He just means that when Subby goes for the freeze, he moves slightly forward, and powerpoint is some microsoft programme used for making demonstrations really, deffo not for making sprite animations I reckon

0
hes right. you cant make sprite animations worth a damn on powerpoint. unless if you can click a mouse really, really fast.

Powerpoint is for presentations, for crying out loud.

OK, here's the one I made a while ago:
***GIF ANIMATOR*** By JimboLimbo
Here is a quick tutorial on how to use GIF Animator to make stick animations of your very own!
1. Open paint
2. Set the pixel size (CTRL+E) to around 380 by 115. You don't have to, but thats what I set it to,
and this keeps the file size of the GIF picture real small, so when it becomes an animation, it
won't be a big file, so it'll load quicker!
The size should also give you enough room to do a cool animation, but if it doesn't you can
always change it.
3. Make the frames. Remember, try to make about 20 minimum, otherwise the animation will
happen WAY too quickly. Also, whenever you finish the frame, press save as, and save the
name of it in a number order of which you did them in, so call the first frame, '1', the second
frame, '2', etc.
Also, when you move onto the next frame, don't start an entire new picture trying to draw the
characters the exact same size and in the same position, just use the previous frame, but edit
the arms and legs, or whatever, of the characters, this will just make it look more realistic,
because they won't be jumping all over the place. When you have edited the previous frame, just
'save as' a different frame.
4. After you have made all the frames, open GIF animator
5. Click 'open', and choose the first frame of your animation.
6. Next, you have to import all the other frames into your movie into the correct order.
NOTE: If the animation plays backwards, the order of frames are wrong, and you will have to put
them in the other way. Most of the time, I find I have to put the frames into reverse order for them
to work.
7. Open the 'animation' tab, and choose 'looping', and then 'repeat forever' for it to play over and
over again.
8. Open the 'image' tab, and select all your frames by clicking one any one of the frames, and
pressing CTRL+L, and set the duration to '10'. You might need to make it longer or shorter,
depending on how fast the movie runs.
9. Click 'preview' or CTRL+R, if you are happy with the animation, click 'save as' and save it
somewhere. If you are not happy - edit away!
10. If you want to, post it on the internet using a hosting site like www.photobucket.com, or
'imageshack'. You should sign up - its free, and you can have any image under 250 KB for
photobucket, and 1000 KB for imageshack with the free versions - its good!
And you are done! Try to experiment a bit before showering me with PMs or e-mails, but if you're really stuck, I'll try to help you out.

Nice for one of your first, but the stick people look kinda awful no offence, make sure they look alright before you make one, as it will just generally make it look nicer. Thicker lines usually makes 'em look better I find.
Cool as a little loop though.

No, I don't use the brush< I just use the line tool, except I make it thicker, I use the brush for smaller special effects like blood tricking, lightning, fireballs, or whatever
