Monster

The whole of the golem known as Monster's existance since his creation was defined by one single thing: He was champion of the Elder Gods. Their defender. The protector of the realms. But then he was defeated by Shujinko, and replaced by the Scorpion, leaving him without purpose to his existance. He reappeared on Earth, taking a human disguise and finding a home and work, but still he was without hope, without true purpose.
He could still sense Scorpion, could still sense him as he trained under the Elder Gods. He was content to watch him for a time, to study him to see if he was worthy. But Monster's senses soon detected a new, more dangerous threat. Raiden. The Thunderer had gone mad, and now threatened everything. He had to be stopped. Monster still didn't know if he was worthy to exist still, but he knew that he couldn't stand idly by while Raiden destroyed everything in his mad quest to maintain order. And with any luck, he'd be able to talk to Scorpion as well, to see if he was truly worthy of being Champion of the Elder Gods...

Monster spins, his spearbeasts coming out and extending his range. Range increases in Monster Whips stance.

Monster shoots his spearbeasts out, which turn on him and devour his head. They fall limp as Monster falls over, dead.

Monster snaps his fingers, a large block of stone appearing. He shoots his spears out at the block over and over again, until it is a perfect likeness of the opponent in a badass pose. His spears flop to the ground, dazed, their beaks bent.

Scorpion: *chuckles* I have not used that name in years. I am Scorpion now.
Monster: At your core, you are still Hanzo Hayashi. Scorpion is a facade you hold on to, because you cannot let go of your hate.
Scorpion: *gets to his feet and faces Monster* That's an interesting take on it. Who are you?
Monster: I am Monster. I am he whom you replaced.
Scorpion: *looks startled* I am sorry. But the Elder Gods chose me. I did not volunteer for this role.
Monster: *nods* I know. But I must be sure that you are worthy of the role of their Champion before I can live my own life.
Scorpion: *folds his arms* Are you challenging me?
Monster: Indeed. *takes a Hapkido stance* I cannot rest until I know the Elder Gods have a worthy champion.
Scorpion: *sighing, also taking a Hapkido stance* I would have thought my performance against Raiden and Onaga would prove my worth. But apparently not.
Monster: Enough talk. Let Mortal Kombat begin.
(Scorpion and Monster fight. It is an intense fight, both fighters scoring tremendous, powerful blows on each other. But eventually, Scorpion gains the advantage and pins Monster.)
Monster: Enough. I give up.
Scorpion: *puts his hand on his hood, as if to remove to reveal his firey skull, but decides against it, helping Monster back to his feet instead* You fought well.
Monster: As did you. I see the Elder Gods chose well.
Scorpion: Indeed. So what now for you?
Monster: Humanity, perhaps. And a normal life...
(Monster creates a portal with a gesture and steps back out of the Nexus. Scorpion sighs, and sits back down to meditate, awaiting his next mission.)
Scorpion: I hope you have some measure of peace, then. Farewell, Monster.

Costume 1: The outfit is a blood red outfit that looks like a stylized cross between the MK2 female ninja outfit and Mileena's MKG outfit, however it is tattered badly. Blood stains are all over Skarlet's body, and blood is caked in her long brown hair. Her eyesockets are empty and bleeding. Her skin is very pale, and she is shivering constantly.
Costume 2: Her outfit here is bright red bodypaint that loops up and down her body, covering her feet like boots, her hands like gloves, her mouth and nose like a mask, and just BARELY covering her breasts and groin area. Bloodstains are still on her body, and blood is still caked in her long hair, her eyes are still missing and her skin is still very pale.

Skarlet screaming desperately for it to stop, another sickle of blood appears from the chest, and slashes the opponent's throat. As the opponent gags, Skarlet is screaming and sobbing, wanting it to end. A sickle of blood emerges from the opponent's throat, and stabs him/her in the head. The opponent stiffens briefly and falls over, the blood sickles dissolving.

(Skarlet quickly raises her head to the sky, revealing her bloodsoaked face, the only clean spots on her being her teartracks.)

(Skarlet falls over sobbing again. After a bit, she blinks, hearing footsteps in the pool. She whimpers, and brandishes her Lungchan Do, looking around for the source of the footsteps.)

Mysterious voice: No need to threaten, child.
Skarlet: I-It's not a THREAT! I'm dangerous! I can't control my powers! If you touch me you'll die and I DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO DIE BECAUSE OF ME!!!

(The mysterious man smiles, and gestures. Her sword vanishes. Another gesture, and all the corpses and blood vanishes. A final gesture, and Skarlet is cleaned up, all the blood vanishing from her skin and hair. Her brown hair flows freely about her now. Shocked, she stares at him in wonder, not stopping him from cupping her chin.)
Mysterious man: You won't, child. I am above such things.
Skarlet: *in awe* Who... Who are you?
Mysterious man: I am less that I was. Once I was One Being. A great, powerful force. Then Others came into play, and broke me apart. Made me less than I should be.
Skarlet: *suddenly angry* Who would do this to you?!
Mysterious man: *smirking* The Elder Gods, my dear Skarlet. They feared me, feared the might that is P'an Ku. And they broke me apart, leaving only the pitiful creature you see before you.
Skarlet: You are not pitiful... You are beautiful...
P'an Ku: *smiling warmly* I am glad you think so, my child, even if I do not believe that you are right about me. But it is my intention to restore myself to full strength. Will you help me?

Gemini, to be perfectly honest, despite being a well-trained soldier and one of the deadliest women alive, would have loved to stay out of things. Her preferred thing to do was to stay in the comm station, out of sight of the maniacs her lover Jax had to fight. She also encouraged the illusion that Sonya and Jax had something going on between then, but in truth she was just too shy to express her feelings in front of people. Jax: *smiles* That's good. I talked to the docs. They said if you take it easy, you can be back on your feet and kicking ass in a few months.
Gemini: *winces* Thanks. But I think I'll stick to comm duty. If my last fight was any indication of my ass-kicking ability, I think it'd be healthier for me.
Jax: *chuckling, shaking his head* Yeah. Hsu Hao and Dragoness did a number on you, didn't they?
Gemini: *nodding weakly* I think I can help better by sticking to the comm, coordinating things like I'm used to.

(He leans in and kisses her on the lips. She blushes, and smiles.)

Jax: *sighing, shaking his head* Oh man, was it tough. We threw everything at him, and it nearly wasn't enough. Fujin managed to corner him and beat him, though, and the Elder Gods took Raiden to be reborn. Shinnok and the vamps vanished after the fight.

Jax: For now. Liu and Kitana are getting married, and, I quote, 'planning to crank out a baby or twenty.' Mileena's getting used to life as an Edenian Princess, Sindel and Jerrod have locked themselves in their room with a 'Do Not Disturb Under Penalty Of Slow Agonizing Death' sign on the door so they can catch up on old times, and, well... *he blushes*

Gemini, to be perfectly honest, despite being a well-trained soldier and one of the deadliest women alive, would have loved to stay out of things. Her preferred thing to do was to stay in the comm station, out of sight of the maniacs her lover Jax had to fight. She also encouraged the illusion that Sonya and Jax had something going on between then, but in truth she was just too shy to express her feelings in front of people. She was grateful that Jax kept quiet about their relationship. He was always good to her. But then word came back from one mission that Jax had been killed, and ressurected as the servant of a monster named Onaga. When Jax came back to prepare for an attack on Raiden, she made her tell him EVERYTHING he had been hiding. Reluctantly, he did, starting from Shao Kahn's Outworld tournament up to the mess with Onaga, and explaining the current situation, explaining where Cyrax and Kenshi came from as well.
Gemini was horrified. All this going on under her nose... Jax could have been killed more than he already had been... She knew what she had to do. A vampire warrior and a minor combatant in the Outworld tournament, who's only notable match was against the Lin Kuei known as Torch, which he lost. After that, he vanished for a while, wandering around aimlessly, fighting to keep his skills alive. Eventually, though, he was found by Nitara, a fellow vampire. He was seduced by her, and although he was pragmatic enough to realize that she just wanted some brief excitement , he stayed by her side. His kind was so rare in these worlds. But as he stayed by her, he realized her true ambition.
He let her go out on her own to face Cyrax and gain the means to return home, and as she promised, she brought him back to the world of vampires using her newly gained dimensional transport abilities. There he learned his heritage for the first time, become a brave and proud warrior, loyal totally to Nitara. They waited for the mess with Onaga to be resolved, and made their move. Hornbuckle was the first of the vampires to approach mad Raiden, giving him their offer of assistance against the insolent mortals. So simpering, so convincing was he in his words, that Raiden accepted the vampires help. Hornbuckle was rewarded for his work by Nitara taking him to her bed again. After that, he kept an eye on all possible threats to the thunder god, keeping a particular eye on the Lin Kuei...

He throws its full length out at the opponent's feet, where it starts wrapping around the opponent's body, the sickle eventually embedding itself into the opponent's head. Hornbuckle smirks, and then yanks the blade back, sending the opponent's corpse spinning away, the force of the sickle being ripped out cutting off the top of the opponent's head.

Hornbuckle screeches, and hacks his head off with the sickle to his Kusari-Gama.

(The scene is Sub-Zero's tomb in Kuatan. Hornbuckle trots along through the shadows, keeping an eye on Frost's group as they exit the temple, an angry Nitara in tow. He waits until they make camp, and then sneaks up on them, moving ever so cautiously, using his powers to avoid Sub-Zero's senses. But still he senses him, and shoots a blast of cold towards the vampire. Hornbuckle teleports quickly over to Nitara and casts the spell to break the hold Sareena had on her.)
Hornbuckle: Time to go milady! *forms his wings*
Nitara: *laughing, spreading her own wings* Indeed. Let's FLY!
(The two vampires take to the air, laughing. Nitara smirks at him.)
Nitara: You've proven very effective, Hornbuckle, in more ways than one. Perhaps I should take you as an official concubine.
Hornbuckle: *blushes* As much as I appreciate the thought, milady...
Nitara: *smirking* My harem also doubles as my personal, superelite assassin corps.
Hornbuckle: ...I am honored to be considered for such a chance. *grins widely*
(An inhuman snarl of rage erupts from behind them, and they turn to see Sareena running after them, flames trailing behind her as she moves with superhuman speed. The vampires start flying faster, looking nervous.)

Nitara: Split up. Use your powers to vanish from her senses, she can't track us both at once. We'll meet back at thunderbrain's fortress.

A Lin Kuei of average power and ability, his only really notable match was against the vampire Hornbuckle. He was defeated right afterwards by Mileena in rather humiliating fashion, and sent back to the Lin Kuei headquarters almost dead. Angered by his poor performance, Torch was one of the first to be turned into a cyborg. A soulless machine, Torch carried out the whims of the Lin Kuei Grandmasters without question, fighting and killing on their whim. During Kahn's invasion of Earth, Torch was appointed to be leader of a contingent of cyborgs sent to keep Shao Kahn's forces away from the Lin Kuei's base. Torch's unit succeeded, but he was badly damaged in the fight.
Torch returned and was repaired, but something had changed. Something in his programming had altered drastically. He remembered things now. Remembered his defeat by Mileena. A strong desire to defeat her came over the cyborg. So strong was this desire, that it overrode his programming. If he still had human memory and feeling, he would have defined this desire as hatred. And in addition, another flaw had arisen, programmed into him by his leaders by accident: He now had to consume souls to survive. He left the Lin Kuei just before Sub-Zero came to power, and has been hunting ever since. No one would stop him. Torch would make Mileena BURN.

Costume 1: A standard cyberninja, with a few varying details to set him apart from Sektor, Cyrax, & Smoke. Namely, his armor is orange, and has large flame designs on the chest, leg armor, and head. Also, he has two large flamethrowers attached to his arms. A greenish glow is coming from his eyes.
Costume 2: The stripped down model, with pale white skin and no hair. He wears the same costume from the waist down, but nothing above the waist. His body is glowing green, and wires line his body, forcing his face into a grimace, some wires connected to the arm torches fused into his skin.

Trademark cyber-ninja vanish into the ground & reappear with an uppercut move.
Fatality 1: (close) f, f, f, f, uf, u + HP
Torch removes two grenades from his chest and hands them to a confused opponent. He then does a teleport uppercut to knock the opponent into the air, and fires his torches. The grenades detonate, and the opponent, upon landing, writhes about in agony, covered in flames, for several seconds before dying.
Fatality 2: (close) f, df, d, df, f, uf, u + Block
Torch grips the opponent by the shoulders, his body glowing intensely green. The opponent's body glows a bright red as he holds onto him, the green of Torch's body slowly overtaking the red. The opponent screams as his/her aura is overtaken completely by the green. The green surrounding the opponent and Torch suddenly vanishes, being absorbed into Torch's eyes. Greenish smoke escapes from the opponent's mouth, eyes, and nose as he/she falls limp in Torch's arms. He lets the opponent drop and takes a pose.

Torch opens his chest panel, which drops out four grenades. He holds them in his arms as they explode, destroying his upper body in a firey mess.

Torch puts his hands behind his back and pulls out a large package of smoked sausage. He rips the plastic off and cooks the sausage to perfection with his arm torch, startling the opponent. He then pulls out two buns, breaks the sausage in half, and offers one to the opponent, who accepts it gratefully.

(The scene is a massive firestorm in what looks like the remains of a botanical garden. Torch and Mileena are fighting, and Torch definetly has the upper hand, Mileena's veil having long since disintigrated and her garments in tatters. Although Torch himself is not without wounds, bleeding steadily from several puncture wounds on his belly and arms. Finally, Mileena is knocked back with a Napalm Grenade. She groans, flying back and landing, her body still burning, as Torch approaches.)
Torch: Unit LK-P7R0, subdesignate Torch, remembers you. Memory files fully defragmented now.
(Torch's eyes flash green, and the scene switches to a flashback of an orange Lin Kuei fighting Mileena in her MK2 outfit in the Kahn's Arena stage. Mileena is flattening the orange Lin Kuei, who's flames don't even brush her, taunting him with every punch, kick, sai strike, roll, and teleport kick, as Kitana, sitting on the ground next to Shao Kahn, watch in amusement. Kintaro stands behind Kahn, his arms folded, smirking at the fight. Finally, the orange Lin Kuei is dazed so badly, that Mileena finishes him off by blowing on his face gently, causing him to fall over.)
Shao Kahn: Excellent, my daughter! FINISH HIM!!!

(The orange Lin Kuei stares at Mileena, his eyes widening in shock and anger, his fists shaking. Kitana laughs wickedly in response, as Shao Kahn looks thoughtful, staring at Sonya, struggling in her chains. After a moment, he nods.)
Shao Kahn: Very well. I can accept that. *gestures to the two guards beside him* Get rid of this garbage.
(The guards nod and start up for him. The orange Lin Kuei tries to stand and attack Mileena, but the guards grab him and start to drag him off before he could attack. He starts screaming at Mileena.)
Torch: I'll make you pay for this!! One day, devil princess, I SWEAR I'll make you pay!!!
(Kintaro mutters 'doubtful,' as Kitana and Mileena laugh uproarously at the threat. Shao Kahn laughs as well as Torch is dragged off, screaming and kicking the whole way. The flashback ends. Torch's eyes are glowing bright green now, and his fists are clenched tightly, shaking.)
Torch: This unit remembers the humiliation recieved in the Outworld tournament.
Mileena: *patting out the last of the flames, breathing heavily* What... What are you talking about?
Torch: Remember, designate Mileena. Remember an orange, flame-weilding Lin Kuei warrior.
Mileena: *her eyes narrow, then go wide, her shock visible even through her tattered veil* By Hell's fires...
Torch: *seemingly pleased, raising his fists. Starts talking faster, stalking towards Mileena as she starts to scrabble away* Yes, designate Mileena. The warrior humiliated by you in the tournament has been reborn. The Lin Kuei have rebuilt this unit, made him stronger. And better, this unit was upgraded into a parasite, capable of devouring souls.
Mileena: Get BACK!! *fires a purple energy sai at him, her own sais thrown off to one side*
Torch: *swats the energy sai aside, still stalking towards her* Designate Mileena. This unit's most vital program will now be complete. I WILL HAVE VENGEANCE!!
(Mileena backs up against a wall, and screams, raising her arms to try to ward Torch off. He snarls, the glow in eyes covering his whole body as he reaches for her. But before he can touch her, a blue energy fan slams into his side, cutting into him savagely before vanishing. Mileena blinks, wandering what happened, as Torch whirls, his arm torches alight.)
Torch: WHO'S THERE?!
(Two more energy fans fly out of the darkness, slamming him backwards, oil gushing from the cutting wounds on his chestplate. Mileena starts to stand up, as Kitana flies out, performing a Pretty Kick that sends Torch flying into the shadows. Kitana, looking battle-weary and burned herself, sighs and helps Mileena to her feet, picking up her sais and giving them back to her. Mileena nods, unsure of how to act.)
Mileena: *meekly* Thank you.
Kitana: *smiling wearily* It's my pleasure. I'm just sorry I didn't get here sooner, there are Tarkata and Centaurs everywhere it seems.
Mileena: *nods* You are hurt...
Kitana: *waves her off* It's nothing that Fujin's healers can't fix. Speaking of which, we need to get back. Can you teleport? *notices the burns on her body, and how badly hurt she is* Oh by the Gods... I shouldn't have asked that. Let me...
Mileena: *shakes her head desperately* Nono, I can do this, I can get us back to headquarters...
Kitana: *smiles warmly, and hugs Mileena, startling her* Do not worry so much. You are helping get our father back from Shao Kahn, helping us fight Raiden's menace. I'm grateful to have you with us.
Mileena: *her eyes widen, and she looks shocked. She then smiles, the smile seeming warm even despite her Tarkatan features* Thank you.
(She hugs her sister, and the two of them vanish. The camera pans over through the trees, to where Torch is laying, bleeding badly from the twin gashes on his chest. He is sputtering and sparking, the glow having faded completely from his eyes, and he makes a strangled gurgling sound as he tries to move. He doesn't notice as a shadow comes over him. The camera pans up to reveal Sektor, leaning against a nearby tree with his arms folded in amusement.)
Sektor: Well well well. I was wondering where you went.
(Torch doesn't respond, save for a cough that makes blood ooze up from his facemask. Sektor tsk tsks, shaking his head sadly, and starts pacing around him.)
Sektor: Oh, Torchy, you've done it now. All banged up and dying. And for what? Vengeance? Torch, your soul went to the Netherrealm quite some time ago. Any part of you that wanted vengeance is gone forever. And you know what else? No one cared. It took me m'self months to even remember that you were in a Mortal Kombat. And you didn't even do anything worth mentioning, other than beat up one of Nitara's slutboys. Fangface had it right. You're weak. You're pathetic. You're nothing. Even now, after they mistakenly added parasite capacity to you, you're nothing.
(Sektor chuckles, and leans down to him.)
Sektor: But I can make you something. General.

A Lin Kuei of average power and ability, his only really notable match was against the vampire Hornbuckle. He was defeated right afterwards by Mileena in rather humiliating fashion, and sent back to the Lin Kuei headquarters almost dead. Angered by his poor performance, Torch was one of the first to be turned into a cyborg. A soulless machine, Torch carried out the whims of the Lin Kuei Grandmasters without question, fighting and killing on their whim. During Kahn's invasion of Earth, Torch was appointed to be leader of a contingent of cyborgs sent to keep Shao Kahn's forces away from the Lin Kuei's base. Torch's unit succeeded, but he was badly damaged in the fight.
Torch returned and was repaired, but something had changed. Something in his programming had altered drastically. He remembered things now. Remembered his defeat by Mileena. A strong desire to defeat her came over the cyborg. So strong was this desire, that it overrode his programming. If he still had human memory and feeling, he would have defined this desire as hatred. And in addition, another flaw had arisen, programmed into him by his leaders by accident: He now had to consume souls to survive. He left the Lin Kuei just before Sub-Zero came to power, and has been hunting ever since. No one would stop him. Torch would make Mileena BURN.

Costume 1: A standard cyberninja, with a few varying details to set him apart from Sektor, Cyrax, & Smoke. Namely, his armor is orange, and has large flame designs on the chest, leg armor, and head. Also, he has two large flamethrowers attached to his arms. A greenish glow is coming from his eyes.
Costume 2: The stripped down model, with pale white skin and no hair. He wears the same costume from the waist down, but nothing above the waist. His body is glowing green, and wires line his body, forcing his face into a grimace, some wires connected to the arm torches fused into his skin.

Torch grips the opponent by the shoulders, his body glowing intensely green. The opponent's body glows a bright red as he holds onto him, the green of Torch's body slowly overtaking the red. The opponent screams as his/her aura is overtaken completely by the green. The green surrounding the opponent and Torch suddenly vanishes, being absorbed into Torch's eyes. Greenish smoke escapes from the opponent's mouth, eyes, and nose as he/she falls limp in Torch's arms. He lets the opponent drop and takes a pose.

Torch opens his chest panel, which drops out four grenades. He holds them in his arms as they explode, destroying his upper body in a firey mess.

Torch puts his hands behind his back and pulls out a large package of smoked sausage. He rips the plastic off and cooks the sausage to perfection with his arm torch, startling the opponent. He then pulls out two buns, breaks the sausage in half, and offers one to the opponent, who accepts it gratefully.

(The scene is a massive firestorm in what looks like the remains of a botanical garden. Torch and Mileena are fighting, and Torch definetly has the upper hand, Mileena's veil having long since disintigrated and her garments in tatters. Although Torch himself is not without wounds, bleeding steadily from several puncture wounds on his belly and arms. Finally, Mileena is knocked back with a Napalm Grenade. She groans, flying back and landing, her body still burning, as Torch approaches.)
Torch: Unit LK-P7R0, subdesignate Torch, remembers you. Memory files fully defragmented now.
(Torch's eyes flash green, and the scene switches to a flashback of an orange Lin Kuei fighting Mileena in her MK2 outfit in the Kahn's Arena stage. Mileena is flattening the orange Lin Kuei, who's flames don't even brush her, taunting him with every punch, kick, sai strike, roll, and teleport kick, as Kitana, sitting on the ground next to Shao Kahn, watch in amusement. Kintaro stands behind Kahn, his arms folded, smirking at the fight. Finally, the orange Lin Kuei is dazed so badly, that Mileena finishes him off by blowing on his face gently, causing him to fall over.)
Shao Kahn: Excellent, my daughter! FINISH HIM!!!

BloodMysterio has already said that he intends to make every character in mk history and then some. IMO new characters keep the games fresh or else we'd be stuck with the same old ninja ideas

For Kitana, Princess of Edenia and heir to the throne, her recent life had been nothing but one nightmare after another. She could accept that her lover, Liu Kang, didn't want to risk leaving Earth unprotected. She knew portal magic, she could visit him any time she chose. But then he died, his neck snapped in a sneak attack by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Kung Lao had witnessed the event from afar, but was unable to stop them from killing him and Shang Tsung from devouring his soul. Even worse, they took Liu's head before he could stop them, vanishing with it and mailing it gift-wrapped to Johnny Cage's villa in Hollywood. Then word came to Kitana that Goro, noble Prince Goro, who had been her friend even when she was Shao Kahn's brainwashed assassin, had been killed. For the normally calm, peaceful Kitana, it was more than enough. She wanted revenge, and didn't care how she got it. She joined a special strike force Raiden assembled, along with Kung Lao, Sonya, Jax, Sub-Zero, several new warriors and Cage, who after a spectacular entrance was surprisingly somber. They all went out seperate ways to distract Shang Tsung and Quan Chi's forces, herself, Raiden, Kung Lao, Jax, Cage, and Sonya being the first to arrive at the temple where the so-called Deadly Alliance waited for them.
It wasn't even a battle. She and her allies fought valiantly, only to be beaten easily into submission and struck down one by one, killed in brutal, unique fashion each time. Kitana herself was evicserated by Shang Tsung's sword, her lifeblood, her organs spilling out as she was slowly cut open, the sorcerer's grip on her neck crushing. Her one consolation, as she felt her soul being devoured by Shang Tsung, is that she would be with Liu.
She remembered little after that, having only a vague sense of inside the sorcerer's body. She could feel him draw on her essence to feed his magic powers, weakening her soul. And then, suddenly, she was free of him. Confused, she felt herself ascending towards a great, white light, only to have her soul forcibly drawn back to her suddenly repaired body. The nightmare hadn't ended. A new one had begun, one far, far worse than when she believed she was Shao Kahn's daughter.
Onaga had restored her, brought her back to life alongside her comrades, using the foul energies of his heart to corrupt her essence, emphasive all the negative qualities of her being. She now revelled in evil, in destruction, in her master's deceptive games and trickery. She became a villainous seductress, so cruel and vile that even Baraka and Tanya were taken aback at times. For a short time, she was a demoness the likes of which Outworld had never seen. But soon after, her heart and the hearts of her comrades were freed, thanks to a combined effort by the trifold being Ermac and the soul of her beloved Liu Kang, who was freed upon Shang Tsung's destruction. He promised her that he would come back alive, once he stopped his body from its undead rampage, and after an all too brief kiss, departed, leaving her only with the nightmare of what she became.
For a time, she rested, her mother doing her best to comfort her as they watched over the recovery of Reptile, who had been restored to normal after Onaga's death. Then she was contacted by Mileena, her hated clone, with a startling revelation. Her father was ALIVE, but a slave to Shao Kahn!! She didn't believe it at first, but through the telepathic connection she didn't even know she shared, she saw that this in no way could be a lie, that Mileena's desperation to free Jerrod from Shao Kahn's control was real. She saw the memories of Mileena talking to Jerrod, LIVED them, and knew that her sister was trying for legitimate redemption. Seeing a chance for her own redemption, for her own family to be reunited, she talked to her mother, telling her what she saw, and got her to agree to give Mileena a fair trial. Overjoyed, she started to arrange a plan with her sister (for she had no trouble thinking of her as such again). She had a new purpose now. Cleanse herself of Onaga's evil. Help Mileena and herself through their redemption. And more important than that, free her father from Shao Kahn's vile clutches.
But still, the memory of what Onaga turned her into remained...
And the memory of how much she enjoyed the evil she did...

Kitana leans in and kisses the opponent on the cheek. The opponent looks surprised for a moment, and then slowly starts to swell out, bloating into a balloon-like ball. Groaning in agony, the swelling opponent floats up into the air, and then explodes in a cloud of blood. Kitana poses triumphantly.
Fatality 2: (close) 360 counter-clockwise
Kitana whips out her fans, and shivers. Onaga's laughter sounds as she starts slashing the opponent viciously, over and over and over and over, blood spraying over her as the opponent is eventually chopped apart. Once the opponent is dead, Kitana looks around, grunting, and then screams savagely.
Harakiri: d, d, d, d, d + Block
Kitana bows, whips out a warfan, and lops her head off with it.
Friendship: f, f, d, b, d, b + Block
Kitana poses, and whips out her warfans. Only they have become large, decorative fans. She does a brief fandance, smiling cutely.

(The scene is Kitana stalking through a dark hallway, her fans at the ready. She slashes her way past several Tarkata, ending up in a massive stadium, blood crusted on the ground in several places, a large throne with two large statues of Kitana in the harlot outfit Onaga forced on her beside the throne at the far end of the stage. She knows this place. Onaga built it for her almost instantly via powerful magic during the two weeks it took for the heroes to recover from his arrival and make their way to him. She closes her eyes, and a flashback occurs. In it she is sitting on her throne, watching with sadistic amusement as Jax, little more than a rampaging brute, literally beating a humanoid Outworlder to death, several Tarkata and Centaurs cheering him on.)
Onaga: Do you remember this place?
(Kitana snaps out of her flashback and sees Onaga sitting on the throne, smirking. His control collar glitters softly, and he relaxes back on the throne, Kitana whipping out her fans and glaring at him.)
Kitana: *snarling* What do you want, monstrosity?!
Onaga: To remind you, princess. To remind you of what lay within you. You were so beautiful as my demoness...
Kitana: You turned me evil. Corrupted us all. Thank the Gods the others were able to get back to your temple and free us before you could finish translating the spells needed to merge the Kamidogu.
Onaga: *grinning widely* I did nothing save bring to the surface every repressed desire, every repressed thought that you and you comrades have.
Kitana: *snarling, her hair starting to go askew* LIAR!!
Onaga: I admit that deception is my favorite game, but every demon knows that sometimes, telling the truth can be just as wicked.
Kitana: *whips her fans out and charges him, roaring*
Onaga: *laughing* Remember, Kitana. There is darkness within us all. I just brought yours to the surface.
(Onaga vanishes just as Kitana swipes at him in a downward arch, one that would have cut him in half. She looks around, snarling, and then stops when her gaze falls on the two statues of her. She stares at the graven images, her snarl turning into an expression of sadness as she falls to her knees. Shivering, she husg herself, trying to banish away memories.)
Kitana: Gods help me, he's right... I may have overcome his influence, but all he did was bring out what was in me... What kind of monster am I?

Onaga had restored her, brought her back to life alongside her comrades, using the foul energies of his heart to corrupt her essence, emphasive all the negative qualities of her being. She now revelled in evil, in destruction, in her master's deceptive games and trickery. She became a villainous seductress, so cruel and vile that even Baraka and Tanya were taken aback at times. For a short time, she was a demoness the likes of which Outworld had never seen. But soon after, her heart and the hearts of her comrades were freed, thanks to a combined effort by the trifold being Ermac and the soul of her beloved Liu Kang, who was freed upon Shang Tsung's destruction. He promised her that he would come back alive, once he stopped his body from its undead rampage, and after an all too brief kiss, departed, leaving her only with the nightmare of what she became.
For a time, she rested, her mother doing her best to comfort her as they watched over the recovery of Reptile, who had been restored to normal after Onaga's death. Then she was contacted by Mileena, her hated clone, with a startling revelation. Her father was ALIVE, but a slave to Shao Kahn!! She didn't believe it at first, but through the telepathic connection she didn't even know she shared, she saw that this in no way could be a lie, that Mileena's desperation to free Jerrod from Shao Kahn's control was real. She saw the memories of Mileena talking to Jerrod, LIVED them, and knew that her sister was trying for legitimate redemption. Seeing a chance for her own redemption, for her own family to be reunited, she talked to her mother, telling her what she saw, and got her to agree to give Mileena a fair trial. Overjoyed, she started to arrange a plan with her sister (for she had no trouble thinking of her as such again). She had a new purpose now. Cleanse herself of Onaga's evil. Help Mileena and herself through their redemption. And more important than that, free her father from Shao Kahn's vile clutches.
But still, the memory of what Onaga turned her into remained...
And the memory of how much she enjoyed the evil she did...

Kitana whips out her fans and spins them rapidly, creating a wave of energy that lifts up any nearby opponent, stunning him/her temporarily in midair.

Kitana flies up, then forward with a fist extended, then lands again in a square pattern.

Kitana hops forward in a graceful pose and kicks twice, once with each leg.
Kitana Slash: b, f, b + HK
Kitana does an axe kick, then a slashing, mid-level spin kick, and a sweep kick, blue energy blades trailing from her foot on each kick.

Kitana leans in and kisses the opponent on the cheek. The opponent looks surprised for a moment, and then slowly starts to swell out, bloating into a balloon-like ball. Groaning in agony, the swelling opponent floats up into the air, and then explodes in a cloud of blood. Kitana poses triumphantly.
Fatality 2: (close) 360 counter-clockwise
Kitana whips out her fans, and shivers. Onaga's laughter sounds as she starts slashing the opponent viciously, over and over and over and over, blood spraying over her as the opponent is eventually chopped apart. Once the opponent is dead, Kitana looks around, grunting, and then screams savagely.

Kitana bows, whips out a warfan, and lops her head off with it.

Kitana poses, and whips out her warfans. Only they have become large, decorative fans. She does a brief fandance, smiling cutely.

(The scene is Kitana stalking through a dark hallway, her fans at the ready. She slashes her way past several Tarkata, ending up in a massive stadium, blood crusted on the ground in several places, a large throne with two large statues of Kitana in the harlot outfit Onaga forced on her beside the throne at the far end of the stage. She knows this place. Onaga built it for her almost instantly via powerful magic during the two weeks it took for the heroes to recover from his arrival and make their way to him. She closes her eyes, and a flashback occurs. In it she is sitting on her throne, watching with sadistic amusement as Jax, little more than a rampaging brute, literally beating a humanoid Outworlder to death, several Tarkata and Centaurs cheering him on.)
Onaga: Do you remember this place?
(Kitana snaps out of her flashback and sees Onaga sitting on the throne, smirking. His control collar glitters softly, and he relaxes back on the throne, Kitana whipping out her fans and glaring at him.)
Kitana: *snarling* What do you want, monstrosity?!
Onaga: To remind you, princess. To remind you of what lay within you. You were so beautiful as my demoness...
Kitana: You turned me evil. Corrupted us all. Thank the Gods the others were able to get back to your temple and free us before you could finish translating the spells needed to merge the Kamidogu.
Onaga: *grinning widely* I did nothing save bring to the surface every repressed desire, every repressed thought that you and you comrades have.
Kitana: *snarling, her hair starting to go askew* LIAR!!
Onaga: I admit that deception is my favorite game, but every demon knows that sometimes, telling the truth can be just as wicked.
Kitana: *whips her fans out and charges him, roaring*
Onaga: *laughing* Remember, Kitana. There is darkness within us all. I just brought yours to the surface.
(Onaga vanishes just as Kitana swipes at him in a downward arch, one that would have cut him in half. She looks around, snarling, and then stops when her gaze falls on the two statues of her. She stares at the graven images, her snarl turning into an expression of sadness as she falls to her knees. Shivering, she husg herself, trying to banish away memories.)
Kitana: Gods help me, he's right... I may have overcome his influence, but all he did was bring out what was in me... What kind of monster am I?

Yes, that may be the case but too many people use the word 'gay' to describe bad things and it's not nice to those who are gay, to see in used in such a context. And to those open minded enough, it is also not a nice thing to see.

Tanya, if you asked her at least, was a survivalist. Her religion, her belief, was covering her own butt so that she didn't get killed, and her own personal power was advanced. Granted, it meant a few people got betrayed along the way, but so what? She looked out for Number One. Although now she was starting to have second thoughts about her various betrayals. She had thought Shinnok would work, but he had been betrayed by Quan Chi and flattened by Raiden's forces. Then came the Deadly Alliance, but before she could make anything of them, they were killed when Raiden sacrificed himself in a vain attempt to stop Onaga. Then came Onaga himself, who had sent Baraka to forcibly draft her. An unneeded gesture, as she was planning on presenting herself to him anyway. Impressed by her skills, but wary of her treachery, Onaga placed in her a position where he could keep an eye on her: as his assistant in translating the texts needed to merge the Kamidogu, and occasionally accompaning her to the arena he created for his enslaved warriors to amuse themselves in. And while it was fun at first, seeing Kitana, noble princess Kitana, fight with the ferocity of a rabid Tarkata, frightened her, made her have doubts about her safety. She began to plan her escape. All she needed was an oppurtunity...
Her oppurtunity came a week later, when the remaining forces of Earth attacked. She hid a Kamidogu from Onaga and went to his aid, her attacks a cover for her steady movements away. She did have one moment of satisfaction when she caught the obsessive Kitana loyalist Jade, and decided to halt her plans briefly enough to see Jade suffer. But that proved to be her downfall, for Jade had gained an orb of concentrated Tarkatan essence and splashed it on her. The scent of a powerful male Tarkata overwhelmed her, and the Tarkata warriors she had brought with her to torment Jade saw her as a rival, instinct overwhelming them as they tore her apart. She drifted in Limbo for a brief time, feeling herself descending towards the Netherrealm. But soon, she found herself awake, her body whole and lying in a pool of her own blood. Havik laughed, and decided to tell her EVERYTHING that was going on. Tanya was disgusted. She saw no opportunity for advancement, for power in this miserable, chaotic situation, megalomaniacs everywhere, heroes all around... No one knew she was alive yet. She wanted to keep it that way, and started out to a hidden corner of Outworld, intent on carving out a comfortable living space for herself, killing anyone who might ruin her plans. She kept the Kamidogu she took, feeling its power increase her own expotentially. But still, something nagged at the back of her mind... Something she was missing...

Fatality 2: (sweep) f, f, f, f, u, d, f
Tanya smirks and pops her neck, and lashes out with a roundhouse kick, turning the opponent so that his/her back is facing Tanya. She then grips the opponent's back at the hips and yanks out his/her spine, using it to whip off the opponent's head.
Harakiri: Blockx2, HP, LKx2, HK, LP
The opponent draws his/her weapon and takes a swing at Tanya (walking over to her first if far away). Tanya backflips away and pulls out her Kamidogu. She points it at the opponent and activates it, but the energy backlashes against her, reducing her to a flaming pile of ash.

(Tanya sits up with a start, her eyes opening wide.)
Tanya: Who... Who's there?
(A tall, pale-skinned man in a long, flowing black robe appears. He chuckles, his white hair flowing in the sudden wind that picks up. Tanya whirls, and whips her Kobu-Jutsu out of its sheath, taking a fighting stance, but the man just chuckles.)
Mysterious man: There is no need for that, I am not here to fight.
Tanya: *sneering* Oh? And what are you here for, then?
Mysterious man: My name is P'an Ku. Before the Realms were, I was. Until the Elder Gods struck me a cowardly blow, breaking my body down into the realms you know.
Tanya: *frowning, looking confused* I know you...
P'an Ku: Indeed. I have been guiding your hand and Onaga's in the translation of the spells needed to merge ALL the Kamidogu of every realm into one. I have been waiting for my chance to fully restore my body, to make my return. And I wanted a witness to it.
Tanya: *snorts* You chose me? I'm honored.
P'an Ku: You should be. For I am going to tell you EVERYTHING I intend to do, including show you the end result.
(Before Tanya can react, P'an Ku grips her face. Fire lances down P'an Ku's arm, merging with Tanya's body. She squirms violently, screaming. Jade should have been happy. Onaga had gone down, and gone down HARD. Kitana and her friends were returned to their old selves again. Tanya was most certainly dead, and if not, she would be soon. Edenia was at peace. Mostly. But still, a dark cloud hung over the royal family. Something was wrong. Kitana was plagued by nightmares of what she did while under Onaga's control. Sindel was plagued by visions. And then, completely out of nowhere, Mileena returned, bearing proof of Jerrod's return from the grave and her intent to switch sides. Rain came back and asked for forgiveness, something Jade wasn't sure she herself was ready to give.
And worst of all, Raiden had gone mad. Jade didn't know what to think or make of this current situation. The only thing truly clear to her was her duty: Protect the royal family. Threats were arising, and Jade, most loyal and most powerful of the Royal Guard, would not fail her masters. If Mileena wished to switch sides, so be it. And if the good King Jerrod was back among the living, then that was even better. Jade would not be remiss in her duties. She would not fail Kitana again!

Jade spins her staff forward, hitting multiple times, ending with a slash at the ground.

Jade, her hands glowing, reaches out and grips the opponent's head. The opponent screams as the green light from Jade's hands surrounds him/her and turns him/her into a statue made of jade. Jade examines her artwork, nods, and whips out her staff, shattering the statue.
Fatality 2: (far) f, f, f, b, b, f, b + HP
Jade whips out her boomerang and throws it, the blade lopping the opponent's head off on the first pass and embedding itself in the opponent's back on the return pass. Jade whips out another boomerang and throws at the opponent's chest, knocking him/her back and dislodging the first boomerang from the opponent's back with a squishing sound.
Harakiri: f, d, d, u, d, u + LK
Jade holds out her staff, and jams one of the spear ends through her neck hard enough to make the spike come out the other side. She falls over, gagging.
Friendship: b, u, d, b, f, d, f + Block
Jade holsters her staff and gestures, green fire surrounding her hands. She holds up one hand, and in a comedic poof, a pizza appears in her hand.

(The scene is the palace in Edenia at night, on a rooftop where Jade is practicing, going through a beautiful kata, her staff whipping about like a tornado. After a few minutes of this, Kitana steps out, clad in a blue silk robe that is bulging out in the middle with her pregnancy. Jade smiles at Kitana and bows to her cordially, Kitana returning the polite gesture.)
Kitana: Old friend, it is long past midnight. You need sleep.
Jade: I cannot sleep, milady. I have too much on my mind.
Kitana: *frowning slightly* Is it because of what has happened recently?
Jade: *fiddles with her staff nervously, and sighs* Yes, Kitana. I feel that despite all my efforts, I do nothing but continually fail you.
Kitana: *blinks, and smiles* Jade, you are anything BUT a failure.
Jade: *shaking her head* Am I? I could not save you from becoming Onaga's slave, I BARELY was able to defeat Tanya... Even now, I was little use against mad Raiden, the vampires, and Shinnok. If not for Mileena...
Kitana: *hugs her friend tightly, chuckling*
Jade: *looks surprised* Kitana...?
Kitana: You've been invaluable to us, Jade. You've saved our lives more times than you know, and more than that have been a good friend to me in times of need. More important than that, you're a good person to talk to in times of distress. *she smiles warmly* You have hardly failed us, Jade.
Jade: *smiling and blushing* Thank you, Princess Kitana.
Kitana: *chuckling* Please, just Kitana.
Jade: *hugging Kitana* Thank you, Kitana.
Kitana: *stepping back and grinning wickedly* Besides. You're too much fun for Kitana and I to pick on.
Jade: *blink* Wha...?
*'Kitana' laughs and pulls out the Cabbage Patch doll she had underneath her robe out and tosses it to the startled Jade. More laughter draws Jade's attention to the stairwell door, where the REAL Kitana, in a revealing outfit, is waiting for her*
Jade: Mileena?! Kitana?! What's the meaning of this?!
Mileena: *teleports over to Kitana* An attempt to get you to lighten up, girly girl.
Kitana: Although if it helps any, I meant every word she said.
*Jade relaxes a little, but still looks indignant*
Kitana: *grinning mischeviously* Especially the part about you being fun to pick on.
*Jade snarls. Mileena teleports Kitana and herself away just as a boomrang slams into the wall behind where they were a moment before.*

Jade should have been happy. Onaga had gone down, and gone down HARD. Kitana and her friends were returned to their old selves again. Tanya was most certainly dead, and if not, she would be soon. Edenia was at peace. Mostly. But still, a dark cloud hung over the royal family. Something was wrong. Kitana was plagued by nightmares of what she did while under Onaga's control. Sindel was plagued by visions. And then, completely out of nowhere, Mileena returned, bearing proof of Jerrod's return from the grave and her intent to switch sides. Rain came back and asked for forgiveness, something Jade wasn't sure she herself was ready to give.
And worst of all, Raiden had gone mad. Jade didn't know what to think or make of this current situation. The only thing truly clear to her was her duty: Protect the royal family. Threats were arising, and Jade, most loyal and most powerful of the Royal Guard, would not fail her masters. If Mileena wished to switch sides, so be it. And if the good King Jerrod was back among the living, then that was even better. Jade would not be remiss in her duties. She would not fail Kitana again!

Liu Kang had been through a lot recently. He had been killed at the hands of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, his soul consumed by the former. He had, while trapped in Shang Tsung's body, watched his friends be killed, their souls consumed by the mad sorcerer as well. He had been forcibly freed from Shang Tsung by his mentor Raiden, who gave his life in an attempt to stop a new evil that had arisen, an effort that failed and resulted in his friends being ressurected and transformed into evil. And worst of all, he had found his body brought back to life as a killer zombie by unknown forces. It was only though the combined efforts of Liu Kang and the tri-souled warrior Ermac that they were able to free his friends.
But retrieving his body presented new problems. With none of Liu Kang's restraint, his body was able to defeat Ermac with ease. Liu Kang was forced to duel his own body for control. He eventually managed to re-merge his soul with his body... But he was still an undead zombie. He was in control of himself, but barely, as he felt the killer instinct implanted in the zombie still within his mind. He seperated himself from the others, trying to seek out a way to fully ressurect himself, not trusting himself to help in the fight against the mad Raiden until he was restored. Only then could he deal with the horror of fighting his mentor gone mad...

Bicycle Kick: Hold LK for 2 seconds, release
Liu flies forward, kicking bicycle-style and making noises similar to a turkey.
Rolling Liu: f, b + LK
Liu does a handstand into a Spinning Bird Kick-type maneuver.
Fatality 1: (far) f, f, d, f, u, d, f + Block
Liu roars, and whips his hookchains forward, one embedding itself in the opponent's neck, the other in his/her face. He then yanks his chains back hard, sending the opponent's body spinning as the head is sliced off by the hookchain in the opponent's neck.
Fatality 2: (far) f, b, f, b, f, b + Block
Liu roars, and turns into a massive Chinese dragon. He lurches forward and swallows the opponent whole, and then flies into the air.
Harakiri: f, d, u, d, f, d, d + Block
Liu bows, picks up a hooked chain, and uses it to decapitate himself.
Friendship: d, d, d, d, d + Block
Liu snaps his fingers, a disco ball appearing in a puff on the top of the stage and starting to spin, casting colored lights everywhere. He begins to disco-dance around the stage.

Liu Kang Ending

(The scene is Liu Kang on a hill, meditating. He's not doing very well, as his body is twitching and he is grunting angrily every few seconds, his face visibly strained with the effort of keeping still.)
Liu Kang: *voiceover, thinking* I have to remain at peace... I must find out who stole my body and turned me into this monster...
(After a few moments, he manages to still himself. And when he does, the world fades around him, becoming a vision of the past, of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi overwhelming him and killing him, Shang Tsung laughing in vicious triumph as his soul was absorbed.)
Liu Kang: *voiceover, thinking* I know this already. Who changed my body?
(The vision shifts, to Liu Kang's Tomb stage from MK Deception. A lone, solitary figure approaches, wrapped in a cloak. She chuckles softly, and kneels at the place where Liu is buried, placing a single, blood-red rose there. The cloaked woman then backs away, whispering a chant in a language Liu doesn't recognize. The tomb shakes violently, and the place where Liu's body is explodes, his rotted body roaring inhumanly and charging the woman. The woman gestures, chains snaking out of the walls and attaching themselves to Liu's arms, holding him in place. The woman chuckles.)
Woman: Now, my servant... Now the time has come...
(The woman throws back her hood, revealing Nitara.)
Nitara: You will serve me... Kill for me... DESTROY for me... Go now... And kill all that you see...
(Nitara snaps her fingers, and the chains binding Liu's body snap, becoming wicked hooks at the end, as he runs down the mountain tomb at inhuman speeds as Nitara laughs)
Liu Kang: *his eyes snap open as he realizes who did this to him* The VAMPRESS!! SHE did this to me!! I have to find her and.... and...
(Liu staggers, a low growl rumbling up in his throat as he clutches his head in agony.)
Liu Kang: What... what happening... to me...
(He suddenly rears back, roaring ferally, as Nitara appears in a flash of black flame near him. Liu roars at her, but Nitara just holds out a hand, Liu stopping in place and kneeling.)
Nitara: I have gone to too much trouble to get you like this, Liu Kang. And I will not be thwarted so easily. You're mine, body and now soul. Now go back to the duty I have set for you. Kill all you come across. ESPECIALLY if they were a former friend of yours.
(Liu roars, beating his chest, and runs off, still roaring like an animal. Nitara laughs and vanishes.)
