple months. *grins, running a hand over her swollen belly*

Liu Kang: *smiles, kissing Kitana lovingly* It's been a strange ride, hasn't it beloved? From Mortal Kombat, to Raiden, and everything in-between, especially your sister defecting back to our side... I never thought we'd have this much peace.

Kitana: *laughs wearily* I never thought I'd have my family again. But not only to I have my parents back, but I have a sister, a man I adore more than life itself, and a child on the way. *smiles, nuzzling Liu* I have everything I ever wanted.

Liu Kang: *smiles warmly* Now and forever, I am yours, Kitana.

Kitana: *kisses him* I'm glad to hear it.

Liu Kang: *chuckles* Now, I do have SOMETHING in mind for us to do tonight.

Kitana: *smirks, pressing herself up to him* Oh really? Some more 'endurance training?'

Mileena: *appears behind Liu, her hair cut short, clad in bluejeans and a magenta halter top* Of a sense.

Kitana: *blinks, and blushes* Mileena, where did you come from?

Mileena: *grins, holding up three tickets* From Ticketmaster. I've got tickets to see Johnny Cage's new movie.

Kitana: *blinks* You actually WATCH that tripe?

Liu Kang: *laughing* This one is a little different. It's a comedy, starring not only are dear friend Johnny, but Sonya Blade, Jax, and Kung Lao.

Mileena: *grinning, and motioning for Kitana to get dressed* C'mon! You can play with your boytoy monk any day.

Kitana: *blinking, shocked* He actually convinced the three of them to do a movie with them?

Mileena: Up to and INCLUDING a Johnny/Sonya romantic scene, if the teasers were to be believed.

Kitana: *laughs* This I have to see. Let's go.

(fadeout as they walk back into the apartment)

Kagatsuchi the Fire God was one of the four gods who battled the elder Sub-Zero when Shinnok sent him out on his mission. Kagatsuchi fought bravely, striking hard against the ice warrior. But his overconfidence brought him down, allowing Sub-Zero to gain a victory against him. He cursed his defeat, and returned to his temple to train. But soon after, Shinnok and his forces came, along with a surprising combatant, Noob Saibot, who fought in a very familiar style...

It took his heavenly senses a moment, but he recognized the warrior's spirit: it was the elder Sub-Zero! The warrior had died and gone to the Netherrealm, becoming corrupt, deadly. He was concerned. But his concern would have to wait. He needed to rebuild. After many months, his temple was restored. But in that time, much had happened. The rise and fall of both the Deadly Alliance and Onaga, as well as Raiden's madness, his alliance with Shinnok and the Vampires, and the rampant ressurections of Havik. Angered by the Chaos Cleric' insolence, he joined his brother Gods in battling the various menaces. But there was something else. Something driving all of the villains, even mad Raiden... Something dangerous that only he and the warrior Ermac seemed able to sense...

(The scene starts in the ruins of Raiden's temple, in the throne room. Fujin is talking with Kagutsuchi, Suijin, and Oho-Yama, although what they are saying cannot be heard. Kagutsuchi, finally, shakes his head and breaks off from the group, wandering deep into the temple. Finally, he stops at a balcony, looking out over the ocean. He sighs, and turns, Ermac having appeared behind him.)

Kagutsuchi: You've sensed it as well, then.

Ermac: Yes. A force has been guiding every major evil in our world since Liu Kang's first tournament. Shao Kahn, Onaga, Shinnok, the cunning Vampires, even Raiden. None have seemed aware of it. And the only other one we can be sure of who is aware of this problem is Havik.

Kagutsuchi: And no one in their right mind would trust him. *he sighs* So now what?

Ermac: The first thing, we think we must find out what this force is.

Kagutsuchi: I already know. It took me a while, but I finally realized what we're up against.

Ermac: *looks startled* You do?

Kagutsuchi: The One Being. The entity from which all our realms were forged from. When the Elder Gods were born, they battled him, seperating him into the many dimensions of this universe, creating many, many realms. But the conciousness of this being remains, and it is powerful enough to influence others.

Ermac: That's why Raiden, Nitara, and Shinnok gathered the Kamidogu from the ruins of Onaga's personal arena...

Kagutsuchi: Indeed. All he needs are six Kamidogu, and he can merge all the realms into one. Shao Kahn's conquest of the realms was only the first step, as Onaga's tricking Shujinko into gathering the Kamidogu the second, and Shinnok's murder of several Elder Gods the third.

Ermac: If Onaga or Raiden had succeeded in merging them...

Kagutsuchi: Then all of us would die, becoming a part of the One Being's soul. Only the Elder Gods would be left, and with their numbers reduced, they wouldn't stand a chance.

Ermac: By all that's holy...

Kagutsuchi: *smiling* We must be on watch always, but can rest for now, though. Raiden is defeated, Nitara and Havik are neutralized, and Shao Kahn, Onaga, and Shinnok are dead. We have fought hard, and deserve a chance to simply live life.

Ermac: *chuckling* Indeed. We do.

(scene switches to a dark chamber bearing six coffins, shown from high above)

Mysterious scary voice: My plans have failed. Letting my minions do my will on their own has proven to be ineffective.

(the ground lights up, revealing the massive symbol of the Mortal Kombat dragon etched into the ground, the coffins all laying around the eye)

Mysterious scary voice: The time has come for me to act directly. For my servants to do my will *EXACTLY* as I dictate it.

(the coffins open, and six shadowy figures get out of them, their features hidden and vague, lacking detail)

Mysterious scary voice: I will live again. The Elder Gods will pay for slaying me.

(six Kamidogu float down, and attach themselves forcefully to the chest of each shadowy figure, burrowing into their bodies and vanishing. In a flash, the identity of each is revealed as they start to glow, an evil smirk on their faces: Shao Kahn. Onaga. Shinnok. Raiden. Havik. Nitara. Their eyes glow red, and they float into the air.)

All six plus scary voice in perfect unison: It will take time, but I have nothing but time. The One Being will live again.

Oho-Yama

Oho-Yama, ancient god of the mountains, was more than a little annoyed. He had been beaten by a mortal, and his temple had been destroyed by a looney former Elder God! He was tired of taking abuse. He trained hard, and was ready to crush anyone who took him on again. But he found out that his vengeance would have to wait. For Raiden had gone mad. Oho-Yama wouldn't allow this travesty to pass!

He readied himself for battle, joining Fujin's forces and adding his strength to theirs. But apparently there were further aggrivations. Shao Kahn was back. Onaga, yet again, proved too stubborn to stay dead. Shinnok had returned, another person to whomp. And oh, the mortal who beat him was now a powerful demon. *sigh* All the worst people got the best things. Oh well. He'd whomp them all anyway. Nothin' better than whomping annoying people.

He tries yanking the head out over and over again, stretching the neck out further, until finally, the neck tears off and snaps up to hit him in the face, knocking him over. He holds up one arm triumphantly while on the ground, and says "HAH!"

Oho-Yama strikes himself with his hammer, his body breaking apart and crumbling into dust.

Oho-Yama gives his hammer to the opponent and then walks away, smirking at the camera. He doesn't notice the opponent grin and laugh easily, stalking up behind him with the hammer raised to strike. The screen fades out, and the player hears a loud "WHACK" followed by Oho-Yama screaming "OWW!!!"

(Fade in on Raiden's temple. Oho-Yama is standing proudly amidst a sea of thoroughly whomped fighters, who are all groaning wearily.)

Oho-Yama: Yes friends, I taught all these youngsters respect for me. They crossed me, they got whomped. Like ol' Raiden here. *gestures to Raiden, who is laying in an uncomfortable looking-position near him.* Why, he got himself all frigged in the head, and tried to destroy the realms. I had to whomp him!

(Scene switches briefly to a greyscale flashback of Oho-Yama pounding on Raiden. It then goes back to Oho-Yama, who is now standing over Shao Kahn and Onaga, who are slumped against each other.)

Oho-Yama: And these two. Rulers of Outworld, both of 'em. But they was too busy trying to kill each other to get anything done, so I whomped both of 'em.

(Scene switches briefly to a flashback of Onaga and Shao Kahn, both struggling in Oho-Yama's grasp, getting their heads banged together repeatedly. Switches back to Oho-Yama, who moves on, chuckling.)

Oho-Yama: That was a good whompin,' yep it was. *stops at Nitara and Shinnok, both of whom are buried under a pile of rubble* These two, they was plannin' ta use the Kamidogu to gain real power, unitin' 'em to make a super Kamidogu. But if what Kagutsuchi said was true, then that woulda brought the One Bein' back, which woulda been bad, because I'd have died & become part of him, so I couldn't whomp him.

(In yet another flashback, Oho-Yama is shown jumping up and down on Shinnok and Nitara. Before this flashback ends, Nitara's hand appears at the bottom of the screen and shoves the flashback aside, pulling herself up out of the rubble. Around the room, the other fighters are pulling themselves up, some groaning in pain, some of the female characters holding hands over tears in their outfits at the chest area. Nitara glares at Oho-Yama, then turns to the screen.)

Nitara: Do you believe that this moron did any of what he just said?

(The scene switches to a small, darkened room with a young boy and a young girl on the couch holding controllers to their video game system. Which system it is depends on the version of the game. On the shirt of the boy is 'Generic Male Mortal Kombat Fan,' on the shirt of the girl is 'Generic Female Mortal Kombat Fan.' Both of them look somewhat startled that Nitara is talking to them, but shake their heads. The scene switches back to the game, and Nitara nods.)

Nitara: I thought not. The truth is, that this moron ambushed us all and bushwhacked us from behind, and decided to hold this little seminar. But we've recovered now, and are about to inflict tremendous amounts of pain on Captain Whomp here.

(Everyone except Oho-Yama draws their weapons. Nitara smirks at Oho-Yama, who grins nervously.)

Oho-Yama: Uh-oh...

Nitara: Now, because what we are about to do would make games like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Manhunt look like a Barney The Dinosaur video game, we shall not show the video of it, and instead shall show you a movie of an adorable little bunny with a pancake on its head.

(The screen switches to a real-life image of a bunny with a pancake on its head, as audio of the SEVERE beating Oho-Yama is recieving plays behind the image. The bunny stares at the camera for a moment before moving away, the pancake falling of its head. The bunny looks at the pancake curiously.)

(fadeout on Oho-Yama's screams as the bunny begins eating the pancake)

Li Mei laughed as she thought of her old life. Born a simple farmer with a bit of a knack for fighting, she lived her life simply. Her day consisted of working in the fields, tending to her family, martial arts training, an hour for recreation, and sleep. And that was it. When Shang Tsung and Quan Chi came, she fought desperately for her people's freedom, planning on using the one wish the two wizards promised the winner to gain her people's freedom. But it was a lie. Her people had been used to give souls to the undead army of the Dragon King, her soul being the last one they needed. But even as they finished transferring her soul into the warrior, Bo' Rai Cho, the old martial arts master who lived in her village, came in and undid the spell, restoring her to her proper body and taking her away so that Raiden and his warriors could fight without interferance. She laughed now as she thought of them all dieing at the wizards' hands.

Her brief time in the undead warrior's body had changed her. She now craved battle, lusted for it even, taking Bo' Rai Cho's more advanced training to heart. And as she approached Onaga, the tainted darkness within her took hold completely. The sweet young Outworlder she used to be was gone forever. She swore her loyalty to Onaga, and fought against the gathered heroes, successfully killing Sub-Zero and fending off Kenshi alongside Hotaru. But before they could strike Kenshi down, Shujinko stole their powers, using all of their combined abilities to strike Onaga down in a single blow. His spirit fled Reptile's body, leaving him dazed on the ground, and fled to his original body. But Sindel, having found the chant to bind him to that body and using, held her Kwan Do in the heart of Li Mei's lord, killing him once more. Forced to flee, she could only watch helplessly as the heroes left. But then she saw something that gave her hope: Havik eating Onaga's heart, and using its energies to create a crystal with similar powers.

She knew from Bo' Rai Cho how the mind of Chaosrealmers worked. She knew Havik would bring Shao Kahn back to life, and she KNEW that Kahn would bring Onaga back and force him to work for him. That disgusting demon loved irony. So she waited until her predictions came true, and swore herself to Shao Kahn once Onaga returned. Onaga, pleased to see his servant once more, promised her that once he was free, she would be his immortal Queen, and bear his eggs. Li Mei shivered in delight, and dedicated herself to finding a way to free her lord. She would be the Dragon Queen. NOTHING would stop her...

Li Mei grips her opponent's face gently, quirks her head to one side, and then rips off the opponent's face, throwing it aside. She then watches the opponent stagger around, screaming as he/she clutches his/her face. She then thrusts her Kun Lun Dao into the opponent's heart, watching as the opponent staggers and falls over, dead.

Fatality 2: (far) d, b + HK, HK, LK, HP, LK, Block
Li Mei backflips towards her opponent, flipping over and landing on the opponent's shoulders when she gets close enough. She then uses her powerful leg muscles to crush the opponent's neck, and she keeps her hold on the opponent's neck as he/she falls. Once the opponent's corpse falls, Li Mei releases her hold and poses sensually on the ground.

Harakiri: f, d, f, d, f, d, f + Block
Li Mei whips out her Kun Lun Dao, shouts "LONG LIVE ONAGA!" and chops her head off.

Li Mei does a sweeping gesture, leaving sparks everywhere. Flowers start to fall from the sky, and she catches one, smiling cutely.

(The scene is inside Raiden's temple. Li Mei, breathing heavily, her clothing tattered, is standing there, blood dripping from her fists and Kun Lun Dao. Around her are the battered corpses of Shao Kahn & his forces, Raiden and his forces, and the Earthrealm forces. She chuckles wickedly, and licks the blood off of her Kun Lun Dao. Light clapping can be heard from behind Li Mei, and she whirls, her blade at the ready. But when she sees Onaga standing amidst his undead warriors, she smiles and bows.)

Li Mei: We have finished off our enemies, my lord. Now nothing stands in our way.

Onaga: *smiling, walking over to her* Indeed. And it appears I have primarily you to thank for our victory.

Li Mei: It was nothing, my lord, no trouble at all.

Onaga: *chuckling, he hugs her, causing Li Mei to coo in delight* My dear girl, people all your life will try to take your accomplishments from you. Don't take them away from yourself.

Li Mei: *chuckling, looking up at Onaga, still hugging him* As you say, my liege.

Onaga: *grins lavaciously* Now, though, I believe I promised you a queenship...

(Li Mei grins excitedly as Onaga leans in to kiss her, the scene fading out.)

Screen Text: Five Months Later

(The scene is inside a kitchen, where Tarkatans male and female (some wearing chef hats), are hard at work preparing dinner. Humans are being brought in and violently chopped up off screen, their pieces being loaded into huge cauldrons. An enourmously fat male Tarkata with blood all over his apron tastes a tiny portion of a roast brought up to him by a chubby female, and nods approvingly, complimenting her in the Tarkatan's native language. The female runs off, as the male continues to examine the work of the other chefs, occasionally offering advice. Soon, Onaga steps into the kitchen, an amused smile on his face. The head Tarkata smiles, dusting his apron off and smoothing it over his giant gut, comes up to Onaga and bows.)

Fat Tarkata: Greetings, my lord.

Onaga: Greetings yourself. How soon is dinner?

Fat Tarkata: Just a few minutes more, Most High.

Onaga: Excellent. Yes.

Fat Tarkata: And how is Queen Li Mei, my lord?

Onaga: *chuckling* Aside from being bloated into immobility by my eggs, she's doing quite well.

Fat Tarkata: *chuckles appreciatively* Well, your meals should be ready soon. The raid on her former home was completed successfully, and we are making SEVERAL delicious dishes out of her friends and family.

Onaga: She'll appreciate that, I'm certain.

(Onaga strides out of the kitchen, leaving the fat tarkata to continue his work. He strides through a series of hallways, stepping out into a massive throne room. He smiles.)

Onaga: Dinner is almost ready, my love.

Li Mei: *her voice lower, more thundering like Onaga's* Good. My children grow hungry, as do I.

(The camera pans around to reveal Li Mei sitting on a massive amount of pillows, although she is barely recognizable. She wears a silk red robe over her chest, grown into enormity in preperation for her eggs. Her skin has turned green and scaley, and she has horns like Onaga's on her forehead. Her belly is distended tremendously, a huge, smooth dome that shimmers softly in the light. The camera pans up Li Mei's body to her face, where her red eyes are glowing ominously. She licks her lips, grinning widely to show her razor sharp fangs.)

Li Mei: I have longed for this meal, to sever ties with my pathetic human past forever. And now, at last, I shall have it. And once my former home becomes little more than nourishment for me and my children, I will at last be complete.

(fadeout)

That last one was perverse but cool
