posted03/23/2004 09:21 AM (UTC)byI got tired of seeing some of the animations (err lack there of) so I'm out of retirement, esp after learning a even quicker way to animated. Of course I'm always pushing the limits, taking it to the next level with what I do so this will be something different. So go to the url to play the 700 kb flash movie.

Hehe, it's about time I saw something else from ya
.
I just love the dramatics in your animations, but if there's one thing that they need, it's a loading screen, as if it doesn't all load at once, then the music can be out of place with the sound effects, which can also be out of place with the animation.......heh, it gets all out of place.
But still, great animation, I enjoyed it
.
And damn good job on Ermac's voice.
As for the lack of animations lately, I am working on a little....ahem...actually quite big something, heh. Unfortunately, so big it won't be out for a while, heh. But still, I'm not out just yet

LOL ERMACS VOICE IS FROM STAR WARS.

thats pretty cool, the music makes it seem really dramatized. Just 1 thing wrong with it, i dont really like the artwork of Ermacs face when hes talking, but the voice is soo scary. Besides that, really nice. Kinda makes me jealous because iv made so many animations lately tryin to make the perfect 1 for my comeback in the animation business

Ermac's hand drawn stuff was meant to be a joke. It was meant to catch everyone off gaurd. Yes the voice is from Star Wars, Darth Maul. I'm working on getting my wav editor to fake that voice, so all I will have to do is just speak into it. I've always thought since Ermac was made up of souls, he should speak in the 3rd person (I took the idea from my screenplay, heck a lot of new animations are coming from there). I've found a new way to rip and animate, which is much faster. You'd be surprised how long it takes to animate these, only a fraction of the time of the old ones. You'd be surprised how many corners I cut, and yeah I should of inserted the preloader. Next time. The sound I believe makes 50% of the animation, so the sound really has to fit the mood, just thinking about it from a movie standpoint (aka I can use sound to distract you from the poor animation skillz (I've set a standard for myself sooo high, these animations will be crap)). I actually watched a lot of JordanMan and TimMK animations before I jump started again. Props to those guys.
Don't neglect this brand new one

*Blushes* why thank you
About the sound being 50% of the animation. I agree it's important, very much so infact, but I think there is more than sound, animation and fluidity that would push that percentage down.
Quality of sprites, originality for example, are all important, perhaps even more so than sound. The sound takes everything you've done, including the animation detail, and amplifies it to make it seem even better.
Heh, dunno how geeky that sounded but still
As soon as I am finished with this project, you know MKO will be the first place for people to see it. However, it's far from completion at the moment...

Odd. The fatality sucks, however, the sound is very well done.
What did the Chinese cartoon guy say? Did he order a pizza in Italian, or something?
The next time you make an animation, make sure you're not drunk, thank you.
HOLLA AT THE SMOOTH!

The music was alright but I'm pretty sure you didn't make that either. The rest was very poorly made. Look at Tim's to get an idea of how to work.

LOL!!!!!!
The more I see that "fatality," the harder I laugh.
Ermac talking before it is so out-of-place, it's not even funny. But, wait a minute! It is funny!!!!
