The famous "SPOOn" style is odd looking, if you ask me =P. And the drawing itself is plain, when it comes to the coloring.

Reptile's hair looks so very realistic, I like that =D. I don't know how did it =) *cough*Photoshop 5.5*cough* .

well this is ok, im not a very big fan of it but i like the shading alot, the hair looks really real, but i cant see reptile with a mullet, lol. The shading is excellent IMO, the best part about the picture

Yeah, it isn't as dynamic as I'd have liked, but I was getting close to a self-set deadline and every other idea I had for posing them in was turning out like crap, so I finally settled for what you see. And somehow her legs wound up way too long. o0 But then I guess that's why Reptile likes her.
Well, making the hair like that is actually a simple process. I could teach you if you wanted.

MaxDam: Sadness and Melancholy only appear in the drawings you see, because that's all I can slap in with Scorpion most times. ..... And with Ulrich, but that's another time and place ^^;; If you look in my other galleries you'll find a few, semi-happier pieces.

sandspider: What hairstyle would you have given him? I personally like longer hair, and a mullet was the only thing that really fit what he's wearing: Loose and comfy. Thanks for your honesty.

Actually, I don't think Reptile's hairstyle in this drawing can be classified as a true mullet. For one, I think his bangs are sort of long for this to be a mullet. Also, usually, a mullet has very short hair around the ears, sometimes shaved (I checked pics at google to see, heh). Also, in alot of mullets the hair is at least down to the shoulders. I'm not sure what I'd call this hairstyle, but I defiantly wouldn't call it a mullet in the true sense of the word.

Anyhow, I like this design very much. I like to see the anime type style around sometimes, it is refreshing. As for my opinions on the hari, I quite like it. It doesn't inded look very realistic, and the lighting effects used on it are perfect. The color is nice too, its really the exact color of my hair. The shadowing underneath the hair is excellent too, very good use of lighting effects.

The way you have the girl's hand under part of Reptile's cloth is genious. I love how you can see her hand through it. The texture of the cloth is very good as well. The way the cloth is bunching up around his hand is cool, looks perfect. As for the coloring, its great. Shadows have been placed correctly, again, this is superb use of lighting.

The girl's legs are a bit long I suppose, but that's really the only thing that could be wrong with this. Excellent work.

You said it was for a request so as for the girl, and staff I guess that's part of it.

The hair is superb. The hair is so realistic that it almost clashes with the more cartoony background layer. That really is good, I keep taking more looks to appreciate it Spoon.

Reptiles outfit is both well drawn and well colored, very vibrant.

As for the naked chick I'd almost prefer she wasn't there (what? ) as the quality is less on her. Perhaps it's just because the clothing looks so good on Reptile.

As for the style , well you already know my opinions so I guess count me as #210 or whatever it's up to. I'm just kidding the anatomy is great as usual but the faces...

Take it easy, Spoon. Glad to see you are still creating. I was worried when you started talking about burning sketch pads a while back. I might actually have something to show here myself soon.

Pretty cool, the hair is pretty nice though the ultra-detailed hair does sort of clash I guess but it looks very nice. I really wish I could do hair that well.

Man, I wish I wasn't in an artistic slump right now so I could draw something actually worthwhile...

~Crow~: No self-respecting male would wear his hair like that in the 21st century, therefore it counts as a Mullet. ;) Glad you like what I did with it, all the same.
Yeah, I was kinda torn with the legs: I could either make hers extremely long, or make him look extremely Midget-like. I chose the former as you can see. I'd rather too much than not enough. And if I made her any shorter than he, you guys might have questioned me about Statutory Rape. LOL Thanks so much for the kind words. :)

RaMeir: Yeah, she was giving me a lot of trouble, but since he turned out so well I figured he'd like it no matter what, so I just did the best I could with her. In all honesty she was supposed to have long hair, but it never turned out. *grumble*
Well, I almost did burn the damn thing, but I stopped myself in time to give it a Foster home for a while. Although I did find a second set of drawings that almost fell victim to a match, too. I got over the slump in time, though.

The coloring is really very good, but the way you drew Reptile's face...the angle is just odd. His nose sticks out too much and the hair doesn't seem like it's "on" right.

Sorry if that didn't sound mature to you...ok. But look I was just telling I don't like your picture. I'm not really expecting that you fix it or whatever, I don't care. Just the whole drawing in overall...it's ugly, that's just my opinion. And if people want to call that manga style, I don't. It's just that.

This is a pretty cool picture. It is drawn and colored very well. Also the hair on the ppl is really cool it looks very good. There is sum stuff i could see wrong with this picture. This picture looks nothing like reptile at all, i mean look at his skin no sign of reptile like skin anywhere he just looks like sum human in a green costume. Also who is this girl hes with, reptile has never really been the one to be with a girl. One more thing his nose is sooo big. But i still think the picture is very well drawn and colored so i give u a 4.5/6
