Many thanks to Bleed for the Smoke tutorial.

Wow, that looks sweet.

I like that costume, his pose, and I love the smoke wink

Just 2 little things I think would be better.
That would be his hands, they should be open, not closed fists.

You can use MK2 Reptiles hands for that, or some other one that looks good.

With the fists right now, I don't get the feeling that he's really holding the head.

The second thing is that it looks to me like Smoke took a step away from Sub Zero after the kill, so there should be a trail of smoke to reflect that. Basically, the smoke trail would show movement.

I'm gonna make another tutorial, for keeping sprites SHARP when you rotate them, or resize them.

No more blurry sprites.

Thanks Bleed.

Yeah, I did have a few problems with blending the head in the neck.
No, the head on Smoke looks perfect, I was talking about his hands.

He is holding Sub Zero's head with closed fists.

They should be open hands.

That's all.

Nice effect on the smoke. My main complaint is his hands don't look like they are holding the head.

Why care about people if they're not bloody and on your carpet right now?

Before the tutorial hits the shelves, I feel like asking if I can put it into my artist advice thread when it comes here.

That's not the most important reason though. I wanted to guess some of the procedure. Does it involve the gaussian blur, and the blur tool?
For sharpening sprites?

If so, then No, it involves making a new image file.

You can put it in your thread if you want.
