Evertime you post one of your drawings I get so pissed off, because the style is always so terrible and unmatching but the coloring is perfect.
Why do you keep giving the characters beaks instead of normal faces?
I hate Reptile's hair aswell. Although it's VERY, VERY nicely done, I just dont see Reptile with that kind of hair.
See, the thing is, the quality is perfect. But nothing matches. Nothing looks right.

It's a very cute and ''pretty'' style, but it just doesn't match mortal kombat at ALL. Maybe if you were drawing Pokémon, or Kirby or something. I dont know. I dont care. In my opinion, it simply doesn't match MK at all and makes the characters look like pussies.

JordanMan: It doesn't look like him at all because the guy that requested it wanted HUMAN Reptile. With my design behind it. I really don't care if you don't think it looks like Reptile simply because his skin isn't green. It's Reptile to the guy that requested the picture, and that's what matters - that I pleased him. The chick is my character, also part of the request. Glad you like my colouring though :) Tells me my practice paid off.

Zentile: Ever consider maybe I don't -like- MK style? That I don't like people that have such huge muscles they can't even comb their own hair? That maybe I want my -own- style that's not some rip-off of Joe Mad? That when I draw something I want people to be able to say, "OMG SPOOn drew that," as opposed to, "Hmm, which of the bajillion fanboys drew this one, and how can I be sure of who it is?"
You know what, I'm glad you don't like it - because you don't like it for its being Mine. You'd like it if I copied something perfectly, but I don't do that. So you just go on ahead and hate it. It'll make me want to post more just so I can genuinely piss you off.

Actually you're wrong. Remember NovaStarr's drawings? They were pretty much exactly the same as the MK3 bio pics that can be found in the instructions booklets. Yet, I didn't like it that they were such perfect copies.
The_Suit, for instance, has a completely unique style. Brutal, very detailed, and whatever. Yet, I loved all of his drawings.

You're right in a way, though. When I see The_Suit's drawings, I go ''oooo baby, Suit draw that! Iz awsome''. When I see your drawings, I go ''ugh... Spoon drew that ''.

I know you like your style. If you didn't, you probably wouldn't be submitting your art to this site. But that's not my problem. I didn't ask if you liked your style, and wether you do like it or not, it's not relevant to the point I was trying to make. My point is: I dont like your style. Because it doesn't fit MK at all. It doesn't. Are you trying to tell me that Reptile with Mick Jagger hair, and a beak fits MK?

Hey I like SPOOn's art. She makes them look cool. So what if they're Anime instead of realistic, everyone has their own artistic style, and I see it as unfair to be so critical of someone based soley upon a style. SO QUIT IT GODDAMNIT!

The problem with Spoon is that she's been spoiled like shit ever since she started posting her wonderfully colored drawings with the wonderful hair and the wonderful detail. I can tell she's not used to having someone hating her work, because -unlike me- she said she wanted to piss me off on purpose.
Well that's some really mature shit ya got there. Can't handle criticism unless it's positive.

She posted her drawing on a public board which I have access to and am infact ALLOWED to post my opinion, negative or not, as long as I'm explicit enough.

whoa calm down, seriously why u arguin? some people love the work some people dont.... i personally love spoons work.... when i see like other peeps work in here thats more straight arrow (like say concept pics or wotever) i says stuff like nice design or cool pose.... but with spoons work i do think wow thats wicked ART. now im not saying this is wot everyone thinks but theres this other forum i belong to (non mk) in which theres this artist who has the most amazing and unique style uve seen (like SP00N) right and there a number of guys who go on there and rip his work to shit cos he doesnt conform to the basic style of drawing that type of thing and its such a shame... spoon dont wanna be remembered as someone who drew pictures she wants to be remembered as someone who MADE ART and i think if she carrys on and improves she will do.

I know there's no point in arguing. That's what I was telling her. If she wants to piss me off just because I didn't like her work and I was honest about it, I think she's the one with the problem here.
