(Sorry guys
A young man walked into the Prison. He looked at Cyrax and asked him why he was in a cell; "The Lin Kuei have sent me to kill Shang Tsung." explained Cyrax. "I was captured and imprisoned here. If you could help me, I would greatly appreciate it....."
"What's in it for me?" Asked Taven.
He had learned of the Lin Kuei in his studies, and knew they were not completely trustworthy. He had also heard that a certain Lin Kuei had joined Earthrealms SF, and if this were the one, he may be a good ally.
'Taven. Son of Argus and Delia, brother to Daegon.'
"There are two reasons why should help me:" said Cyrax, growing weary of this young kombabtent.
"Reason one; The Earthrealm warriors will offer a service to you if you do help me. And Reason two; I know where your brother is Taven...."
That got his attention, thought Cyrax.

"Bring it on."
Kevshi launches his snake projectile at one of the clones of Noob blasting him on his back. Noob gets angry and throws his ninja stars and they fly at their target. The throwing stars slowly come to a halt as Kevshi uses his telekenetic powers; they fall to the ground and stick in.
"I am worthy and I will beat you." Kevshi whips his chain but it goes through Noob.
"What the hell?" Kevshi says to himself. "Bring it on! It's only just begun Noob."
Yaray can hear the cries of battle coming from just up the rocky path. He can hear only one voice as he continues to ascend boulders half his size. The fighting feels erratic, something that drives the curious climbing a little more.
There only seems to be one person doing all the talking; Yaray doubts its the shadow beast due to what he observed about the 'man' earlier.
The path keeps the battle scene out of view as it is at the top that the two warriors are doing battle. However, Yaray is sure he saw a shuriken fall off the edge of the mountain. His positioning might be terrible for watching the fight but at least Yaray has the element of surprise.

Cyrax searched through his database for the man standing infront of him.

That got his attention, thought Cyrax.
"I really don't think Edenia needs the help of Earthrealm" Said Taven arrogantly.
"And why should I care where my brother is? He is probably off studying the Shokan. Which reminds me, I should be heading back to Goro's lair. I'll set you free, but you could at least point me in the right direction." Said Taven as he pulled the lever which opened the man's cell.

Kabal stopped right where he was, without making a sound he slowly lifted his respirator up and sniffed. Even though Kabal had been badly burned, causing damage to all his major senses and all but destroying his facial features including his nose, he could still pick up the rotten stink of that Aussi backstabber.
He quickly lowered his mask and flipped on the body heat module in his retinal scanners. Kabal spotted a glowing body hiding in some bushes. He reached back and brought forth his hook swords with a slick metallic clang. Business time.
He flipped off the heat sensor as the red body rose out of the bush. "Kano, just the man I was looking for." he thought.
"Hello old friend." he said, brandishing his swords, "Uh, about that five dollars you still owe me from a few years back: you want to give that to me now or would you rather me take it out of your pockets after I get done killing you?"
Kabal was making his way through a particularly rough patch of thickets. "Making too much noise" he thought, "someones going to pick up on me." Just at that moment, Kabal sensed a change in the air, something was negatively affecting the energy all around him.

"Right mate, ya see, if I remember correctly, you still owe me ten, so we're even." Said Kano.
"Word is you want to get the whole "Black Dragon" thing rolling again. You worms couldn't last a day without me."
Kano shoots his eye laser at Kabal...

"Worms? If I'm a worm, then you must be something really nasty," Kabal said defiantly as he twirled one hook sword in the air nonchalantly.
"Say, that always was a fancy eye of yours, how'd you like to have two instead of one?" With that Kabal launched a ground saw at Kano.

Scorpion kneels in respect to the elder gods.
"What do you ask of me?" Scorpion asks.
"We want you to find Onaga and kill him" The elder gods spoke on their booming voices.
"As you wish"
"But"
"You dare question us!!" The elder gods yelled.
"No! All I want to do is get my family back" Scorpion said.
"Will this be my final mission?" He quietly asked.
"We shall see" The elder gods said as Scorpion was sent hurtling back to earth.
Scorpion felt used but at least he will get his family back....
The hunt for Onaga begins.
'Good.' roared the former Emporer.
'In mere moments, the final push shall be made against Shao Kahn's rebels. I shall travel with Baraka and his men to insure victory.'
Hotaru is signalled to depart by Onaga, and journeys towards the Wastelands of Outworld.
The red beam fires into a tree trunk behind where Kabal once stood, landing with a loud hiss and a puff of smoke. Kabal used his super human speed to dodge the attack. "He knew that wasn't going to land" Kabal thought, "he's just playing games, same old Kano. Guess I should play along."
"Worms? If I'm a worm, then you must be something really nasty," Kabal said defiantly as he twirled one hook sword in the air nonchalantly.
"Say, that always was a fancy eye of yours, how'd you like to have two instead of one?" With that Kabal launched a ground saw at Kano.
Kano was too slow to dodge the attack, and his legs were torn up by the saw.
Kano stands back up from the ground.
"Dodge this, bitch!"
Kano turns his body into a human cannonball and goes flying toward Kabal.
Out of character question: This RP takes place after Deception is completely done or during the events of Deception as well? Don't know whether I should start with Mileena still in charge or if she's already been dethroned...
It's kinda rough to begin with.
Lets just say D to A, and you just do what you want with it.
It's just the most plausible time all these people would be hanging out on Shang's Island.

Kabal lands hard again against a solid stone floor. His respirator cracks and slowly beings hissing out air. The dungeon is pitch black, He flips on his night vision and sees a skeleton hanging on the adjacent wall. Standing up and dusting himself off he slowly begins to realize he's in a long abandoned wing of Goro's vast underground Lair.
"Kano, you damn coward, knocking me into this pit!" he thought furiously. Suddenly a dark shadow cast itself over him, and a warrior appeared before Kabal.

"I can't believe they would send me here to study a long abondand lair. How will this help me learn more about the Shokan?" Thought Taven.
Taven heard a noise in a nearby area of the lair
"What was that?!"
Taven peeked around the corner to find that this cave was far from empty.
He spotted two men, one on the floor, and the other towering over him.
Cyrax decided to look through Goro's Lair. He walked towards the far right of the Prison and saw a small crevice leading behind the wall. Cyrax got on his hands and knees to peer through the hole. It was just big enough for him to fit through.
Cyrax was about 9 meters in the small passage way when the floor behind him started to crumble; Cyrax was not fast enough as he soon fell down a dark tunnel.
Cyrax landed on his side, damaging his armour. The dark Cave was filled with skeletons and large amounts of blood. As Cyrax looked to his right, four violet eyes glared at him from the distance.

"Fuckin' demons, what a nuisance." Kabal looked up and saw the black-haired warrior he had spied earlier getting off the boat. He coughed through his respirator, air was still leaking out of his system.
"Hey bud, gotta light?"
'Follow me. We will make our way towards the Living Forest.'
The hundreds of Tarkatan warrior summoned their blades and hurried towards the Living Forest. As Hotaru led them, he was interuptted and had been informed of Onaga requestiong his presence once again.
----
'Yes, Onaga? I nderstand you have requested my presence.'
'My..informants tell me of business in Earthrealm. There are warriors that may pose a threat to my plans. I want you to go there, and stop them.'
'As you wish.' The Seidan made his way through the chaotic, war-torn land, and found the portal.
-------------
Hotaru steeped foot onto Earthrealm. This land is all but familiar to him. Although he was a highly trained warrior, there could be dangers lurking about.
'I must find my way to a Nethership.' Hotaru looked around and began walking..
'This mustn't be Shao Kahn's Taigore. His never leaves his side,' thought Cyrax. 'I think have stumbled into the Taigore cesspool.'
Suddenly, one Taigore became two, two Taigore became became four. Soon Cyrax was faced with seven Taigores. One by one they jumped on Cyrax until nothing was left open on Cyrax.
The bomb Cyrax had saved for when he was captured by Shang Tsung was the most likely method for survival as Cyrax launched the bomb creating an explosion killing all in the chamber....

"Hello old friend." he said, brandishing his swords, "Uh, about that five dollars you still owe me from a few years back: you want to give that to me now or would you rather me take it out of your pockets after I get done killing you?"

Yaray had misjudged the cliff face he was attempting to climb. The rocks were large and surprisingly smooth making it nearly impossible for him to get any altitude.
The ascent was taking forever and it seemed that even the fighters themselves had become bored. The air gave no more hints of a continuing battle.
A beam of red light to the ground to the east came as a beacon of hope. 'More action,' Yaray thought. Apparently the participants on this island didn't need to wait for Mortal Kombat to spread a little hostility.
The spot of the flash of light was far below and it probably would take too long to reach before the conflict was over, one way or another.
Yaray's chaotic urges shot into overdrive. He noticed a flat, rock sticking out of the cliff that was roughly the size of three men. It sat directly above where all the commotion was taking place.,,
Without another thought, Yaray wildly jumped atop the boulder and charged a beam of white light in his hands. He released a brilliant, spherical projectile at the part of the flat rock that met the cliffside. Rubble flew everywhere as the rock dislodged from the mountain.
Yaray sped down the rocky terrain at lightning speed using his flat rock as a sled.
Rocks and debris started flying out from all directions, Kano ducked for cover.
'Ah, hell" Said Kano.
"I hope your ready, Kabal"
Kano jumped straight down the hole in the ground where Kabal went, and landed right beside him.
He looked around to see the man he saw earlier, too.
"Well, it's a party then"

With on swift slice of his hook sword, Kabal slashed the Oni standing before him in two. The two sides of the Oni split apart and fell to the ground.
"Fuckin' demons, what a nuisance." Kabal looked up and saw the black-haired warrior he had spied earlier getting off the boat. He coughed through his respirator, air was still leaking out of his system.
"Hey bud, gotta light?"
Right as Taven approached the man, someone fell through the same whole the man had come from.
"Well, its a party then" Said the man.
"What is going on? who are you people?" Asked Taven.
"I am only here to study the Shokan, nothing more, and unless you wish to aid me, i bid farewell."
"No one has used these caves for years, and all solid exits are blocked with rubble from when the island caved in." Said Kano.
"And as my dear friend demonstrated here, this place is filled with Oni, and who knows what else. If you leave here, you'll die. I suggest we work as a team."

" 'Ey dickead, where do you think your "bidding farewell" to, huh?" Shouted Kano.
"No one has used these caves for years, and all solid exits are blocked with rubble from when the island caved in." Said Kano.
"And as my dear friend demonstrated here, this place is filled with Oni, and who knows what else. If you leave here, you'll die. I suggest we work as a team."
(OOC - Dammit, why does everyone keep on avoiding me? Does my character smell or something
The grass in the small clearing had completely been eroded by the literal rock-slide. Yaray found himself covered in thickets with scrapes on the emaciated side of his body where he had hit the earth.
This was not the most thought-out plan, but that was the point Yaray mused as he picked himself out of the vegetation.
If there were any signs of battle, they were completely covered by the landslide. The same could be said for any kombatants that were happening to be fighting here.
At least the rubble gave Yaray a mess to sort through. He said nothing as he pushed boulders and stones out of the way, wanting his reveal to be a shock to any potential survivors.
As he was searching by the plants he had fallen into, faint voices escaped from an unknown location. Yaray focused his attention and pinpointed the sounds to behind the rockface where these set of shrubs had decided to make their home. He could see a small crack into a dark cave through the rubble and guessed that this is where the unknown fighters must have gone to if they had not been killed in the landslide.
Yaray stood quiet, one of his ears to the crack of the blocked off cave. He might not be able to disrupt anything yet, but at least he could pick up some information.
(OOC - Dammit, why does everyone keep on avoiding me? Does my character smell or something
It doesn't really matter, as long as it is understandable to someone reading it.
As for avoiding you, Kano is a bit of a wuss when it comes to falling rock about to crush his head, so he ran.
you might as well just jump into the lair also, everyone is down here.

The cave shook and the oni took their chance and ran. Scorpion decided to check this out perhaps he could learn something.
Scorpion now see three fighters in the distance maybe he could really test his newfound powers.
