Not bad, but the younger Sub-Zero's big jaw kind of bothers me. Smoke looks good though.

There are definitely some things that you should fix up, but it is still a good artwork.

Sub Zero is way too bulky - his arms are just huge. Also, his hands look like they belong to a gorilla. You should make him a little leaner and he would look a lot better. Also on Sub Zero, the jaw is no the best. He looks more like an army sargeant then a Lin Kuei grandmaster. If you make him a little smaller it would be much better.

Smoke looks alright. His figure, however, is very slim. Perhaps too much so. Also, he has this feminine quality about him that I don't like. I don't really know why, but it doesn't suit him. Also, the head looks a little bit too dark. That part at the front should be a bit lighter, then it would be perfect.

Noob Saibot is the best one there in my opinion. His pants are a little too big, but that is part of his look, so I think it is alright. If you make his hands smaller and lessen the amount of muscle (not the size of the arms, but the lines going along them), he will be perfect. Also, his eyes are a little different.

I just picked every single flaw there, so don't worry. I by no means think that this piece is bad, I am just advising you how to change it from good to excellent. So for now, I give it a 7/10.

Very nice, its just sub's face looks a little weird, his jaw is too big, he shouldnt be that bulky.


But overall, 8/10,very nice, i like your style.

Arrite, this is getting beyond annoying. I LIKE SKINNY ROBOTS. It's my style to have either really skinny characters or really bulky characters. Open up a book by Joe Mad once in a while and see how exagerating a character's physique is like. Smoke is fine, he's skinny, so fucking what? There are plenty of skinny people out there who'd be able to kick the living crap out of some big douche bag. Anyway, Smoke is not too skinny, lay off saying that.

He's a robot, bulk would not only weigh him down, it would slow him down.

Anyway... honestly, if you don't like how I drew the pics, say you don't like it. Don't say you should change this or change that. This is not a pic I will be redrawing to please you. If you don't like it, fine! Say you don't. I liked the first posters comment... he didn't like it! He kept it nice and simple. He didn't try to give me pointers because trust me, I am not going to change my style. And this is how all my pics are going to look. And know what else, I will still get commisioned work for how I draw because believe it or not, there are people out there that like it.

So... yeah, Smoke's not too skinny. Skinny robot's kick ass.

This is a great drawing. The only thing I don't like is that Sub-Zero is missing his scar, and that he looks like an 80 year old man. But that doesn't take away from the art.

What did you use to color it?

People actually took there time in studying you're artwork and looked for areas they think you can improve on and you respond like that? Although you may have a style you will to adher to, it is wise to listen to people's comments on what they think of your artwork, becuase at the end of the day, art work needs to please the artist and the viewers.

Basically, what I am trying to say is that you need to be more open up to criticism. Criticism is a very usefull in improvin your skills. As for this piece of artwork, i actually like it.

I know I over reacted. This pic is personal though, it's for my little brother coming out of surgery. He wanted something that reflected us and this characature is the best I could come up with on short notice.

Thanks guys, he'll be better soon. When he was two, he had pneumonia and that somehow effected the development of his legs. Doctor's tried to find other ways of alligning his bones, but they were left with no choice but to operate since he is hitting 13 soon, the time for growth and all.

They pretty much drilled 4 holes in each leg, put in screws, and alligned his bones with large frames. They just took them off recently and he's missing about a month of school and started to walk again.

But... he's still a little brother, and still annoys me for the sake of being a little brother, so he's recovering well. Thanks again ^_^.
