As I told you before on MSN, the fake is good, but the fire needs some work on, since it doesn't really look all that realistic. But don't get it the wrong way, the fake is good =D.

I like the fire on Scorpin's skull and how he is actually facing his opponent. I also really like the pose Scorpion is doing his kick. That is awesome. The Fatality idea is pretty sweet. Nice editing, however I don't see how his METAL arms would burn, they should be melting. You could do that with PSP's smear effect. I think the way you switched the pants to make it MK2 on Jax is cool, because I think Jax's pants in MK3 were kinda gay.

The background quality is disgusting man, and it's a PNG file, so wtf did you do?

I think the background he got off of that guys site was originally a GIF. It looks pretty wanked.

I think the BG quality could have been affected by using the screen darkening techinique with Paint. Though, it isn't so bad really, its the best you'll get with paint, its at least nice to see you put the effort to follow the tutorial, but what about shadows? I suppose given Scorpion's position, lifebars and such would be in the way, and this is a case where I like your choice not to add them.

The Scorpion sprite is fantastic really, very nice work. The angle of the skull is prefect, it looks like he's looking right at the fireball he shot. Though, I think the flame head could be slightly better, a little more flame higher up on the skull wouldn't have hurt. But the way the flame appears to be moving is great, the position of it was well thought out indeed. The fireball is a bit odd though, its well done but that part of Jax is already burning, I'd like to see it aimed to another part of his body. But still, its very nice. The flames are Jax are good, but I think a different character would have been better to receive this fatality. Unless you were going to go through the trouble of making the metal arms 'melt', but I know you don't have the program to do that, so any other character would have been a better choice I think. But the way you edited the actual Jax sprite is nice, his facial expre-ssion was well chosen, though I don't like his 'gotcha' grab' arm, it isn't bad though. The flames on the ground are a little 'flat' but other than that the flame work here is pretty great.

Very nice Marcel, and I must agree that your skills have improved alot. Good fake, I like this one alot.

Crow is right, when I did that "Dot Method" I notice it did ruin the bg, a lot.

I didn't add shadows becuz its already dark and they come out weird. DON"T get mad at me timsmk and don't add mi name to thy Hit and run List neither

Right, now after that PM begging me to reply .

- Even if you can't see the shadows, make sure you put them in because you don't know who will be inverting your colours .
- Perhaps there could be a tad bit more fire near the top of Scorps' head.
- I know it's the paint technique, but it never does look as good as it would be. Paint may be what you could call a "true editor", but I would recommend darkening the background in something with a lighting tool.
- No lifebars.

Good things:

+ Best fake of your's yet, definately an improvement of every other one you've done.
+ All the fire in the pic is just simply nice . Of course take not of what BS said about Jax's metal arms.
+ Jax does look like he's in pain.
+ The Scorpion sprite is great. The pose is an interesting one, but it fits well.

Nice job, your best yet .
